Chapter 112: Luo Li Arrives

~11 min read 2,110 words

Spatial tunnel.

“Everyone, we’re about to pass through the final spatial storm and reach the other world! Prepare yourselves—I’m going to burst through!”

“Understood!” x7

Luo Li piloted the [Nirvana], weaving through the spatial storm, her gaze resolute, her expression stern.

She knew the importance of this journey, and a strange surge of excitement stirred within her.

In the other world she was about to reach, she would reunite with Bai Yue and bring him home.

The roar of the [Nirvana] deafened the air, like the cry of a phoenix echoing through the cosmos, charging forward without fear of the spatial storm’s barriers!

Demon Slayer world.

One month later, within Infinity Castle.

For Muzan Kibutsuji, the past month had been the most difficult of his life.

Since the moment Upper Moon One Kokushibo died, his fear of Zero had grown even deeper!

Now, of the Twelve Ketsueki, only Muichiro remained as an Upper Moon demon.

Nevertheless, Muzan Kibutsuji had not abandoned his search for the Demon Slayer Corps’ headquarters.

He once again infused Muichiro with his own blood for absorption, and at night sent out more of his cloned eyeballs to scour the land for the headquarters’ location.

Moreover, Muzan Kibutsuji was preparing a major move.

A month had passed since the Judgment of Gyuujirou.

During this time, the swordsmen who participated in the Pillar training had achieved unprecedented growth in strength!

Most notably, the three young ones—Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu—drew the most attention.

Tanjiro’s strength had reached the [Class A] tier.

Zenitsu, upon learning of his senior brother Gyuujirou’s betrayal, was utterly shocked and struggled to accept it.

When he learned of Gyuujirou’s deeds, he could hardly believe it—his most revered senior brother had become such a person…

Had it not been for the comfort of his grandfather, Sangdao Ciwulang, and the encouragement of his companions, he might have remained sunk in despair.

Butterfly House.

In the basement.

The Butterfly sisters and Zhu Shi stared at the three new drugs they had developed, and for the first time, smiles of relief appeared on their faces.

Based on Muzan Kibutsuji’s abilities, Zhu Shi believed the drug to restore humans was far from sufficient to oppose him.

Thus, through their combined efforts, they developed three additional drugs.

One could accelerate Muzan Kibutsuji’s bodily aging.

Another could prevent Muzan Kibutsuji from splitting.

And the final one could destroy Muzan Kibutsuji’s cells.

Once Muzan Kibutsuji absorbed the drugs, they could simply stall him and wait.

After all, if Muzan Kibutsuji sensed something amiss, he would surely retreat to Infinity Castle!

Then, hiding and slowly breaking down the drugs would not be impossible!

But now a new problem had arisen.

How could they make Muzan Kibutsuji absorb these drugs into his body?

Muzan Kibutsuji was no proud warrior, nor a human driven by emotion.

Muzan Kibutsuji was merely a lifeform obsessed with survival.

When his life was threatened, he would inevitably prioritize self-preservation.

“Leave this to me! I will use myself as bait, carrying these drugs, and let Muzan Kibutsuji swallow me whole!”

Zhu Shi proposed her solution.

In her eyes, it was the only viable option.

Yet, the Butterfly sisters immediately stopped her!

“No! This plan is absolutely unacceptable!” Hu Die Ren said.

Through two months of interaction, she had moved from initial rejection to acceptance of Zhu Shi.

Learning of Zhu Shi’s past and her actions, Hu Die Ren admired her—and felt deep pity.

Xiang Nai Hui felt the same.

Finally, Xiang Nai Hui suggested: “Why not wait until Zero returns? I’m sure he’ll have a solution.”

“Zero… alright, then we’ll wait for him to return before deciding.”

At the mention of Zero, Zhu Shi’s eyes revealed an unusual emotion—but quickly concealed it.

Xiang Nai Hui noticed this, but said nothing.

BOOM!

The Butterfly sisters and Zhu Shi heard a tremendous thunderclap outside the Butterfly House.

Worried something had happened, they rushed out to investigate.

Zhu Shi also pulled on her black cloak, covering herself completely from head to toe to shield from sunlight.

When they stepped outside, they saw the strange sight in the sky—and were left speechless with awe.

