Chapter 13: Promoted to First-Rank Wizard!

Lord Aubri left.

His parting advice left Ta Ke feeling both dazed and somewhat unreal.

"Train well here, complete your first-rank promotion, and I'll prepare a nice gift for you."

Obviously, Lord Aubri had discovered that Ta Ke himself had prepared the promotion materials.

And he had expectations of Ta Ke.

"I never expected to come into contact with the high tower in this way."

As a law-abiding citizen of the Lamorel High Tower City-State, Ta Ke was quite aware.

Only by coming into contact with the high tower

could one obtain stronger wizardry.

could one witness those extraordinary "supernatural treasures".

and come into contact with the vast, mysterious supernatural world outside.

He walked back and forth.

Ta Ke was quite satisfied with the second-floor room in the high tower that Lord Aubri had arranged for him.

It was just that this place hadn't been cleaned in years, and a thick layer of dust covered the small hut.

Ta Ke began the cleaning work before his promotion.

…………

One day later.

Second floor of the Spirit Tower.

Inside the already cleaned house, Ta Ke, having adjusted his state, lit the flame beneath the crucible.

The pure water in the crucible began to heat up.

Ta Ke took out the materials he needed for his promotion one by one.

One wailing banshee soul crystal.

One gnoll priest's source energy crystal.

One demonic wolf heart crystal.

Plus, a bottle of first-rank fusion potion.

After pouring the fusion potion into the crucible, the liquid began to thicken moments later.

"Gurgle… gurgle…"

Bubbles gurgled and rolled.

Ta Ke first took out the source energy crystal and threw it into the crucible.

As the source energy crystal melted, Ta Ke brought the wailing banshee soul crystal before his eyes.

In the wailing banshee soul crystal, the banshee's residual trace of sequence will had almost vanished.

"I still prefer how you looked when you came rushing in, wailing."

Ta Ke smiled and tossed the soul crystal in as well.

Lastly, it was the demonic wolf's heart.

An elite heart contaminated by the demonic wolf's will.

Ta Ke hesitated not at all.

Having undone the seal scroll, the demonic wolf's heart rolled straight into the crucible.

"Howl… howl… howl…"

As the demonic wolf's heart melted in the potion, Ta Ke could hear a faint howl of the demonic wolf.

Not long after.

A complete first-rank "wizard promotion potion" was finished by Ta Ke.

After cooling and bottling, holding the glass bottle, Ta Ke's wizard ability "Spirit Touch Perception" activated silently.

"Spirit Touch Perception" is the wizard ability that Ta Ke naturally awakened upon obtaining his wizard sequence.

Through soul, body, source energy, and the like, Ta Ke could deeply perceive and establish an order model.

【Wizard Promotion Elixir】

【Containing the banshee's residual will】

【Containing the gnoll priest's curse】

【Containing the elite demonic wolf's strong sequence will】

Before, using "Spirit Touch Perception," Ta Ke could only sense a certain degree of supernatural traits.

But now, it possesses an SS-rank 【Precision】.

The utmost precision of the potion's information was perfectly presented in Ta Ke's perception.

"Better not to know than to know."

Ta Ke rubbed his forehead.

"This doesn't look like a wizard's promotion potion."

"This is more like a 'farewell potion' from someone who couldn't cope, on their deathbed."

He took a deep breath.

Ta Ke gulped down the wizard potion in one go.

An indescribable feeling filled Ta Ke's taste buds.

Next, a slight sting flowed from his throat into his stomach, then spread throughout his body.

Soon, this feeling extended from his flesh to his soul, and then erupted loudly within Ta Ke's wizard sequence.

The Wizard seed that had already taken root, having received nourishment from the Wizard potion, began to sprout and grow rapidly.

A single Wizard Tree.

Swaying its trunk and leaves, it quickly blossomed.

And as the Wizard seed blossomed.

Ta Ke's soul, flesh, and source energy were also undergoing rapid transformation.

Transforming toward a First-rank Wizard.

And around the Wizard Tree.

Ta Ke's transcendent arts also displayed a certain sequential state.

Bullet Tentacles, Blood Thorn Vines, Source Scale Shield, and so on, all appeared in a semi-transparent magical form.

As if under the shelter of a great tree, like decorative flora.

"Ao ao——"

Just at that moment.

The will of the demon wolf, which had been waiting for a long time, finally bared its fangs.

An elite demon wolf with dark fur and blood-red eyes roared, charging toward Ta Ke's newly grown Wizard Tree.

Once the Wizard Tree is destroyed.

Ta Ke's advancement will be declared a failure, even resulting in death.

As the elite demon wolf demon wolf drew nearer, its surrounding context and trajectory became ever clearer, and continually wound toward the demon wolf.

The demon wolf's speed also grew slower and slower.

When the demon wolf had advanced to a certain extent, the elite demon wolf was completely locked by the context.

No matter how it struggled, it could not approach Ta Ke's Wizard Tree by even a hair's breadth.

"The sequential ecology constructed by my Wizard Tree, under the effect of 【Precision】, has all the world's trajectories converging in my hands."

"If eaten by me, your only fate is to be digested."

Having said that, Ta Ke manipulated the demon wolf's will and tossed it into a minor vortex nearby.

The vortex easily shattered the demon wolf's will, then absorbed it.

【Wind Vortex】

This is the sequential manifestation of Ta Ke's mastered technique "Wind Fleet Run".

Endowed with SS-rank 【Precision】 transcendent talent.

Ta Ke's newly born Wizard Tree ecology is astonishingly strong.

During Ta Ke's standoff with the elite demon wolf,

The Wizard Tree had already completed its growth and transformation.

Taking the Wizard Tree as core, with 【Precision】 as the law of this world.

Ta Ke's wizard abilities and learned techniques each displayed their own sequential characteristics, surrounding the Wizard Tree.

A small wizard sequence ecology has formally taken shape.

……

"Hah……"

Wizard's tower, inside the hut.

Seated Ta Ke slowly opened his eyes.

The attribute panel then appeared before his eyes.

【Transcendent Sequence】

Wizard: Level 10.

……

【Transcendent Talent】

Precision (SS-rank): 500%.

……

【Transcendent Wizardry/Ability】

Bullet Tentacle: Level 9.

Blood Thorn Vine: Level 9.

…………

"Finally became a First-rank Wizard."

As Ta Ke stretched his arms, the transcendent aura of a First-rank Wizard emerged.

Compared to the previous weak state of an "Apprentice Wizard".

Now, Ta Ke as a First-rank Wizard has a thick, solid aura, full of intimidation.

"Mental strength has increased by at least 60%."

"Source energy strength has also increased by 40%."

"Normal first-rank life materials can increase physique by about 30%."

And I absorbed the heart of a powerful "Elite Demonic Wolf", increasing my physique by about 80%.

Ta Ke lightly clenched his fist, feeling abundant power surging through his muscles.

Not bad……

Ta Ke was very satisfied with this improvement.

After experiencing the basic improvement of advancing to first-rank wizard.

Ta Ke looked at what he had gained after his promotion.
