Chapter 651: Dongji Qing Emperor Longevity Scripture (Combined Chapter)
Every time he encountered something new, Li Yuan's mood would lift, with the pleasure of exploring the unknown.
Hum—
Li Yuan merely flicked a thought, and a white light rose from the dull iron token, weaving before him into a sheet of light, within which characters flowed.
【Li Yuan】
【Dao Title: Not yet bestowed】
【Shan Gong: Da Gong 1, Xiao Gong 2000 (eight hundred gifted by Fayin Fayin Tongzi)】
【Current Rank: Mount Mount Dongxuan Inner Disciple Rank】
【Can partially commune with the Da Luo Catalog: Scripture Pavilion】
【Cultivated Gong Fa: Kun Peng True Form Diagram (disciple's own Gong Fa, not exchanged with Shan Gong), Dongji Qing Emperor Longevity Scripture (obtained upon entering Mount Mount Dongxuan, not exchanged with Shan Gong)】
"Even the immortal child values propriety; when free, one ought to pay more visits… eh?"
Li Yuan read through them one by one, then his heart stirred: "Dongji… that's the diagram I obtained upon entering Mount Mount Dongxuan? It's actually recorded in the register?"
Before entering Mount Mount Dongxuan, he had used the 'Five Senses Set' to roam through that sea of divine patterns for the time it takes to brew a cup of tea, and finally chose that giant-tree diagram.
"The Dongji Qing Emperor Longevity Scripture?"
Li Yuan narrowed his eyes slightly, and the diagram he had obtained from roaming the sea of divine patterns surfaced from within his mind-sea.
Hum—
A soft tremor rang through his heart.
In a daze, Li Yuan felt as if he had become a seed, carried by some unknown bird and dropped into mud; he did not know how long before he broke through the seed's shell and put forth his first tender rootlet.
The 'self' greedily extended its rootlets, constantly exploring deep into the earth, drawing in all the nourishment it needed; after who knows how long, the 'self' broke through the soil and became a sapling.
……
Li Yuan quietly felt it all.
As if he had truly become a seed, through endless, endless years, from a little sapling in a mountain hollow to a great tree that blotted out the sky,
beginning from that life-star, its branches and leaves finally pierced through the gang-wind cloud layer, stretched into the boundless star-sea, and ultimately became a terrifying giant tree he himself could hardly describe!
Rooted in the earth, exploring the star-sea, with myriad branches spreading out, covering river after river of stars; countless spirit-birds nested and bred among the branches.
"Hoo!"
After a long while, Li Yuan slowly came back to himself; it took him quite a while to digest it before he shook off the illusion that he was a tree.
This Dongji Qing Emperor Longevity Scripture was far more terrifying than any Wu Gong he had previously learned; he had merely brushed against it slightly, and before even immersing himself, he already had the terrifying illusion of wanting to root himself in the earth.
"I must first go to the Scripture Pavilion to take a look; a Gong Fa of this level cannot be learned lightly…"
Li Yuan gently exhaled a breath of turbid air, his fingers lightly pinching the disciple token.
Whirr—
The next instant, Li Yuan was dazed; when he came back to himself, he felt he was once again enveloped by a deep, vast starry sky. He looked around—everywhere his eyes reached were glittering points of starlight.
"So this is the Scripture Pavilion?"
As the thought arose in Li Yuan's heart, he heard a tremendous 'Boom-boom-boom' from deep within the star-sea; faintly, it seemed as if terrifying gazes swept across him—gone in an instant, but certainly no illusion.
【Newly promoted inner disciple Li Yuan…】
【May enter the Scripture Pavilion…】
【Inner disciples may use 'Shan Gong' within the Scripture Pavilion to browse the Gong Fa categories 'Art, Fa, Gong, Canon, Scripture'…】
【For newly promoted inner disciples, the first chosen Gong Fa or scripture may be discounted by ninety-nine percent; limited to one volume】
【Any Gong Fa or scripture learned within the Scripture Pavilion is forbidden from being leaked!】
……
After the 'Boom-boom-boom' sounds, the above text unfolded before Li Yuan like a waterfall—all written in Origin Divine Script, listing points of attention.
"The rules of the Scripture Pavilion?"
Li Yuan read very carefully; after committing each to memory, he only then began to roam within the Scripture Pavilion.
Yes, roam.
This starry sky was the Scripture Pavilion; every star, every point of starlight was an incomparably vast library, the number of Gong Fa and scriptures within simply beyond imagination.
