Chapter 151: Sweeping Credits

Early the next morning, Li Fei walked into the mission hall again, went straight to the second floor, and asked the staff member from yesterday:

"Hello, is there any news about my custom service?"

"Hello, student. There is already a result for your custom service."

This time, the look in the staff member's eyes when looking at Li Fei was different from yesterday, and his tone became more respectful.

Custom services usually take three days to give results, but Li Fei's custom service was only submitted yesterday and already had a result today, indicating that the school attached great importance to this.

"The three types of implants you want require a total of 80 credits and 12,000 yuan to exchange."

The staff member said to Li Fei.

"80 credits?"

Li Fei nodded.

He could immediately take out 12,000 yuan, but 80 credits were a bit difficult.

"Alright, thank you. I need to exchange for one Qi-Combining Pill now."

Li Fei said.

The Qi-Combining Pill is a pill used by peak Body Breaking stage martial artists to break through their realm after their intent and power have been polished.

From the Body Breaking stage to the Qi Transformation stage, as long as they are not martial artists on the 'breaking mental barriers' path, they all need to use pills to assist in breaking through the realm.

There are many types of breakthrough pills, and the Qi-Combining Pill is the one with a relatively higher success rate, and only a place like the Martial University can directly exchange for it.

Of course, the price is not cheap either.

"One Qi-Combining Pill requires 20 credits and 1,500 yuan."

"Alright."

Li Fei handed over his student ID and then handed over a stack of banknotes.

He wanted the outside world to see him break through from the Body Breaking stage to the Qi Transformation stage, so the necessary process had to be complete, which is why a breakthrough pill was indispensable.

Fortunately, a pill like the Qi-Combining Pill is priceless in the outside world, so he didn't have to worry about wasting it.

More than ten minutes later, the staff member handed a wooden box to Li Fei.

Inside the wooden box was a very exquisite small medicine bottle, and inside the medicine bottle was the Qi-Combining Pill.

"Thank you."

Li Fei picked up the wooden box, thanked the staff member politely, and stood up to leave.

Soon, the news that he had purchased a Qi-Combining Pill was known by a group of top brass at the Martial University.

"What is he buying those three implants for? They are all rare spell-system implants. Does he want to cultivate spells?"

"Even if he wants to cultivate spells, there's no need to buy three types at once, and they aren't a set. They should be bought for someone else."

"For whom?"

"He still has a teacher and a martial aunt in Xingcheng."

"Spending 80 credits to buy things for others, isn't this delaying his cultivation?"

"As long as he has the strength to get so many credits, it's fine."

"Should we manage it?"

"Let's wait and see."

"..."

So, under a certain consensus, no one at the Martial University stood up to point fingers at Li Fei, but instead quietly watched him toss and turn.

"80 credits..."

After finishing the poison class with Mo Yizhou in the morning, Li Fei returned to his dormitory and began to ponder how to get 80 credits in a short time.

The 'graduation line' set by the Martial University for students is 60 points, which already makes many students unable to graduate smoothly and eventually have to drop out helplessly because they cannot afford the rising tuition fees every year.

For the vast majority of students, 60 credits is not an easy score to obtain. Students who can get 60 credits within four years are already considered excellent students at the Martial University.

And Li Fei now wants to get 80 points!

He had just spent 20 credits to exchange for the Qi-Combining Pill, leaving him with 9 credits he could use.

"Being at the top of the Martial Artist Combat Power Ranking can get 20 credits per month. Even if I can reach the top of the ranking this month, I still need to wait several months to gather enough credits."

"As for doing missions, the vast majority are group missions, and the credits for individual missions are generally low. It is estimated that it will take several months to gather 80 credits."

"In this way, only the options of breaking through the realm and passing course assessments remain."

Li Fei calculated the methods to obtain credits.

As long as he wants, he can 'break through the realm' at any time. According to the regulations of the Martial University, students who break through from the Body Breaking stage to the Qi Transformation stage can immediately obtain 20 credits.

But 20 credits are far from enough, so Li Fei began to carefully study the course schedule in his hand.

The course schedule has the 'threshold score' for each course, as well as the credits that can be obtained after passing the assessment.

After studying the course schedule, Li Fei had a preliminary plan.

That afternoon, he didn't continue to go to the arena but came to a small playground.

This was the location for a basic saber technique course.

At this moment, there were only a dozen students on the playground, because the instructor teaching this basic saber technique course was a special-grade instructor, and there were not many students with enough credits to sign up for his course, and even fewer who still needed to build a foundation.

When these students saw Li Fei, they were all stunned for a moment, and then discussed among themselves:

"He chose this course?"

