Chapter 98

"I don't even know how high the difficulty of future assessments will be. Could it be that I am really not suited to be a Cloud Knight?"

"That's impossible. That short-lived species Lin Mo could do it, why didn't I pass?"

"Your words are funny. Didn't you see Lin Mo's sword techniques? Those are techniques that even Lord Yanqing bowed down to."

One after another, the Cloud Knights who failed the assessment walked towards the outside, dejected.

When they left, they were still discussing, and the discussion turned to Lin Mo.

Many of the Cloud Knights who failed the assessment looked at Lin Mo with eyes full of envy.

Regarding the gazes of the crowd, Lin Mo smiled faintly and did not say anything.

Instead, he looked at the virtual panel in front of him.

On his virtual panel, there was still influence emerging.

For Lin Mo, the discussions of these people were a good thing, as they could increase his influence.

"From now on, you are official Cloud Knights. As long as you don't commit major mistakes, it is impossible for you to be fired."

After all the Cloud Knights who failed the assessment left, the Cloud Knight instructor looked at the remaining Cloud Knights who had passed the assessment below and said loudly: "But at the same time, since you are now official Cloud Knights, you need to patrol places where Mara-struck often appear."

"In various caves of the Luofu, there are many forbidden places where Mara-struck soldiers appear. The places you patrol in the future will not be as relaxed as before."

"At the same time, in the shadows, there are Mara-struck related to the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus. You need to observe these carefully and even deal with them. There are still potential crises on the Luofu."

Hearing the words of the Cloud Knight instructor, the Cloud Knights who passed the assessment present became solemn one by one.

Of course, they knew that Mara-struck soldiers existed in every corner of the Xianzhou.

The Xianzhou is too big, and even if the various caves are very prosperous, there are still Mara-struck appearing.

"However, the current situation is still good, so you don't need to panic too much. I am just telling you that you must keep your duties in mind."

The Cloud Knight instructor said in a deep voice: "If you perform well, you can join other Cloud Knight teams and follow the Cloud Knights on expeditions. Since you have passed the Cloud Knight assessment, what you need to do now is to go and familiarize yourself with the star-skiffs at the Sky-Faring Commission. You need to learn it, as this will be one of your retreats in the future."

"I won't say much more about the specifics. I will notify you in the group. You have a few days of rest now, so you can relax properly. I will also arrange the places you need to guard."

Saying this, this Cloud Knight instructor simply added Lin Mo and the others to a newly created group.

"Lin Mo, can I add your contact information?"

At this time, Yanqing walked over, looked at Lin Mo, and said: "If you have time in the future, we can make an appointment to spar again."

Yanqing really valued Lin Mo's sword arts.

It would be great if he could spar with this person often.

After all, there is still a lot for him to learn.

Even if the other party is a short-lived species.

But Yanqing did not look down on Lin Mo at all; instead, he admired him very much.

To possess such sword arts and such powerful talent at such a young age.

"Sure."

Hearing Yanqing's words, Lin Mo's eyes brightened slightly.

For Lin Mo, Yanqing taking the initiative to add him as a friend only had benefits and no downsides.

After all, he could continue to find Yanqing in the future to copy Yanqing's abilities.

With Yanqing's contact information, he could build a good relationship with him.

When he wants to meet up or something, it will be easy.

Immediately, the two added each other's contact information.

"I'm envious, Lord Yanqing actually took the initiative to add Lin Mo's contact information."

"If there is anything in the future, couldn't we just find Lord Yanqing?"

"This is close-range contact with Lord Yanqing, becoming friends with Lord Yanqing."

Seeing that Yanqing actually took the initiative to add Lin Mo as a friend, the surrounding Cloud Knights who passed the assessment and had not yet left looked over with envious expressions.

Yanqing actually took the initiative to add Lin Mo's contact information; wouldn't Lin Mo be Yanqing's friend from now on?

At this moment, they wished they could swap places with Lin Mo.

After adding him, Yanqing also chatted briefly about sword techniques.

When he heard Lin Mo's understanding of sword techniques, Yanqing was once again shocked and surprised.

Lin Mo really had improved his sword techniques.

If he didn't have other things to do, Yanqing would definitely drag Lin Mo to spar again.

However, with Lin Mo's contact information, Yanqing knew there would be time in the future.

After saying goodbye to Lin Mo, he left.

The rest of the Cloud Knights also gradually left.

"Not bad, kid."

At this time, the Cloud Knight instructor walked over, patted Lin Mo on the shoulder, and laughed heartily: "I didn't expect you to be so talented that even Lord Yanqing looks at you with admiration."

While speaking, he looked at Lin Mo with an amazed expression.

He believed that with Lin Mo's talent, as long as he was given time, he would inevitably grow into a powerful figure.

"It's alright."

Hearing the instructor's words, Lin Mo smiled: "If there is nothing else, I will leave first. I still need to make a trip to the Alchemy Commission."

"Going to the Alchemy Commission? Alright, then I won't disturb you."

Hearing Lin Mo's words, the instructor raised an eyebrow and then nodded: "If there is anything, I will notify you via phone. You all should rest well these few days. There is a small holiday for passing the assessment, and I will update your status."

"Mm."

Hearing the instructor's words, Lin Mo nodded.

Immediately, he took the Qiong Yu Fruit Soup and left, walking towards the place where he could take a star-skiff.

"To be valued by Lord Yanqing, he will surely be a backbone of the Cloud Knights in the future."

Watching Lin Mo leave, the Cloud Knight instructor sighed: "Unexpectedly, a short-lived species can reach this point. If possible, I can promote and build momentum for Lin Mo later to publicize the Cloud Knights."

While this Cloud Knight instructor was sighing.

On the other side.

Alchemy Commission.

Bai Lu was also waiting eagerly for Lin Mo's message.

"Ding-dong."

Suddenly, the phone vibrated, making Bai Lu's eyes brighten immediately as she looked over.

It was indeed a message from Lin Mo.

"I have passed the Cloud Knight assessment, and I am bringing the Qiong Yu Fruit Soup over now."

"Great!"

Seeing the message from Lin Mo, Bai Lu's expression was immediately full of surprise: "Lin Mo passed the Cloud Knight assessment."

"Ah?"

Hearing Bai Lu's words, the maid next to Bai Lu widened her eyes in surprise: "He, a short-lived species, passed the Cloud Knight assessment?"

She had already prepared herself for Lin Mo not passing the Cloud Knight assessment.

Her previous words were just to comfort Bai Lu.

As a result, she didn't expect Lin Mo to actually pass the Cloud Knight assessment.

It was somewhat unbelievable.

You have to know, Lin Mo is a short-lived species, not a long-lived one.

Yet now he was able to pass the Cloud Knight assessment.

"As expected of the person I value."

Bai Lu said with approval: "Ask Lin Mo later if the area he is responsible for has changed after passing the assessment."

"And I have also released the news that thirty bottles of Qiong Yu Fruit Soup will be sold today!"

Under Bai Lu's anticipation, time passed quietly.

Not long after, Lin Mo walked over from outside the Alchemy Commission and went straight to Bai Lu's clinic.

"You finally arrived!"

Seeing Lin Mo walking over, Bai Lu's gaze immediately looked at the box in Lin Mo's hand.
