Chapter 364: Second-Stage Counteroffensive

~6 min read 1,012 words

On the eastern battlefield, a massive white egg appeared before them.

This enormous egg resembled a white mushroom rooted into the planet, soft and fluffy like cotton candy, as white as snow.

It gave off a pure, sacred feeling, like an untouched blank sheet of paper.

This was the second stage entered after Belia’s personality was deleted.

“What is this thing?” All three fourth-transcenders froze, momentarily stunned.

Immediately, the Lunhuizhe ’s eyes flickered with a hint of dazed recognition—they felt this scene was eerily familiar.

“Who cares what it is! This inherently evil monster—I must destroy it!”

The Super Giant crossed his arms, and light-based skills surged once more along his limbs.

Vast, surging energy gathered, poised to obliterate the giant egg before him into fragments!

Meanwhile, the two Lunhuizhe who recalled the memory shuddered violently: “Wait! This damn thing is Ye Fu! Oh my god!!!”

In the Lunhuizhe ’s terrified gazes, the Super Giant’s accumulated energy reached its peak—about to unleash in the next instant.

At this critical moment, the Lunhuizhe piloting the modified Hunter Mech lunged forward, blocking the white egg with his body.

BOOM—

A torrent of energy slammed into the Hunter Mech, carving a deep dent into its heavy armor.

The residual force plowed across the ground for over a hundred meters, barely stopping before it reached the white egg.

“What are you doing?” the Super Giant asked, bewildered.

“This is Ye Fu!” another Lunhuizhe hurriedly explained. “Any damage inflicted on it returns as an identical attack! Its strength is unknown—it grows stronger the more you fight.”

“So if we don’t touch it, it’s harmless. There’s no need to interfere.”

Hearing this, the Super Giant hesitated and retracted his hands—then suddenly saw a black sphere appear out of nowhere, plummeting downward.

BOOM—

In the trembling pupils of the four men, the antimatter bomb detonated violently, flames and shockwaves spreading wildly, engulfing the entire white egg.

Then, from nowhere, the mocking voice of the King of Useless Things rang out:

“Idiot, if you won’t hit it, someone else will—doesn’t matter who. Once Ye Fu goes berserk, he’s always the same bastard.”

As the words ended, the white egg dissolved into smoke—and a monstrous roar erupted from within.

ROAR—

The next instant, a monster covered in searing burns stepped out of the flames, its grotesque head fixed on the three fourth-transcenders before it.

Simultaneously, numerous cannon barrels protruded from Ye Fu’s body.

These barrels continuously unleashed explosions, annihilating everything around them at every moment.

‘Damn it.’

The three fourth-transcenders’ faces darkened. The Super Giant growled: “What now? Does this thing have any weakness in the plot?”

Before he finished speaking, Ye Fu’s head turned toward the Super Giant and began charging.

Each step shook the earth, like a battleship cruising forward—the Super Giant’s face turned green.

Remembering the Lunhuizhe ’s warning—that Ye Fu could mimic and return any attack—the Super Giant dared not strike, instead spreading his arms to block the charge head-on.

Even so, he was slowly pushed backward, and the explosive shockwaves from Ye Fu’s body made him writhe in discomfort.

“Don’t worry—Ye Fu loves music. If you whistle at him, he probably won’t attack.” One Lunhuizhe said, still keeping his distance.

“Whistle? Is that even reliable?”

Facing Ye Fu’s relentless roars, the Super Giant had no choice: “Fine—I’ll trust you one more time.”

He began humming, imitating the style of the street musician he’d heard earlier.

But the moment he started, Ye Fu lunged and bit down hard on his shoulder—blood gushed violently from the wound, and the agony sent out a scream that shook the universe.

“Damn it! What the hell kind of Ye Fu is this? It’s just a fourth-transcender! I don’t believe I can’t kill you!”

After the music tactic failed, the Super Giant snapped completely—he kicked Ye Fu away with a powerful blow and unleashed a rain of light techniques upon him.

In an instant, chaotic energy currents scoured the area for over ten miles.

Within the raging vortex of destructive energy, Ye Fu’s body melted and shattered into fragments.

“Still not dead?” The Super Giant glowed with cold light: “Just a fourth-transcender—you really think you’re the original?”

Watching Ye Fu reduced to rubble, the two Lunhuizhe hesitated: “If it’s only a fourth-transcender, it should be dead by now.”

The answer was no.

Ye Fu’s Mindlight was at the fourth-transcender level, but it had fused with a portion of Fang Can’s cells, inheriting part of Fang Can’s [Unyielding Resilience].

Fang Can’s [Unyielding Resilience] had a maximum limit of ninth-transcender—so even a fraction of its effect was beyond the Super Giant’s capacity to counter.

Sure enough, within seconds, the damaged cells began rapidly proliferating under the guidance of the Mindlight.

In mere moments, Ye Fu’s body fully regenerated, then shifted into an even more grotesque form.

His hands became blades, hooks sprouted from his ribs, and wings grew from his back.

In an instant, a monstrous three-headed, six-armed creature roared toward the sky—energy surged along its thick tail, gathering at its three heads.

Then, from all three heads simultaneously, spiraling torrents of energy blasted forth, lancing toward the three fourth-transcenders!

……

On the western battlefield, the fourth-transcenders stared grimly at the five-meter-tall white sphere before them.

In their three-vs-one righteous mob attack, they had ignored every stupid joke from the King of Bird-Shit, easily inflicting heavy wounds upon him.

But then, the King of Bird-Shit transformed into a giant egg—and what would emerge from this egg now?

Before they could ponder, seconds later, a claw tore through the egg, and a dragon’s roar erupted from within.

“I shall rebuild my kingdom!”

The speaker was a five-meter-tall western dragon, eyes blood-red, body emerald-green.

“S…Saint Lord?” The two Lunhuizhe ’s expressions grew grim.

“Correct! No one has called me by that name in ages!” The Saint Lord lifted his dragon head, blood-red eyes locking onto the three warriors before him.

“Three against one, is it?”

The Saint Lord’s eyes turned icy as the Pig Talisman’s power activated—two golden lasers poured from his eyes.