"I went to the arena yesterday to watch; his saber technique is very powerful."

"Then why does he still need to come to take a basic course?"

"Such a genius, who knows what he's thinking."

"..."

Amidst the crowd's discussion, Li Fei walked toward the special-grade instructor standing on the side:

"Hello, Teacher Zhao. May I apply for an assessment?"

Zhao Ping looked at Li Fei: "Are you here to get credits?"

Li Fei saluted the other party: "I hope you will forgive me."

"Haha, there's nothing to forgive or not forgive. I set up an assessment for my course; as long as you have the ability to pass, feel free to take the credits."

Zhao Ping smiled.

He glanced at the other students: "You guys can just watch as well."

Having said that, he walked toward the weapon rack on the side, picked up two steel sabers, and threw one to Li Fei:

"My assessment here is very simple; as long as you can force me to defend with your saber technique for one move, you will pass the assessment. You must not use extraordinary abilities during the assessment, and I will control my strength level to the Body Breaking stage."

Li Fei took the steel saber and nodded at Zhao Ping:

"The student understands."

"You can begin."

Zhao Ping said to Li Fei.

So Li Fei stepped toward Zhao Ping, then slashed diagonally with his saber, and a Rolling Thunder style was slashed out.

Zhao Ping slashed almost at the same time, also a diagonal slash, and the two blade edges collided fiercely halfway.

Clang—

Sparks flew, and a notch was collided out on the blades of both sides.

Zhao Ping flicked his wrist, calmly resolving the vibrating force brought by the Rolling Thunder style, and then the blade turned and slashed toward Li Fei's chest.

Li Fei completed the move change almost at the same time; his blade edge was close to Zhao Ping's blade edge, pushing forward horizontally!

"Good!"

Zhao Ping's eyes lit up, praising the Mountain-Pushing style Li Fei connected.

He immediately turned his wrist, raised his arm, and blocked the blade edge Li Fei pushed over by holding the saber body vertically in front of him. The two steel sabers crossed horizontally and vertically, rubbing out a patch of sparks again.

"Many thanks, Teacher Zhao."

Li Fei retracted his saber, stepped back, and saluted Zhao Ping.

Until this moment, the dozen students watching on the side reacted and made exclamations.

The exchange between the two just now happened in a flash; the moves were fast, and the move changes were even faster!

Before they could react, the two had already dismantled two moves.

Li Fei only used two moves to force Zhao Ping to retract his saber and defend!

It's not that Zhao Ping, the special-grade instructor who specifically teaches saber techniques, has poor saber technique, but that when the speed and strength are not much different, and one cannot use Innate One Qi and force, it is not so easy for him to suppress Li Fei with saber technique.

After all, Li Fei had been taught by Hao Yi for so long, so he wouldn't fail a basic assessment.

And saying that one cannot use extraordinary abilities, in fact, in the exchange just now, Li Fei still used 'Danger Perception', which allowed him to pass the assessment within two moves.

"You have already passed the assessment for my course; give me your student ID."

Zhao Ping said to Li Fei.

Li Fei handed over his student ID with both hands.

Zhao Ping walked to the side, recorded a line of content on Li Fei's student ID with a pen, and added 8 points.

For his basic saber technique course, passing the assessment can earn 8 credits.

After getting 8 credits, Li Fei continued to the next location.

Soon, he came to another playground.

This was the location for a practical combat course.

The teacher teaching was also a special-grade instructor, and this practical combat course was only aimed at Body Breaking stage martial artists. If it were a martial master or a force-refining martial master, they would have to take other practical combat courses.

This is why Li Fei didn't rush to 'break through the realm'.

He intended to take all the credits he could get in the martial artist stage first!

"Hello, Teacher. May I apply for an assessment?"

Li Fei found the special-grade instructor teaching this martial artist practical combat course and asked.

The other party also agreed to Li Fei's assessment application very straightforwardly.

The assessment method for this practical combat course was also very simple; it only required Li Fei to be able to hold on for ten moves in the hands of the special-grade instructor teaching it to pass the assessment.

This special-grade instructor would also suppress his strength to the martial artist level, but he would use extraordinary abilities.

The assessment began soon. Facing the special-grade instructor with a variant thunder-attribute implant, Li Fei relied on 'Tyrant Body' to resist the other party's lightning attack, plus 'Danger Perception' for defense, and finally successfully held on for ten moves, passing the assessment.

After passing the assessment for this practical combat course, Li Fei got 12 credits.

Up to this point, Li Fei had gained 20 credits in one day!

At 6 PM that night, the credit ranking was updated.

A crowd of students was surprised to find that Li Fei's ranking had risen by a large margin, from 87th to 29th!