"If I had to pick on my own, even decades might not be enough to find what I want…"
After roaming for a moment, Li Yuan awoke from his shock and decisively gave up choosing on his own; with a flick of thought, following the rules he had just seen, he called out:
"Inner disciple Li Yuan requests a 'Book Worm' to appear and select a Gong Fa on my behalf; I am willing to pay 'Xiao Gong' as thanks!"
Hum—
Before Li Yuan's words had even fallen, streams of flowing light lit up within the starry sky; soon, one stream of light broke free and landed before him:
"Newcomer, next time state clearly the number of Xiao Gong you're offering, or no Book Worm will bother with you!"
The speaker was a little old man.
About a foot tall, stooped in build, his beard and hair both white, his face utterly solemn.
"Many thanks for the guidance, senior."
Li Yuan cupped his fist in thanks, while stealing curious glances.
Book Worms were guides found only within the Scripture Pavilion; they were said to be a very special kind of spirit-puppet, long-lived and passionately fond of reading, and so they never left the Scripture Pavilion in their entire lives.
Disciples entering the Scripture Pavilion could employ them with Shan Gong to select the Gong Fa and scriptures they needed.
"How much Shan Gong are you offering?"
The little old man was very direct.
"The normal price will do."
Li Yuan glanced at the little old man: "When I first entered, I asked Fayin Fayin Tongzi, and learned that some Book Worms are quite nasty—once they meet a new disciple, they will Feng Feng Mantian (ask sky-high prices)…"
"This old man is certainly not that sort of person!"
Hearing the words "Lingshu," the old man narrowed his eyes, then Yu Yu Xuanji squeezed out a smile:
"This old man only needs one Xiao Gong. I wonder what Gong Fa manuals the new disciple needs—shall we use up your one discount opportunity?"
"Keep the discount opportunity for now."
Li Yuan waved his hand:
"First, list out a catalog for me to look at."
Chatting casually with Fayin Fayin Tongzi did have its benefits. Although Li Yuan was a newcomer, he did have some understanding of certain things.
For example, the Scripture Pavilion, and for example, these bookworms.
Bookworms feed on reading, but they can flip through shallow-level books on their own; for deep-level books, they too need Shan Gong to flip through them.
Therefore, when encountering disciples who don't know the ropes, these bookworms often fleece them soundly. Especially inner disciples—who upon entry receive a hundred years of stipend—are, in the bookworms' eyes, fat sheep indeed.
"Damned Lingshu, hairy horned beast!"
The old man cursed Lingshu furiously in his heart, yet had no choice but to list out the catalog:
"The Gong Fa scriptures in the Scripture Pavilion are as vast as a sea of smoke. This catalog is only what this old man has read over the years; many of them I've only seen the names of. Pick for yourself!"
The old man flung his hand in annoyance—he hated those who knew the trade most.
If it were someone who didn't know the trade, he'd take one Shan Gong per book, and in one sitting might earn dozens or even a hundred Xiao Gong. But now, there was only one.
Whoosh~
The catalog rose like a curtain at least two hundred zhang high, the text upon it as fine as ox hair. At a glance, the various scripture titles must already number in the hundreds of millions!
"And this is just one bookworm's catalog…"
Li Yuan clicked his tongue inwardly, then immediately focused his gaze on the catalog, his heart pounding faster and faster, his eyes lighting up.
The Great Luo Heaven divides all the world's myriad Gong Fa into multiple grades. From bottom to top, they are: Jue, Fa, Gong, Dian, Jing, Dao. Inner disciples may borrow any Gong Fa below the 'Dao grade.'
So long as your Shan Gong is sufficient, borrow as many as you want, learn as many as you want.
But…
"Too little Shan Gong!"
Li Yuan flipped through the catalog.
The Gong Fa prices in the Scripture Pavilion couldn't be called expensive. The price of a 'Jue-grade' Gong Fa was at minimum one Xiao Gong, at most no more than twelve Xiao Gong.
Above that, Li Yuan spotted a familiar Gong Fa.
【Red Blood Demonic Bull Art: Jue grade, Fa-Gong type, entry requires only one corresponding divine rune… borrowing requires one Xiao Gong】
One spell costs only one Xiao Gong—looked at this way, the price was very cheap. After all, an inner disciple receives twelve Xiao Gong a year; one could easily exchange for a dozen or so manuals like the Demonic Bull Art.
