Chapter 91

"Lord Yanqing certainly cannot use his full strength to make you unable to pass the assessment; as long as you show enough martial power, it is not impossible to pass Lord Yanqing's assessment."

"And passing Lord Yanqing's assessment will also give you more opportunities to become Cloud Knight Lieutenants in the future and catch Lord Yanqing's eye."

Hearing the instructor's words, the Cloud Knights present were immediately stunned.

Is that so?

"Phew."

Immediately, someone breathed a sigh of relief: "That's great, I said so, how could we pass Lord Yanqing's assessment, but if Lord Yanqing goes easy on us, then there's certainly no problem."

"Forget it, even if Lord Yanqing doesn't use his full strength, this assessment is difficult; don't forget that Lord Yanqing can kill us in seconds with ordinary sword arts."

"What we can do is try our best to hold on for a few moves in front of Lord Yanqing, or make Lord Yanqing look at us with admiration, so that we can better pass the assessment."

"Overall, it's still good; after all, Lord Yanqing will go easy on us, so we still have hope."

"And if we pass, we can also catch Lord Yanqing's eye, making it easier to become Cloud Knight Lieutenants in the future; that is a Cloud Knight Lieutenant, the backbone of the Cloud Knights."

"That's true, it makes sense."

One Cloud Knight after another present breathed a sigh of relief and discussed.

Their mood changed very quickly, from despair at the beginning to excitement now.

"Whoosh!"

At this time, a sword light flew from the horizon and landed in front of everyone.

Yanqing walked out of the sword light, nodded to the Cloud Knights present, and then said to the Cloud Knight instructor in front of him: "How is the preparation? If you are ready, let's start now; I still have things to go to the General's place in a while, I'm in a hurry."

"Everything is ready."

Hearing Yanqing's words, this Cloud Knight instructor immediately said respectfully: "We can start at any time."

Saying that, he took the initiative to step aside.

Hearing this, Yanqing nodded, then looked at the Cloud Knights below, and said: "Next, I will be responsible for your assessment, one by one; as long as you can hold on against the sword moves in my hand, or resist, or defend, and make me look at you with approval, you will pass the assessment."

"Don't worry, I won't use any power; I will use the most basic sword arts to spar with you."

Yanqing spoke quickly, which made the eyes of the Cloud Knights present light up.

According to Lord Yanqing's words, wouldn't it be very easy for them to pass the assessment?

Subsequently, a group of people, under the instructor's instructions, started to queue up and prepare to go on stage one by one.

After the first Cloud Knight went on stage, he took a weapon from the rack next to him, which was placed with various weapons, and walked up.

"Lord Yanqing, please."

This Cloud Knight had just spoken when he saw a sword strike horizontally, instantly hitting him all over, causing him to retreat and fall down.

From going on stage to being defeated, it only happened in an instant, which made the Cloud Knights present change their expressions.

Such fast speed.

"However."

Yanqing, who casually swept this Cloud Knight down, had a calm expression: "Going on stage means the assessment has started; there isn't that much time for you to be flowery; you are a Cloud Knight, not a strategist."

Hearing Yanqing's words, the Cloud Knight who was swept down by Yanqing turned pale.

So that's how it is.

And the Cloud Knights who hadn't participated gasped.

So that's how it is.

"Luckily I wasn't the first one to go on stage, otherwise I would have made this mistake."

For a moment, someone breathed a sigh of relief.

They also thought about going on stage and saying something before starting.

Who could have thought that just going on stage meant starting, and there wasn't that much time for you to talk nonsense.

Soon, the second Cloud Knight went on stage.

He directly carried a long spear and launched an attack on Yanqing at the first opportunity.

"Clang!"

When the weapons collided crisply, Yanqing flicked the sword in his hand away with one sword, and then hit this Cloud Knight who was participating in the assessment out with another sword.

"Full of flaws, not a bit of strength, you don't pass."

Hearing Yanqing's evaluation, the defeated Cloud Knight turned pale.

He was defeated.

This meant that the identity of a Cloud Knight would leave him.

Soon, the third Cloud Knight went on stage; this time the Cloud Knight also launched an attack first.

In a few seconds, he was hit and fell off the stage.

"You can't even hold your weapon, what will you do on the battlefield? However."

Yanqing shook his head gently: "I have already gone very easy on you, and you still don't pass; you are not suitable to be a Cloud Knight."

Hearing Yanqing's words, the Cloud Knights present changed their expressions slightly.

Soon, another Cloud Knight went on stage.

In a few seconds, he was defeated by Yanqing again.

"You only need to hold on for a few moves under my hand, but you can't even hold on, however..."

"The spear technique is too poor, it won't do, however."

"Thick-skinned, but a bit more resistant to beating, can hold on, pass."

"Hmm, physical fitness is good, spear technique is flexible, barely pass."

Soon, as one Cloud Knight after another went on stage, Yanqing's evaluation sounds rang out one after another.

Either the strength was not good, or the martial arts were not good; many Cloud Knights did not pass.

Those who passed were all those whose physical fitness was not bad, or who were resistant to beating, could take a beating, and whose martial arts were a bit stronger.

Most of them did not pass.

Seeing this scene, Lin Mo's eyelids jumped.

It turns out that the trainee Cloud Knight assessment also relies heavily on physical fitness.

Compared to these long-lived species, his physical fitness is not resistant to beating.
