Chapter 1464

"Wait a moment."

Just as Cheng Yu said he would report this matter to Duan Yu.

Jia Xu, who had his hands tucked into his sleeves, suddenly raised them and said: "I think... it would be better not to report this matter to the Prince of Liang for handling."

Hmm?

Hmm?

Li Ru and Cheng Yu both looked at Jia Xu at the same time.

Not report it?

"Wenhe, what do you mean by this?"

Li Ru looked at Jia Xu with some confusion and said: "Not report such a major event to the Prince of Liang first?"

Jia Xu lowered his gaze and pondered for a moment, then looked up at the two.

"Things have reached this point, it is already a foregone conclusion..."

Jia Xu frowned and said: "With the speed of the Xiongnu cavalry, if we report the matter to the Prince of Liang now, even if the Prince of Liang has already returned to Chang'an from Hanzhong, then receives the news and comes to Jinyang from Chang'an to handle this matter, Yu Fuluo will inevitably have already completed his rendezvous with Budugen."

"Even if we send someone to notify Pingcheng Pass now, we won't be able to catch up with the speed of the Xiongnu and Xianbei's advance."

"Therefore, notifying or not notifying the Prince of Liang will not help the current overall situation."