But the higher up, the more expensive. Fa-grade Gong Fa cost at minimum ten Xiao Gong, at most up to a hundred—still manageable for inner disciples.
But Gong-grade and Dian-grade Gong Fa were already very expensive.
Any Gong-grade manual cost at least a hundred Xiao Gong. Li Yuan even saw one called "Six Desires Dividing Mo Gong," priced at a whopping thirty-six hundred Xiao Gong.
And Dian-grade manuals already required Da Gong—from as few as one to as many as dozens or hundreds of Da Gong.
Jing-grade divine arts started at one hundred Da Gong.
"Too expensive!"
Li Yuan's eyelids twitched wildly. One Jing-grade divine art—if there were no other Shan Gong income, relying solely on the Shan Gong bestowed by the sect, it would take ten thousand years to exchange for even one!
But that was impossible.
Not to mention whether an inner disciple could even live ten thousand years—even if they could, they couldn't avoid spending Da Gong. Cultivation doesn't only require Gong Fa.
"The Dongji Longevity Scripture actually requires six hundred and seventy Da Gong?!"
Li Yuan was shocked, only now realizing what a tremendous fortune he'd obtained when he observed Mount Mount Dongxuan at his entry.
"Have you chosen?"
Li Yuan was exclaiming in wonder after wonder, but the old bookworm's face was full of impatience. A one-Xiao Gong deal was simply a waste of his time—not even worth flipping a few pages!
Li Yuan paid no mind to his terrible attitude, thought briefly, and said:
"Please trouble the senior to fetch the 'Three Books for Registered Disciple Entry,' 'Three Books for Auditor Disciple Entry,' 'Three Books for Inner Disciple Entry,' and the 'Mount Mount Dongxuan Rules.'"
"?!"
The old man froze, sizing him up and down as if looking at a kindred spirit:
"You little rascal—not a single paid book?"
"I've only just entered the sect, so naturally I must save my Shan Gong."
Li Yuan felt not the slightest embarrassment. With only this much Shan Gong to his name, of course he couldn't spend recklessly—he had to first find ways to earn Shan Gong.
"Not bad, not bad at all."
The impatience vanished from the old man's face. Stroking his few white whiskers, he asked: "There are also many books in the Scripture Pavilion that can be freely borrowed. Entry disciples can borrow up to a hundred books at a time!"
Li Yuan was surprised by the old man's change in attitude and smiled, cupping his hands:
"Then, please trouble the senior to round up a hundred."
"Mm."
The old man gave a slight nod, transformed into light and departed. Before long he returned, books floating after him one by one, landing before Li Yuan.
"Many thanks, senior."
Li Yuan swept his gaze over them—besides the ones he'd chosen,
there were also things like 'Shan Gong Rules,' 'Detailed Explanation of Spells,' 'A Few Matters on Choosing Gong Fa,' 'Shen Qian Wu Jing,' and the like—not a single miscellaneous book among them.
"This is your due payment."
Li Yuan's mind moved, and he parted with ten Shan Gong.
The old man froze at first, then smiled and vanished into the sea of stars:
"Kid, this old man is 'Shu Shu Haoshou.' When you come next time, just call my name directly!"
……
……
Coming out of Li Yuan's small grotto-heaven, Fayin Fayin Tongzi didn't wander off anywhere else either. He climbed the steps, unhurriedly returning to his elegant bamboo grove dwelling. "Forgot to ask that kid what Gong Fa he comprehended from viewing Mount Mount Dongxuan. Ah well, I'll take a look myself."
Fayin Fayin Tongzi suddenly remembered something he had forgotten, but in a flash, he had already connected with the Da Luo Catalogue. With a slight focus of his spirit, he could already see Li Yuan's information:
"Oh? It's actually this Gong Fa? No wonder he looked at it for the time it takes to drink a cup of tea. But it's still a pity his realm is too low. If he had previously refined upper-grade magic power, who knows, he might not have been any worse than that 'Yu Yu Wangxian'!"
Mentioning 'Yu Yu Wangxian', Fayin Fayin Tongzi couldn't help but grit his teeth and curse his bad luck inwardly—why did he have to think of that bastard.
"Bah!"
Fayin Fayin Tongzi spat, and hurried back to the bamboo grove to report.
His pace was naturally extremely fast. Even though Mount Mount Dongxuan had the saying "Yi Bu Yi Zhong" (every step a different heaven), in no time at all he had returned to his elegant bamboo grove dwelling. Before the bamboo hut, he bowed and waited for the old master's summons.
