Chapter 143: Another Netherworld, Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation (Bonus 18)

The Profound Heaven Pingyu Heaven, also known as the Infinite Great Universe.

Although the Radiant Divine Court now suppresses the heavens and governs the ten directions of the cosmos, it has always had a thorn in its side—the Nine Netherworlds.

The structure of the Profound Heaven Universe is highly similar to the Primordial World.

Billions of worlds are scattered like stars amidst the chaos, with ten great myriad worlds arching over the central world.

The Primordial World has the world pillar Mount Buzhou; the central world also has world pillars distributed across the five directions.

The Primordial World has four seas; the central world has them as well.

The Primordial World is divided into Yin and Yang realms; the central world is the same.

The Nine Netherworlds is the Netherworld of the central world.

Since the establishment of the Radiant Divine Court, it has always wanted to conquer the Nine Netherworlds to achieve its strategic goal of unifying the great world.

Unfortunately, although the Radiant Divine Court's dominion in the Yang realm has reached its peak, the ruler of the Nine Netherworlds, the Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation, is no ordinary figure.

He not only obtained complete control over the Nine Netherworlds but, bearing the immense pressure of the Radiant Divine Court, gradually established various Netherworld Administrations across the billions of worlds under the Profound Heaven Universe's jurisdiction.

Even though the Nine Netherworlds has been at a disadvantage in successive battles, and its Netherworld Administrations in the heavens are occasionally uprooted by the Divine Court, the Nine Netherworlds remains steadfast and has never been breached.

And as long as the Nine Netherworlds is not conquered by the Radiant Divine Court for a single day, the Netherworld Administrations in the Profound Heaven Universe will continue to sprout like bamboo shoots after rain.

"Infuriating, hateful!"

On the battlefield of the two realms, the Heavenly Sovereign of Zhu Ling Du Ming burned with rage.

"Fellow Daoist, what has made you so angry?"

In the distant space-time, a sky-supporting canopy rose, its divine light ethereal, wreathed in five-colored auspicious clouds. Tassels hung from the edges of the canopy, each thread like a dancing flame, swaying gently with the breeze.

A war chariot traversed the void, leaving a brilliant trail of light in its wake.

The Heavenly Sovereign of the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm arrived by chariot.

He was surrounded by thousands of attendants: Flowing Fire Divine Generals stood left and right with swords, Refinement Immortals followed before and behind, Cinnabar Fire Envoys cradled gourds, Fire Pool Boys held divine orders, and Fire Mansion Officials each clutched documents.

"I have received the Divine Emperor's decree to assist you, Fellow Daoist, in attacking the Nine Netherworlds." The Heavenly Sovereign of the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm wore a Flying Essence Jade Crown, robes of nine-colored clouds, and held a fire bell, sitting steadily beneath the canopy.

"You have come at the right time, Fellow Daoist!"

Zhu Ling Du Ming said: "While we were busy campaigning here, the Wheel-Zhuan Lun Sheng Wang secretly slipped away to the Eastern Great Myriad Universe to rebuild a Netherworld Administration. It is truly hateful!"

The Heavenly Sovereign of the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm laughed: "Fellow Daoist, there is no need for anger. Their actions are merely to delay time and disperse our forces."

"That may be so, but they must still be eradicated!"

The Heavenly Sovereign of Zhu Ling Du Ming said with a solemn expression: "The struggle for orthodoxy between the Yin and Yang realms allows for no slack. A moment of carelessness, and the Nine Netherworlds will find a loophole. Once they grow strong, we will be back to square one."

The Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm said: "Then let us apply pressure on the main battlefield to force them to return."

"Very well!"

The two Heavenly Sovereigns redeployed the battlefield and launched a new round of attacks on the Netherworld.

The Radiant Divine Court spread a net of heaven and earth, and countless envoys and divine generals surged toward the Nine Netherworlds like a tide.

"Nine Netherworlds, I know it is you controlling the battlefield. Come out and let's talk."

On the battlefield of the two realms, the booming Great Dao voice of the Heavenly Sovereign of the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm resounded.

