Chapter 166

Duan Yu finally understood why it is said that one should seek fame early.

Duan Yu rode the Ink Jade Qilin Beast, leading Tie Shitou, Wang Hunu, Chen Qing'an, Liu Bai Tu, and over twenty riders as they entered Jinyang in a grand procession.

The horses were captured from Lishan Feng.

Previously, Tie Shitou and the others did not know how to ride.

But once they had horses, they had to learn.

In future battlefields, although infantry would be the mainstay, cavalry would be the trump card.

Relying on Liangzhou and Bingzhou, places that produced the world's finest cavalry, how could one not know how to ride?

Therefore, Duan Yu's requirement for everyone whenever they went out was that they must ride horses and become familiar with horsemanship.

"Shitou, Hunu."

After entering the city, Duan Yu reined in his warhorse and looked back at the four men behind him: "Go to the west city camp to find Gao Shun and Jia Xu, and wait for me there."

"Qing'an, Bai Tu, you two follow me into the city."

The four nodded in agreement, and then Tie Shitou and Wang Hunu led the twenty-plus riders straight to the west city camp.

Duan Yu, meanwhile, took Chen Qing'an and Liu Bai Tu to the West Market.

Before long, Duan Yu stopped his horse in front of an inn in the West Market.

Because Duan Yu had first sold animal skins in the West Market.

The place where Duan Yu's legendary stories were most widely circulated was the West Market.

The waiter who walked out of the inn widened his eyes the moment he saw Duan Yu.

There was no helping it; Duan Yu's stature and the Ink Jade Qilin Beast were simply too conspicuous and recognizable.

"You are... you are Lord Duan!" the waiter said excitedly.

Duan Yu smiled slightly and nodded, then asked: "Is there a Zhen family merchant caravan in the shop?"

The waiter nodded repeatedly, both excited and thrilled: "Yes, yes, in reply to Lord Duan, there is indeed a Zhen family merchant caravan."

Duan Yu pointed to the warhorse beside him: "Take good care of the horse, and also help me call the person in charge of the Zhen family caravan; tell them Duan Yu is visiting." ===== CHAPTER 168 =====