Suddenly hearing the 'Grandfather Kuhai Bell' ring, he looked up in astonishment:
"Grandfather Grandfather Kuhai, what is this?"
"Dang~"
The wind chime before the bamboo hut swayed, and a deep, low voice rang out:
"Little boy, a guest has arrived. Take me and go forth to welcome them!"
"A guest?"
Fayin Fayin Tongzi was startled, then immediately accepted the order. After bowing three times, he carefully took down the Grandfather Kuhai Bell, and only then hurried down the mountain, riding a cloud straight toward the outside of the mountain.
Hum~
He had just reached the foot of the mountain when he heard a long, bell-like quavering sound. Following the sound, he saw a patch of darkness in which Jin Guang flared.
Eighteen monks with extremely robust physiques, carrying a Buddhist palanquin, stepped through the void out of the darkness.
That Buddhist palanquin was the height of luxury, its treasure-light cascading like a waterfall dazzling to the eye. Before and after it were eight precious banners, carved with treasure vases, treasure canopies, twin fish, lotus flowers, right-coiling conches, auspicious knots, victory banners, dharma wheels, and other such treasures.
"Eighteen Great Vajras, this is the Tai Huang Eight Treasures Palanquin!"
The instant he saw this Buddhist palanquin, Fayin Fayin Tongzi's heart gave a jolt.
This was an extremely famous palanquin within Tai Huang Heaven. Legend had it that it was the mount of the 'Zhao Zhao Xuanyuan Temple Master', the 'Zhao Zhao Xuanyuan Bodhisattva', of one of the Tian Liu Da Fa temples of Tai Huang Heaven. It had long since accumulated the Dao, possessing boundless mysterious and marvelous might.
"Zhao Zhao Xuanyuan Bodhisattva!"
Fayin Fayin Tongzi went out to meet them beyond the mountain. He strained his eyes to look into the distance, but could only faintly see, seated cross-legged within the curtained palanquin, a figure whose features could not be made out, looking like a Buddha statue in a temple.
Wuu wuu~
The Buddhist palanquin approached slowly, and of its own accord the sounds of ten thousand chanting Buddhas and sutras arose from the void, echoing and reverberating.
Amidst that Buddhist light and the sound of Buddhist sutras, Fayin Fayin Tongzi seemed to see Buddhist-law heavens upon heavens, with countless devout men and faithful women seated cross-legged within, chanting sutras and praising the Bodhisattva.
"I pay respects to the Bodhisattva!"
Fayin Fayin Tongzi performed a Buddhist salutation, and the Grandfather Kuhai Bell he was carrying also gave out a sound.
"Oh? It's you, Grandfather Kuhai. Mm, and there's a little red-eyed monkey too!"
The Buddhist palanquin stopped before Mount Mount Dongxuan, and a voice came from within the palanquin. Fayin Fayin Tongzi could feel an extremely terrifying gaze fall upon himself—had he not been holding the Grandfather Kuhai Bell in his hand, he could not have stood at all.
"The Dao Lord's Xing Gong is not yet complete, so he sent us to come welcome the Bodhisattva."
The Grandfather Kuhai Bell trembled lightly, and the deep voice rang out: "We ask the Bodhisattva to please move the palanquin and enter the mountain for tea."
"Dao brother, you are truly diligent."
A voice of praise came from within the palanquin: "Since it is so, this little monk shall not enter the mountain. Please convey it to the Dao brother on my behalf."
"In three hundred and thirty-three years, my Buddha wishes to lecture on sutras in the Great Brahma Heaven. The Dao Lord must not forget to attend."
……
……
"Hu!"
At the mountaintop, Li Yuan opened his eyes.
There was not a single book before him, but so long as he gripped the disciple token, with a slight focus of his spirit he could sense the hundred books he had borrowed.
A turn of his mind was enough to flip through any book, every character crystal clear.
"No wonder disciples of Mount Mount Dongxuan are rarely at the mountain gate. With this disciple token in hand, whether in the myriad heavens and domains or in alternate dimensions, one can connect with the Da Luo Catalogue at any time…"
Li Yuan was somewhat regretful. He had still been hoping to sense that Da Luo Catalogue, but after circling the scripture pavilion, he had not felt the aura of that supreme treasure.
Even though the scripture pavilion was within the Da Luo Catalogue itself.
