[{"data":1,"prerenderedAt":-1},["ShallowReactive",2],{"origin-the-villain-s-story":3,"chapter-the-villain-s-story-the-villain-s-story-chapter-112":6},{"origin":4,"title":5},"english","The Villain's Story",{"chapter":7,"nextChapterSlug":19,"prevChapterSlug":20,"totalChapters":21,"novelImage":22},{"id":8,"novel_id":9,"title":10,"slug":11,"index":12,"content":13,"wordcount":14,"created_at":15,"updated_at":15,"volume":16,"translator":17,"content_hash":18},746787,986,"Chapter 112 [112]...A Different World[2]","the-villain-s-story-chapter-112",112,"\u003Cp>I was ignorant.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>No, it is much better to say I was stupid.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Because my memories of the novel are from Elijah's Point of View, the point of view of the character that had a literal system that was honestly even more overpowered than most other systems I'm other fantasy system type novels.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>My entire memory of the novel was from his POV, which was why I had subconsciously fallen into the delusion that skills could only be learned by skills books or special rewards from the system.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And adding to this fact was that the novel never had any mention of the History the sword saint talked about.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I wonder if I was truly the richest man in my world at times.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>...yeah?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But, I must agree that the sword saint proposed an interesting concept to me.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>To learn a skill, perform a specific action repeatedly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I wonder, how long will it take me to master [Mana Sense], especially with Mana Master at my disposal.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I took a deep breath and spread my mana to the farthest limits of the room calmly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And immediately after I had done so, I condensed it as much as I could...and was greeted by a world of colors dominated by Red, Blue, Brown, Grey, and some others\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'The individual Elements.'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I thought.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>These vibrant colors belonged to the four basic elements of fire, water, earth, and air probably.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They were also the most abundant elements, so no surprise about me being able to see them in this world.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But they are annoying.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They disturb my view, filling it with unnecessary colors.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>They make it hard for me to focus when so many colors are abundant.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'Begone.'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I thought as I made my mana spread out even more violently and push the other elements away from my area of influence.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And after I did that, I was greeted by a world of white, a world dominated by only a single color instead of multiple.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>No, to say a single color would be wrong.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>More like a world of darkness, outlined by white lines showing the organic and inorganic objects filled with their own and my mana.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The tiles on the floor, the bodies of the other people here, their position, their faces, all outlined by white lines.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'Interesting.'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I thought as I examined their faces, which were all different.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The lines on the face of the sword saint were wider as if his mouth was open.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The lines on Alex's and Lucas's faces are more defined. And on Olivia's face even more.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>....wait a minute.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Defined? On their face?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Because they have a high Charm stat?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I need to check my own.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And so I did and lamented at the fact that I DID. For even in this world, I'm not considered breathtakingly handsome.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The lines on my face are slightly less defined than on their faces.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>***\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I dodged the attacks of Alex and Lucas respectively as I nimbly moved my feet\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'It's quite hard to get used to.'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I thought to myself as I continued to dodge their attacks.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The sword saint had immediately demanded that we all spar, me with mana sense against all of them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I do have to admit, it is quite hard to get used to the lines moving as they move.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It's as if their entire body structure changed simultaneously.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It was hard, but not that hard to dodge their attacks.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>What I'm worried about is that the genius Olivia hasn't attacked.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Her intellect compares to Sabrina's at this stage of the Novel.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And it's very nerve-wracking when a genius is silently watching you, thinking of ways to defeat you.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And what's more, Alex and Lucas are keeping me occupied, so I can't even take the initiative to attack.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"His mana has completely dominated this entire area.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I heard the voice of the sword saint as I continued to dodge their attacks, and also landed a jab on Alex's face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Followed by a straight at Lucas's.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"WHY ARE YOU AIMING FOR OUR FACES ALL THE TIME?!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I heard Lucas shout and just showed him my middle finger.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Uncle, can you tell me if my rapier is also dominated by his mana?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I then heard the One who I was wary of asking her uncle a question.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Yes, it is.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"How about now?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Oh, you've pushed his mana out by using your own, but it still won't work, he can still see it.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Olivia didn't respond again and just rushed at me.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I immediately ignored Alex and Lucas and put all my attention on her.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She charged at me with blinding speeds, my attention on her rapier.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And it was then when she was close.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Her weapon released a burst of her mana...and completely disappeared from my sight.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'What the heck?!'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I thought, her body moved but I couldn't see where her weapon was!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And before I knew it, I felt the sharp sensation of a blade on my neck.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"So mana sense can't detect objects devoid of mana at all, huh.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I heard her voice which sent chills down my spine.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>....\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And then, I saw the white lines occupy her blade again...and immediately realized what she just did.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She used her mana to occupy her weapon, pushing mine out. And When she was about to attack, she released her mana as a sort of explosion, making her weapon empty of mana for a few seconds.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And to top it off, that explosion of her mana clashed with my mana, stopping it from occupying her blade quickly...which was why I could not see it.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'Damn you geniuses.'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I cursed her in my mind.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Who the hell thinks of that kind of strategy?\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And while I was momentarily surprised by her attack.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Alex's swords stopped right on my neck.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>While my face was smashed with Lucas's mace.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Hah! how does it feel to get hit in the face n-?!\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He could not finish his sentence because I kicked him hard enough to make him vomit blood and go flying.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>I opened my eyes, exiting the world of Mana Sense, and was greeted by Olivia's's Shocked expression as she looked at my face.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>'... he's not even injured by a full-on blow from a mace?'\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Olivia thought in her mind.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She then turned her attention towards Lucas who was unconscious and lying in a small pool of blood being examined by the Sword Saint.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>She quickly made a small note to herself.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Never take on Alan Peccator's Kicks head on\u003C\u002Fp>",1094,"2026-06-02T11:57:26.351Z",1,"novelbin.me","4d8d8d89a11f9fa2e17b0ac802af98f2a2169b86930ecc5c7ab0431fb08e4c1c","the-villain-s-story-chapter-113","the-villain-s-story-chapter-111",910,"https:\u002F\u002Fnovelzhen.com\u002Fimages\u002Fcovers\u002Fthe-villain-s-story-cover.jpg"]