For the students who had just enrolled, if they wanted to pass the course assessment, they would have to study for at least a year or a half to have a chance. Even those students who were admitted through special recruitment and had good strength themselves could not pass the course assessment as easily as Li Fei.

However, Li Fei's 'sweeping credits' behavior had not ended.

The next day, he still went to Mo Yizhou's poison class in the morning.

After class, he waited for more than 20 minutes and walked into another classroom.

This classroom was where 'Detailed Explanation of Metal-Attribute Implant Control' was taught. This course was opened by a first-grade instructor and was also a course specifically aimed at Body Breaking stage martial artists.

"Li Fei?"

The first-grade instructor teaching was a woman in her thirties. She showed a smile after seeing Li Fei walk into the classroom.

"Hello, Teacher Zhou."

Li Fei saluted the other party.

Zhou Qian looked at Li Fei with interest: "Are you here to apply for an assessment?"

"Yes."

Li Fei nodded.

At this moment, the other students sitting in the classroom had already exploded.

Yesterday, many of them were still discussing this legendary freshman, and today they saw him at close range.

"Good, your implant is a second-grade superior 【Steel Armor】?"

Zhou Qian continued to ask.

Li Fei nodded: "Yes."

"Wow, second-grade superior!"

"No wonder he's so powerful!"

"..."

The students in the classroom had another round of discussion.

"Alright, quiet."

Zhou Qian first let the others be quiet, then looked at Li Fei and smiled:

"For my course, the assessment content is very simple; as long as you can successfully control the implant in your body to continuously activate extraordinary abilities ten times under strong interference, you will pass the assessment. Your implant is second-grade superior, so the interference you receive will also be stronger. Do you understand?"

"The student understands."

Li Fei saluted Zhou Qian, "Please start the assessment, Teacher."

Zhou Qian nodded with satisfaction, took out a medicine bottle from the drawer, and handed it to Li Fei:

"This is the Gold-Melting Pill; take five pills, wait five minutes, and then you can begin."

Hearing this, the students in the classroom couldn't sit still again:

"Damn, taking five pills at once, that's too ruthless!"

"Could Teacher Zhou have a grudge against Li Fei?"

"Taking five Gold-Melting Pills, who can still control the implant normally?"

"..."

Among the students present, many had tried to pass the assessment before, but without exception, they all failed.

The Gold-Melting Pill is a drug that causes strong interference with metal-attribute implants. Taking one pill would make many Body Breaking stage martial artists 'lose all their martial arts', let alone taking five pills at once!

So many students felt that Zhou Qian had an opinion about Li Fei, which is why she deliberately set such a difficult assessment.

Zhou Qian looked up and glared at the other students, immediately making everyone shut up, not daring to speak again, for fear that their assessment would also be taking five Gold-Melting Pills in the future.

Li Fei didn't hesitate, picked up the small medicine bottle on the table, poured out five Gold-Melting Pills, and swallowed them in one gulp.

Afterward, he stood in place and waited quietly for five minutes for the drug to take effect in his body.

He could actually directly use the Ten Thousand Blood Pearl to absorb the drug effect, so let alone five Gold-Melting Pills, even if he took fifty, it wouldn't have any effect on him.

But he wanted to see his true level of control over the implant, so he took the initiative to cut off the connection with the Ten Thousand Blood Pearl.

Five minutes later, Li Fei felt the 【Steel Armor】 implant fall into a 'manic' state, took a deep breath, and began to activate 'Tyrant Body'.

If it was as simple as picking up a cup to drink water when activating 'Tyrant Body' under normal circumstances, then at this time, the 'cup' became heavier, and his hands were also trembling constantly, somewhat disobedient.

However, this still couldn't stump Li Fei.

He successfully activated 'Tyrant Body', and after the 'Tyrant Body' time ended, he continued to activate 'Tyrant Body' without stopping, repeating this ten times.

Breaking through the realm by the 'breaking mental barriers' method, Li Fei's intent and power far exceeded martial masters in the same realm, and his control over the implant was naturally the same, so this kind of assessment was not difficult for him.

"Very good."

Seeing Li Fei successfully complete the assessment, Zhou Qian nodded with satisfaction.

She let Li Fei take five Gold-Melting Pills, which was indeed intentional; she just wanted to see to what extent this legendary genius who had become famous could do.

"It seems you are not far from breaking through the realm. Congratulations."

Zhou Qian said to Li Fei.

After speaking, she asked Li Fei for his student ID and recorded 15 credits on it.

Today, Li Fei got another 15 credits!

After he left Zhou Qian's classroom, he went to the next classroom...