"Mm, let me first look at the benefits for entry-level disciples of Mount Mount Dongxuan."
Li Yuan's mind stirred slightly, and gripping the disciple token, he began to flip through the hundred books he had borrowed.
First were the three hundred and twenty sect rules of Mount Mount Dongxuan, covering every aspect. Li Yuan did not find them excessive—many rules meant there was law, and where there was law, there was order.
"Gong Fa may not be transmitted to outsiders; disciples must not fight without cause, must not slaughter living beings, and must not unauthorizedly communicate or ally with evil gods... There are quite a few rules, yet they remain far from exhaustive."
Li Yuan committed the sect rules to his heart one by one, while also analyzing them.
In his view, these sect rules were somewhat lax: "Must not fight without cause" implied that fighting was not entirely forbidden, while "must not unauthorizedly communicate or ally with evil gods" raised the question—what exactly constituted "unauthorizedly"?
"There are quite a few loopholes to exploit in the sect rules… But then again, the current disciples of Mount Mount Dongxuan, even counting those auditing and nominally registered, don't even reach two hundred…"
After committing the sect rules to memory, Li Yuan only then began to flip through the 'Three Books for Registered Entry Disciples', the 'Three Books for Auditing Entry Disciples', and the 'Three Books for Inner-Chamber Entry Disciples'.
These nine books were more like benefits.
So long as one was a disciple of the corresponding rank, one could receive them, without Xu Yao Shan Gong.
Li Yuan looked through these nine books. Many of them overlapped, mainly being analyses of cultivation and some matters needing attention during cultivation.
Among them, the three essential elements of magic power were mentioned, but compared to what he already knew, far more detailed.
"Magic power is the foundation of the cultivator. Only magic power can transform divine patterns into divine prohibitions; only magic power can nurture and refine dharma treasures…"
"Magic power is divided into upper and lower grades. Those who cultivate 'Jue-character' and 'Fa-character' Gong Fa may obtain lower-grade magic power; those who cultivate 'Gong-character' Gong Fa may obtain Zhong Pin Fa; only those who cultivate 'Dian-character' and 'Jing-character' Gong Fa may De Shang Pin Fa…"
"The distinction between the grades of magic power lies in the divine prohibitions contained within…"
"Containing two Earth Fiend divine prohibitions and one Heavenly Gang divine prohibition makes it lower-grade magic power; containing twelve Earth Fiend and six Heavenly Gang makes it middle-grade magic power; containing thirty-six Earth Fiend and eighteen Heavenly Gang makes it upper-grade magic power!"
"All disciples must not blindly pursue the grade of their magic power—lower-grade magic power can also forge a divine furnace, condense a Jin Dan, and shape a magic ring…"
……
Regarding magic power, the accounts in the three books for registered disciples and auditing disciples were largely similar, but there were slight differences when it came to magic power itself.
"The grade of magic power determines the grade of the divine furnace, determines the grade of the Jin Dan—lower-grade magic power makes it difficult to cultivate a Zhong Shang Pin Jin Dan…"
"However, those without superior aptitude must not pursue upper-grade magic power."
Upon seeing this, Li Yuan could not help but flip open the relevant sections about magic power in the three introductory books, only to find yet more differences.
"Only upper-grade magic power can refine an upper-grade Jin Dan; only the Dharma Heaven shaped by an upper-grade Jin Dan can illuminate all realms…"
Li Yuan read thoughtfully, then continued on, and only then did he suddenly understand.
Mount Mount Dongxuan was not discriminating; rather, if those with insufficient aptitude pursued the grade of their magic power too aggressively, there was a great chance it would slow down their own cultivation.
The grade of magic power was indeed important, but the realm was equally important.
The book for inner disciples addressed this point in detail.
Cultivation in He Yi Jing begins with generating magic power, and eighty-one strands of magic power mark its completion.
"Take a cultivator of second-grade aptitude cultivating lower-grade magic power as an example—without the aid of fortune or spiritual pills, performing Yi Ri Xing Gong nine times a day yields one thread of magic power in a month, one strand in a year, one strand in ten years; practicing diligently without slack, eight hundred and ten years might be needed to reach the completion of He Yi Jing…"
"A He Yi Jing cultivator has a lifespan of one thousand years."
"Still this same person, without fortune or spiritual pills, performing Xing Gong nine times a day—if they cultivate Zhong Pin Fa, they would have no hope of completing He Yi Jing even if their lifespan were exhausted…"
"If Zhong Pin Fa is already like this, how much more so for upper-grade?"
