Happy Children’s Day! (Summary and Thanks)

Happy Children’s Day! (Summary and Thanks)

Xiao Jun must begin with a blessing:

My dears, happy holiday!

Wishing everyone eternal youth, health, happiness, and boundless energy!

Next is the summary section:

1. Regarding updates

Throughout May, Xiao Jun took two days off and completed 220,000 characters of updates, with 11 days of explosive updates; the update volume still falls short, as eight bonus chapters remain unpaid.

Many thanks to everyone for your monthly ticket support—the total reached ten thousand tickets, so May’s bonus chapters total ten.

Hmm, still eighteen bonus chapters! (Damn, another 18+!)

Next month, I’ll keep pushing hard to break the limit!

2. Regarding plot

Some readers thought the story was nearing its end last couple days—no need to worry; this novel still has a long way to go.

Volume One is “The Age of Gods,” Volume Two is “The Great Dao Faces Heaven,” and Volume Three is “The Dao Emerges from Yuan Shi.”

Once Xiang Xuanqing steps down, Volume Three will begin!

This volume will absolutely feature plenty of antics.

Also, the exploration of mythological stories will not stop.

The goddess Nü Wa described in the opening of Volume One as “crossing the way and dwelling” is surely memorable.

And the flexible-minded Xiang Gu zhi Shi—many readers guessed whether he was Xiang Xuanqing; today’s answer: no. This character is drawn from the Shan Hai Jing: “Within the Northern Sea, there is a captive bound in shackles, wielding a halberd, perpetually rebellious, named Xiang Gu zhi Shi.”

Translation: Within the Northern Sea, there is a prisoner bound in restraints, carrying a halberd, constantly rebellious, named Xiang Gu zhi Shi.

When I first read this, I instinctively felt this “constantly rebellious” Xiang Gu zhi Shi matched the novel’s irreverent tone perfectly.

After all, which respectable deity would constantly betray?

So I assigned him as Shen Ni’s partner.

In the next volume, I’ll continue compiling entertaining mythological material—for instance, writing amusingly violent little tales about the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors.

Everyone can look forward to it.

3. Acknowledgments

Sincere thanks to all readers who read, subscribe, tip, vote, comment, and check in!

Your genuine interactions are the wellspring of Xiao Jun’s creative drive!

I hope that in the coming creative journey, Xiao Jun can still bring you joy.

That concludes the May summary.

My dears, let’s welcome joyful June together!
