Chapter 110: Divine and Demonic Arrive, Qilin Enters the Arena
East Sea, Crystal Palace.
Zu Long returned to the Dragon Palace, delighted.
In high spirits, He strolled slowly, chanting: “Though the weak water flows three thousand, I take but one gourd to drink.”
“This gourd, soft and tender, graceful; that gourd, a gentle breeze arrives, refreshing; another gourd, majestic and unrestrained, utterly exhilarating…”
“Truly, the Dao is profound, endless in flavor.”
Zu Long closed his eyes, savoring each gourd of weak water.
He shook his head and swayed, stumbling as he sang wildly, drunk with ecstasy: “Here lies supreme bliss—too sublime to tell others!”
“Too sublime to tell others… Huh? What’s that noise?”
Zu Long felt a call from the Water Element Dao, instantly awakening, his dragon eyes blazing as he saw the truth at a glance.
“Oh? Someone’s opening heaven! Let’s go see!”
Zu Long laughed and immediately sent forth a thread of divine intent to answer the Water Element Dao’s call.
In the North Sea floated a vast, boundless continent, stretching beyond sight.
Within this continent, countless grottoes and blessed lands abounded; among the myriad mountains and ravines, deities dwelled; within rivers, lakes, and marshes, spiritual turtles rested.
At this moment, the Xuan Gui, unmoved for eons, suddenly opened its eyes.
It too sensed the aura of heaven-opening.
A grand, majestic Dao called to it, as if summoning its arrival.
“Opening heaven?”
The Xuan Gui vaguely glimpsed some scenes.
It immediately performed a divination of heavenly fate.
The heavenly fate revealed: Great Fortune!
“I don’t believe it.”
The Xuan Gui was too lazy to move, wanting to sleep until the end of time, utterly unmoved by temptation.
Moreover, it sensed in the unseen forces that some great being of Heavenly Fate had intervened.
This divination result was likely the opposite of truth.
“Actually, going wouldn’t hurt.”
Upon the divine peak where the turtle’s head rested lay a grotto world.
The master of this grotto was none other than the [Turtle-Snake Immortal]—Zhen Wu!
He wore disheveled hair and bare feet, draped in a black robe, golden armor and jade belt, sword at his waist, standing atop the clouds.
Sensing the Dao’s call, Zhen Wu was not afraid but gladly accepted the invitation.
“Friend, I depart!”
Zhen Wu moved with effortless grace, stepping through heaven and departing.
Soon after, the void of the North Sea echoed with the Song of the Dao.
“Rootless tree, flowers abound, blooming everywhere across the obstructing river. Hard to pluck, what can one do? Step by step, walking through the lair of dragon and tiger.
Collecting the yellow flowers, return to the grotto—three thousand Dao paths shall never fade. Laughing heartily, white clouds, prepare the heavenly ladder to ascend to Da Luo!”
“Go ahead, wander as you will.” Zhen Wu pressed forward despite the difficulty; the Xuan Gui had no reason to stop Him, so it closed its eyes and fell into deep slumber.
Whether Zhen Wu gets beaten depends entirely on how wildly He chooses to wander.
Ten Isles, Three Islands.
Amid the azure waves of the East Sea stood a sea-immortal mountain, appearing no larger than a palm’s width from afar, shaped like a pot—thus named [Fang Hu].
Here was the sacred ground of the [Tree-Planting Immortal], Dong Hua Di Jun.
At this moment, within the hidden grotto of Fang Hu, ten thousand rays of aurora filled the sky, colorful mists swaying, light unceasing.
Dong Hua Di Jun sat quietly in His sacred ground, calmly observing the transformations of the Zhou Tian, when suddenly He saw a flash of light in the void.
He pinched His fingers to calculate, “Huh? A Dao call from the same origin?”
“Strange indeed—who is so wasteful with their Mu Yi Dao?” Dong Hua Di Jun had also perceived the heaven-opening scene.
Should He respond to the call and manifest as a divine or demonic entity?
“Forget it, I’ll go take a look.”
An immortal flew out of Fang Hu Mountain, heading straight for the Chaos.
Southwest Wilds, deep within the Ten Thousand Mountains.
A tall elder was amusing a group of colorful little creatures beneath a green mulberry tree.
