Now that Maitreya had arrived, he could no longer sit idly by. He stood up and confronted this Future Buddha Ancestor.

Maitreya, facing the formidable presence of Demon King Niumo, did not show the slightest change in expression, maintaining a face filled with compassionate smiles.

"Amitabha Buddha, do not persist in your delusion. The sea of suffering is boundless; turning back is the shore!" Maitreya said solemnly, and as he spoke, golden light radiated intensely, illuminating the entire sky in gold, creating a striking sight.

Surrounded by Arhats, Gālan, and protectors, they too bowed their heads and chanted the Buddha’s name.

The brilliant Buddha’s Light bloomed over the land, and magnificent chanting sounds reverberated through the skies, turning the place into a vision of Buddha Land.

Such might had never been seen by the monsters that grew up in the mountains and forests, leaving them trembling.

With a hint of fear in their eyes, they looked up at the people of the Buddhist Sect in the sky, feeling the power of the Buddhist Sect for the first time.

To them, the Buddhist Sect had always been but a distant name, after all, the environment in which they grew had weak influence from the Buddhist Sect.

Even if there were well-established temples, they were merely places where ascetic monks had preached in the past, now managed by ordinary monks.

Therefore, in their hearts, there was no real understanding of the strength of the Buddhist Sect.

Thus, under the encouragement of the Demon King, they firmly believed they could win and fought with great determination.

But after seeing today’s lineup, these monsters felt a sense of cowardice; their strength was simply overwhelming.

Demon King Niumo, sensing the change in the atmosphere around him, knew he had to respond or else the morale would be lost.

"Such an overbearing Buddhist Sect," laughed Demon King Niumo, as he employed his Divine Skills.

Suddenly, he transformed into a giant reaching the skies, brandishing an iron rod, looking awesome and majestic.

The Divine Skill Law of Heaven and Earth—Demon King Niumo’s proudest ability, and one that is feared across the Three Realms.

In this state, Demon King Niumo’s mana became inexhaustible, and his body impervious to blade and spear.

Swinging the iron rod, the giant weapon cleaved through the heavens, and the violent winds it stirred sent Buddhist Soldiers scattering, as his potent Demon Qi swept across all directions, even dimming the golden Buddha’s Light.

Demon King Niumo displayed his divine might, breaking through the Buddhist lines with ease, as if in an uninhabited land, leaving the monsters below stupefied.

It was only at this point that they understood why the title of Great Sage Pingtian was no empty honor; his power was truly formidable.

Lin Fang watched the battlefield without blinking, coveting the Divine Skill Law of Heaven and Earth. Unfortunately, he had last drawn the Giant Spirit God’s talent, which also involved transforming into a giant, but it was far inferior compared to the Divine Skill Law of Heaven and Earth.

However, he had saved up many chances to draw prizes and hoped that this time he could defy fate and draw several powerful Divine Skills to enhance himself.

Tieshan Princess, standing by, showed a flash of worry on her face. After all, they had been married for many years, and although the love was gone, she did not wish to see his downfall.

In the skies, numerous Arhats attacked Demon King Niumo, their various spells hitting him but unable to penetrate his defenses, despite the noise they made.

Yet, Demon King Niumo fought even more fiercely. His Mixed Iron Staff moved like a Flood Dragon, causing countless Arhat Protectors to scatter in retreat, and with his sole strength, he turned the Buddhist camp upside down.

Seeing this, Maitreya’s face remained filled with smiles as he pointed to the battling Demon King Niumo below, "How do you all perceive this monster?"

"Reporting to Buddha, this monster is powerful; I’m afraid the protectors are not his match," replied an Arhat who stood up. A Golden Dragon writhed beside him, baring its fangs and claws.

"This monster can perform the Law of Heaven and Earth, a Divine Skill that shakes the Three Realms. It is indeed well-deserved. Descending Dragon, go down and meet him for a while," Maitreya said with a smile.

"Receive the decree!" The Descending Dragon Arhat bowed very respectfully, then leapt down from the cloud.

Looking at King Niumo, who was exerting tremendous divine power, the Descending Dragon Arhat shouted loudly, "Stop your wildness, monster; behold, I, the Descending Dragon, have come to meet you."

The golden dragon released from his hand twisted its body in mid-air and instantly grew in size, as if announcing itself to Heaven and Earth. With a roar, the sky was filled with white clouds.

Clouds follow the dragon, and wind follows the tiger. When the True Dragon appears, white clouds naturally accompany it.

The Descending Dragon Arhat rushed to King Niumo’s side with a swiftness that outran thunder and tightly ensnared him.

King Niumo grabbed and tore at the golden dragon with force, and with a pitiful cry, the True Dragon was thrown to the side, already showing traces of blood seeping through.

But in the instant they had just clashed, the True Dragon was already injured.

At that moment, the Descending Dragon Arhat arrived as well. Without a second word, he revealed his Golden Body, towering majestically, but unfortunately, he seemed somewhat small in front of the towering King Niumo.

He pulled out his weapon, a Zen Staff, and struck at King Niumo with it.

Their weapons collided mid-air, creating a colossal noise that echoed through the heavens. The powerful blast swept through the area, lifting countless trees and rocks.

The little demons hiding in the forest had never seen such a terrifying scene and were scared into fleeing.

"Subduing Tiger, you go down. Don’t let these monsters escape and cause chaos in the Mortal World," Maitreya instructed the Subduing Tiger Arhat as he pointed at the scattering little demons below.

"Receive the decree." Subduing Tiger bowed to Maitreya, then slowly descended on his vivid tiger.

In his hand appeared a golden Alms Bowl, from which Buddha’s Light sprang forth. Subduing Tiger softly said, "Those who are destined to join me, enter into my Alms Bowl."

Numerous little demons were pulled by the golden Buddha’s Light and were gathered into the Alms Bowl, which made many monsters tremble with fear.

Just then, a silver arrow shot out from the depths of the forest with tremendous force.

The Subduing Tiger Arhat casually tilted his head and dodged the swiftly approaching arrow.

Turning his head, he saw a fox demon with handsome features and a slender figure holding a bow and arrows, appearing in the depth of the forest.

"Are you Hu Er, who serves under King Niumo?" the Descending Dragon Arhat inquired curiously.

As the commander on the front lines, he was well aware of these powerful members of the Demon Clan active on the battlefield, so he instantly recognized the identity of the newcomer.

"It is I!" Hu Er replied coldly, his voice carrying a hint of bone-chilling coldness.

In the midst of their conversation, arrows rained down like a downpour, ceaselessly attacking the Subduing Tiger Arhat with great force.

However, the Subduing Tiger Arhat was smiling. His mighty tiger moved like a phantom, evading the incoming sharp arrows one by one.

The fearsome arrows fell to the ground, exploding on impact, reducing trees and the land to ruin.

"Cease!" The Subduing Tiger Arhat held his palm high, and a resplendent swastika gleamed on it. Bathed in the golden light, Hu Er suddenly found himself unable to move.

The mysterious swastika seemed to possess a terrible power that bound him to the spot.

"Hu Er, will you not convert to Buddhism?" the Subduing Tiger Arhat said with authority.