……
The three introductory books devoted considerable space to this matter.
Li Yuan read very carefully; this was clearly written by a cultivator of extremely high attainment, and from such an elevated vantage point, the analysis of magic power was profoundly deep.
"Old Han has second-grade aptitude… by this senior's analysis, he should cultivate lower-grade magic power—even without the aid of spiritual pills, he would still have a chance to advance to the Divine Palace, but if he cultivates Zhong Pin Fa, then even with spiritual pills, he might not be able to advance to the Divine Palace…"
Li Yuan studied every word and sentence, and the more he read, the more impressed he became.
The one who wrote the three inner-disciple books must certainly have been at a very high realm; he had even clearly listed what aptitude should cultivate what magic power, and how many years would be needed to reach completion.
"Most of the manuals I saw when learning martial arts before were unfathomably mysterious; the reason is that many martial artists, even if their own realm is very high, find it hard to teach others—but this person is different…"
Li Yuan felt reverence in his heart:
"Knowing what it is and also knowing why it is—this is clearly an extraordinarily enlightened master; this person's familiarity with the Shen Qian Wu Jing is no less than my own understanding of the period before entering the Dao!"
He continued reading on.
The introductory disciple book listed things very clearly.
"Those without third-grade aptitude must not cultivate Zhong Pin Fa; even those with third-grade aptitude but insufficient family resources are not advised to do so…"
"Those with fifth-grade aptitude may cultivate upper-grade magic power, but they must daily swallow spiritual pills, daily consume spiritual rice, and daily diligently perform Xing Gong…"
……
At the very end, Li Yuan saw words that satisfied him.
"Divine Demon aptitude: cultivating any method is unobstructed."
"Divine Demon aptitude, cultivating lower-grade magic power—without spiritual pills or fortune, eighty-one strands of magic power can be refined in just eight years…"
"…Cultivating Zhong Pin Fa, even without pill assistance, requires only eighteen years to reach completion… cultivating upper-grade magic power takes no more than thirty years…"
The person who wrote this book was largely a proponent of innate talent; reading further on, Li Yuan could sense this person's great admiration for high-grade talent.
In fact, having read the whole thing through, it was hard for him to disagree.
"If Old Han had not taken the Three-Light Divine Water, he and I cultivating lower-grade magic power together—he would need eight hundred and ten years, while I would need only eight years to reach completion!"
Master Li did a quick calculation and immediately felt his mood greatly improve.
If he had been of second-grade aptitude, seeing this book might have caused qi deviation, but he was of Divine Demon-grade aptitude—was reading this book anything less than a pleasure?
He felt that all the pain from his earlier arduous body-shaping and the burning of the summoned divine fire had been worth it!
"Thirty years to cultivate upper-grade magic power to fullness—and if there is a sufficient supply of spiritual pills, the time can even be reduced by two-thirds; Divine Demon-grade aptitude is truly terrifying beyond compare!"
Even without the augmentation of the Weapon Registry, Li Yuan today was a genuine Divine Demon-grade aptitude—placed in any realm, he would be a world-shaking prodigy!
"If I again have the augmentation of the Weapon Registry, I might not even need ten years to cultivate upper-grade magic power!"
At this thought, Li Yuan nearly lost the mood to keep reading, so eager was he to immediately enter closed-door cultivation of magic power.
But he still pressed down the stirring in his heart and continued flipping through the other books.
Among the nine introductory disciple books, besides the analysis of magic power and various cultivation matters, there were also three books of spells.
They were respectively the registered disciples' 【Xing Yun Bu Yu Jue】, the auditing disciples' 【Gu Dao Bing Fa】, and the inner disciples' 【Ju San Wu Xing Bao Guang Gong】.
"Farming, cultivating Dao soldiers, and refining Dharma treasures… these should be the ways to earn Shan Gong, right?"
Li Yuan was very interested in the last book, but he still decided to finish reading all one hundred books first before considering anything else.
When it came to cultivation, Master Li had always been cautious.
With the augmentation of the 'Five Senses Set,' Li Yuan read very quickly, even dividing his attention a dozen ways; before long he had finished most of them and felt he had gained much.
"Oh? This one…"
Li Yuan's spirit trembled slightly, and his scattered attention immediately gathered into one:
"The path of true transmission for disciples of Mount Mount Dongxuan."