"Pah! You traitor, do you still have the face to look for Brother Nine Netherworlds?"

On the Nine Netherworlds side, a massive phantom appeared in the sky, holding a deep blue sword, waving it lightly to clear the clouds, as boundless killing intent rolled in.

This was one of the four Heavenly Sovereigns of the Nine Netherworlds, the 【Heavenly Sovereign of Guang Du Jiu Ku】.

Upon seeing the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm, he retorted: "A creature as stupid as a pig or a dog, yet you dare come to the Nine Netherworlds to seek death?"

"If you still have a shred of conscience, get back to the Divine Court and don't let me see you again."

The Heavenly Sovereign of the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm was scolded by his old friend, but he was not angry, merely laughing: "Guang Du, you still have that bad temper!"

"Get lost!"

The 【Heavenly Sovereign of Guang Du Jiu Ku】 could not be bothered to waste words with him: "Seeing your smiling face makes me feel sick."

"Guang Du, the fate of your Nine Netherworlds is already sealed; there is no future!"

The Heavenly Sovereign of Zhu Ling Du Ming sneered: "Divine spirits must also know the times. Why not defect to my Divine Court? Otherwise, the day the Nine Netherworlds is destroyed will be the day you perish. There is absolutely no chance of a comeback!"

"You get lost too!"

The 【Heavenly Sovereign of Guang Du Jiu Ku】 pointed at the Heavenly Sovereign of Zhu Ling Du Ming and cursed: "What kind of black-and-white act are you putting on? Who do you think you are?"

"A running dog of the Chaos Demon Gods, a stupid donkey wallowing in degradation, a cheap wretch beyond salvation!"

"And you want to conquer the Nine Netherworlds? Come, come, why don't you try conquering it for me to see?"

"Don't make me look down on you!"

The voice of the 【Heavenly Sovereign of Guang Du Jiu Ku】 was loud and clear; on the battlefield of the two realms, thousands of divine spirits heard it clearly.

He was truly domineering; despite his majestic stature like a high-and-mighty emperor, he would still engage in a shouting match when looking down at an ant beneath his feet.

"Zhu Ling, don't think that just because you sold yourself to that Infinite old man, I will be afraid of you!"

"If you have the guts, invite him down to take a stroll in the Nine Netherworlds?"

The Heavenly Sovereign of Zhu Ling Du Ming had remained expressionless while listening to Guang Du curse him.

But when Guang Du cursed the existence behind him, he had to make a stand.

"Guang Du, how dare you be so rude?!"

Divine might was brilliant; the divine might of the Heavenly Sovereign of Zhu Ling Du Ming descended, and the expressions of the experts in the Netherworld changed drastically. Countless divine generals were pressed by the momentum, sweat the size of beans on their cheeks, and their straight spines were bent slightly.

But this kind of power could not shake the Heavenly Sovereign of Guang Du Jiu Ku in the slightest.

He stood there, slowly raising his head, looking at the massive giant, viewing his opponent as grass and mustard, and the gods as ants.

"Come and fight!"

"Is the Heavenly Sovereign just watching like this?"

In the Nine Netherworlds, one of the twenty-four Netherworld Administrations, the Yin Law Administration.

Meng Wu You, incarnated as the Administration Master, looked at the man who had arrived here.

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation. He was burly, his face majestic, the iron-blooded killing intent between his brows hard to conceal, wearing black battle armor, his inner momentum coiled to the extreme, seemingly ready to strike at any moment.

Yet, he was ultimately just watching the battle and had not taken action.

"They are not worth worrying about."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation had a deep gaze; his sight pierced through the firmament, seemingly locking eyes with a certain existence.

"Infinite old man?" Wu You followed his gaze, but did not see anything.

Pfft~~

The serious Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation laughed dumbly: "It is the Infinite old man!"

"An existence more insidious than the Radiant brat."

"Is he very strong?" Meng Wu You asked.

"Very strong."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation nodded: "A Great Da Da Luo Zhi Zun, you tell me if he is strong or not?"