The sky was darkened by clouds, blocking even the sun, occasionally shaking with lightning and thunder!

GURR!

As if enduring unbearable torment, faintly, they seemed to see some energy breaking through a boundary!

But what followed filled them with even greater dread and terror!

The sky split open like a tear, revealing a massive vortex.

The vortex widened rapidly—and from within, a red object slowly emerged.

It looked like a head.

Only when the red object fully revealed itself did they recognize its form.

Outside was a transparent red eggshell; inside, a colossal steel bird.

Yet its structure reminded some of Zero’s device!

Ubuyashiki Yōya, watching from his mansion, gasped: “A celestial visitor… has arrived…!!”

When the steel bird fully appeared above the Demon Slayer Corps’ headquarters, everyone felt its overwhelming pressure more clearly!

And its massive size occupied at least one-third of the headquarters’ area.

“We’ve arrived in the other world—the Demon Slayer world. Xiao Yun, try to contact T0.” Luo Li instructed.

“Yes, Xiao Li sister!”

But before Bai Yun could act, a message arrived from T0.

【Nirvana, Nirvana, this is T0, receive and respond, receive and respond!】

“T0!” At once, Luo Li replied:

【T0, this is your Luo Li sister. Where are you?】

【Luo Li sister! Thank heaven! My master and I have finally waited for you! I’m right beneath your position!】

Through the screen, they clearly saw a crowd gathered below.

【Good, I understand. T0, wait there for us. And… is Bai Yue there?】

【My master will return soon! He’s missed you terribly!】

Bai Yue… has been missing me…

T0’s words struck Luo Li’s ears, and she could no longer suppress her overwhelming excitement and longing—she immediately left the cockpit!

The other six followed her.

Xiao Yue sat on Xiang Nai Hui’s shoulder, gazing at the [Nirvana] in the sky, her heart pounding with excitement.

Earlier, seeing the [Nirvana], she had thought it an illusion.

Only after triple-checking did she confirm it was real—and her first act was to notify her master.

Then, she contacted the [Nirvana].

CLICK!

A hatch opened beneath the [Nirvana], and a large glowing blue flying disc slowly descended, carrying the seven of them.

“This world definitely has dimensional suppression—I feel my strength reduced to less than half!”

Luo Zhan Yun voiced his feeling; Luo Li and the others felt the same.

“I hope my Bai Yue is unharmed—or else… I won’t hesitate to destroy this world!” Luo Li thought.

The seven landed on the ground, staring at the crowd before them, searching for T0’s figure.

Every Demon Slayer felt a chilling aura and invisible pressure radiating from them!

As if an innate bloodline suppression.

And a hidden, lethal killing intent!

“Luo Li sister!”

WHOOSH!

A small figure leapt from the crowd like a rabbit, flinging herself into Luo Li’s arms, hugging tightly against her full chest.

“Luo Li sister, I’ve missed you so much! Missed all of you!”

“T0! Are you and Bai Yue both safe?”

Luo Li cradled T0 in her palms, asking with concern.

“Mm-hmm, my master and I are fine; my master is on the way back.”

“You’re safe—that’s wonderful…”

Beside them, Bai Yun asked: “T0, how did you end up here originally?”

“Big Sister Bai Yun, this story is long—I’ll tell you later. First, let me introduce some of my friends. Oh, my master gave me a name: Xiao Yue.”

“Xiao Yue… that’s nice. You have your own name now.”

Then Xiao Yue led everyone to meet Shikanoe and the others, introducing them one by one.

“So beautiful! Is she Luo Li, the one Zero mentioned?” Shikanoe was stunned by Luo Li’s breathtaking beauty, filled with awe and envy.

She had never seen a woman so beautiful—she looked as if she had stepped straight out of a painting.

Realizing she had been rude, Shikanoe quickly apologized: “I’m sorry, I was impolite.”

“Japanese?” The seven of them all spoke multiple languages and immediately recognized her words.

“Welcome to the Demon Slayer Corps, guests from beyond the heavens,” said Ubuyashiki Yōya, stepping forward with his wife beside him.

At Ubuyashiki Yōya’s voice, the seven felt a light, floating sensation in their minds.

It brought calm and ease to their spirits.

Clatter!