“Huh? The Dao of Gu?” Laowu, the Patriarch, flickered a glance of surprise.
Western Sands, within Ling Shan.
Jie Yin, beside the Merit Pool, wore a peculiar expression—He too had received the Dao’s call.
“Then, Qian Ti Dao Ren is off again on His alms-seeking journey.” Jie Yin chuckled and flew into the sky.
All heavens, myriad worlds, Jiu Ge Great World.
At the peak of Mount Tai stood a grand imperial court.
The Supreme Deity Tai Yi was holding a grand assembly.
All major divine bureaus had arrived at their sacred grounds: Si Ming, Si Lu, Si Huo, Si Jiu…
Also present: Dong Jun, Xiang Jun, Yun Zhong Jun, He Bo… “Strange, why isn’t Tian Fei here?”
Da Si Ming (Xiang Xuanqing’s alias) arrived on pure qi, gazing at the empty seat beside Tai Yi—where Tian Fei Ying Long should have sat.
“Tian Fei went to watch the heaven-opening,” said Xiao Si Ming (Meng Wu You’s alias), leaning close to whisper.
Ding!
Bells rang in succession.
“Alright, today’s assembly concerns the promotion of the [Yang De Tian Dao]… Hmm?”
Tai Yi, about to announce the assembly’s purpose, suddenly frowned.
“Divine and demonic?”
The lesser and greater deities of the divine court exchanged glances—they too had received the summons.
“Shall we all go take a look?”
Yun Zhong Jun (Hong Yun) suggested.
Xiang Jun (Zhen Yuanzi) nodded: “Tian Fei is there already.”
After a brief silence,
Tai Yi nodded: “Agreed!”
The Chaos Bell rang; space-time rippled.
The entire Tai Yi divine lineage poured forth en masse.
Across boundless heavens and endless cosmos, deities—some willingly, some involuntarily—arrived at the heaven-opening site.
Some merely came to watch the spectacle.
Others came solely to stir up trouble.
A vast torrent of calamity converged; thunder became an ocean, swirling into vortices, colors dazzling, layer upon layer, radiating an utterly terrifying aura.
“Here they come!”
In the Demon Heaven, the demon kings tensed.
Chaos thunder roared; the ten directions of void trembled.
At the heaven-opening site, blood-red whirlwinds raged, accompanied by black rain and ominous lightning.
Boundless waves surged—these were the rivers of time sweeping forth, countless rules tearing apart, like infinite volcanoes erupting.
“We come to meet the calamity, born with the tide.”
“Creators, face your doom.”
“Hahaha!!!!”
Wild laughter erupted; lights and shadows piled high as divine and demonic figures stepped from the void, charging toward Fu Xi and Nu Wa.
The divine-demonic entity representing the Dao of Extinction struck first.
It opened its palm; withered, decaying energy spread—time itself eroded, space collapsed rapidly, boundless chaos seemed overwhelmed, churning violently.
“Audacious!”
A sharp cry rang out; auspicious clouds rolled.
Yun Lu Shen Jun charged forth with sword in hand, cutting off the path of the Extinction Divine-Demon.
“Opening heaven and creating the world is an act of creation—how dare you act so recklessly!”
Yun Lu Shen Jun finally shouted the line he had memorized countless times.
“Wait—who are you?”
The Extinction Divine-Demon was baffled.
I’m fighting the creators—where did you come from?
“Who cares who I am?” Yun Lu Shen Jun was ecstatic, rushing forward to fiercely battle the Extinction Demon.
“Fu Xi friend, Nu Wa friend, rest assured—this one’s mine!”
The true names of the creators were now imprinted upon the void; all gods in heaven knew them.
“Troublemakers?”
Seeing this, other divine-demonic entities realized the situation and immediately prepared to gang up on Yun Lu Shen Jun.
"Audacious! Do you intend to overwhelm us with numbers?"
The thunderous beat of drums rang out, as vast, auspicious clouds enveloped the void.
One by one, the Divine Lords and the Qilin Kings stepped forward, their voices filled with fervor.
"This newborn world shall be guarded by us!"
"You bunch of gods and demons, don't get arrogant—dare to come at us if you have the courage!"