"Ah?" Meng Wu You did not expect that she would know the background of that Great Luo in the Profound Heaven Universe so soon after arriving here.

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation thought she was surprised by the opponent's strength.

He laughed: "This old fellow is much harder to deal with than that Radiant fellow."

"The fact that my Nine Netherworlds can be suppressed by the Divine Court all this time is entirely his credit."

"Then the Heavenly Sovereign of the Fire-Refined Alchemy Realm?" Meng Wu You heard that "traitor" remark.

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation shook his head: "Gods have their own aspirations."

"Once, Fire-Refined was the companion who had been with me the longest; we founded the twenty-four Netherworld Administrations together."

"It's a pity, after that Infinite old man attained the Great Luo Dao, he saw no hope and left."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation recalled the past, but his emotions did not fluctuate much.

"I don't blame him; over these years, because of my persistence, the companions around me have become fewer and fewer."

"And after that Infinite old man attained the Great Luo Dao, the ending of my Nine Netherworlds seemed to be set."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation looked at Meng Wu You and smiled: "I don't fear you laughing at me, if it weren't for my origin, which does not allow me to bow to the Chaos Demon Gods."

"Perhaps I would have given up long ago and led the twenty-four Netherworld Administrations of the Nine Netherworlds to submit to the Divine Court."

"You're joking." Meng Wu You did not take it seriously.

This man gave her a feeling very much like another Xiang Xuanqing.

She did not believe that "Xiang Xuanqing" would bow to anyone.

"I am not joking."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation sighed deeply, "It is because I truly cannot hold on anymore."

"If I hadn't met you, Fellow Daoist, I would have already started activating my backup plan to send my followers away from the Infinite Universe."

"I cannot win against a Great Da Da Luo Zhi Zun here either." Meng Wu You spoke the truth; if it were only her, she might act as a spectator, witnessing the curtain call of the Nine Netherworlds.

"But you are not alone, are you?"

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation stared deeply at Meng Wu You, his words almost certain.

"What did the Heavenly Sovereign see?" Meng Wu You asked.

The origin of the Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation is very unusual; he governs the Nine Netherworlds and established the Netherworld Administrations, and many of his ideas coincide exactly with Xiang Xuanqing's plans.

Some things were too coincidental.

So much so that Meng Wu You suspected the other party was Xiang Xuanqing's alternate account.

But later she found out it wasn't.

The reason was simple.

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation was too serious.

"I saw a lot, some good, some bad."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation's gaze pierced through layers of fog, looking into the distant future: "But I cannot be sure if this is a false future released to me by that Infinite old man."

"Before the Innate, the Great Da Da Luo Zhi Zun, the supreme power he possesses is something I cannot predict."

"Then let us wait patiently."

Meng Wu You said so, her tone leisurely and very calm.

"Or the Heavenly Sovereign could try my plan, targeting the Divine Court's faith, and dig into the Incense Divine Dao?"

"I have already let the Wheel-Zhuan Lun Sheng Wang start pushing this matter."

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation nodded: "I hope there will be a good result."

If this matter succeeds, it could extend the life of the Nine Netherworlds.

"Uh... actually, it might be a bad result."

Meng Wu You said hesitantly: "The Incense Divine Dao is competing for faith with the Divine Court; this is shaking the foundation of the Divine Court. If it is discovered, then I think the Divine Court will spare no effort to attack the Nine Netherworlds."

"At that time, the pressure the Heavenly Sovereign faces might increase greatly. If that Infinite old man senses external forces interfering, he might strike with full force."

"If the Nine Netherworlds' backup plan cannot hold, then my people might not be able to provide support in time, and the Nine Netherworlds will likely die a violent death..."

As Wu You spoke, the atmosphere around them suddenly became silent.

The Heavenly Sovereign of Nine Netherworlds Expiation looked at her with deep eyes.

"Cough cough~~"

Meng Wu You looked away and coughed lightly: "This is a reasonable speculation, a reasonable speculation!"

"It might not necessarily happen."

"What if they explode from within first?"

The other two guys are currently missing; who knows what they are plotting?