A sound came from not far behind Luo Li.

She turned—and saw Bai Yue, the one she had longed for day and night.

“Luo Li…”

“Bai Yue…”

【Master, Sister Luo Li is here!】

Zero, while slaying a demon, suddenly received a message from Xiao Yue through his 【Analytical Glasses】.

Overcome with excitement, he overexerted himself and snapped the demon’s neck.

Without looking back, he left immediately.

The demon thought it had finally escaped death—until a bomb landed at its feet.

Boom!

A massive explosion shattered the dilapidated temple; the demon was blown to pieces, exposed to sunlight.

“I won’t accept this…!!” Amid the demon’s furious roar, it turned to ash under the sun.

Zero immediately pulled out his 【Solar Energy Flyer】 and strapped it to his back, flying toward the Demon Slayer Corps.

In just ten minutes, he arrived at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters.

Clatter!

Upon landing, he saw several former battle companions standing ahead, along with his sister Bai Yun and the one he had longed for—Luo Li.

“Luo Li…”

“Bai Yue…”

Seeing Luo Li, Zero’s longing surged like a tide, drowning him. His steps grew light.

In an instant, he reached her, arms wide, pulling her into his embrace with desperate urgency—feeling her warmth, her heartbeat, everything about her.

Luo Li hadn’t expected his hug to be so tight—as if he meant to fuse her into his very body, never to part again.

In that moment, time seemed to stop; the entire world fell silent.

Their heartbeats intertwined; their bodies pressed tightly together, like a beautiful painting.

In that instant, all of Luo Li’s worries vanished with his embrace.

She hugged him just as tightly, breathing in his familiar scent.

“Luo Li…”

“I’m here. I’ve always been here.”

“I missed you so much… I’m sorry…” Zero trembled slightly—he cried. This was the first time he had ever cried.

“Mm, I understand.”

Luo Zhan Yun wrapped his arm around Bai Yun’s waist; the couple exchanged a quiet smile.

Breaking the embrace, Luo Li cupped Zero’s face and smiled gently: “Bai Yue, you’ve changed… You’re so much better now than before.”

“Zero…” Shikanoe and Mitsuji stepped forward to him.

Luo Li looked puzzled.

Zero explained: “Zero is the name I use in this world. These two… their relationship with me is the same as yours.”

“The same as mine…” Luo Li pondered, glancing between Shikanoe and Mitsuji, then back at Zero.

Suddenly, she understood.

Still smiling, she gave him a sly look and asked: “Care to explain?”

She had always sensed, deep down, that Bai Yue might one day have more than one wife.

And when he was young, many women had confessed to him—even those of high status…

Even now, it was still true.

But seeing someone else get there first still stung.

Everyone present felt the aura of authority radiating from Luo Li.

An inexplicable pressure made each of them struggle to breathe.

Even the air carried a faint, lingering scent of jealousy.

“Mm.” Zero knew she was jealous—and he was willing to spend extra time explaining properly.

He also gave Shikanoe and Mitsuji a reassuring glance.

Then Zero walked over to Luo Zhan Yun and Bai Yun.

“Zhan Yun, long time no see!” Zero extended his hand.

“Long time no see—you’ve changed a lot, kid!” Luo Zhan Yun reached out and bumped fists with Zero.

“Xiao Yun, I’m sorry—I’ve always worried you all these years.”

“It’s fine, Brother. I’m just glad you’re alive!” Bai Yun beamed, throwing herself into Zero’s arms.

It felt just like when she was a child.

He then bumped fists with former No. 3, No. 4, No. 6, and No. 9.

“Everyone, it’s been a long time!”

“Long time no see!” x4

After explaining the situation to Ubuyashiki Yōya, he led the seven, along with Shikanoe and Mitsuji, back to his estate.

Xiao Yue sat on Luo Li’s shoulder, beaming happily.

After they all left, the other Pillar Swordsmen felt as if they had survived a disaster.

The invisible pressure radiating from the seven had drenched their backs in cold sweat.

Some of the weaker swordsmen collapsed to the ground, gasping for air.

They had been too terrified to even breathe since witnessing that scene.

Ubuyashiki Yōya felt the same—once he confirmed these outsiders were not enemies, his mind finally relaxed.
