Chapter 646

Mid-April, Wei Commandery, Quliang City.

Outside the city.

Dozens of cavalry were looking toward Quliang City from a dirt slope a few miles outside the city.

The leader, Yuan Shao, was riding a white horse, wearing armor, with a white cape behind him.

Behind him followed Xu You, dressed in a scholar's long robe.

Compared to more than a month ago, Yuan Shao looked significantly thinner, and his face even appeared somewhat weathered and exhausted.

"Zi Yuan, where have the main forces of Lu Zhi and Dong Zhuo reached?"

Yuan Shao asked, looking at Quliang City in the distance.

"Yesterday, the scouts sent word that they have already reached Dangyin County. If they move fast, the vanguard will be able to reach Quliang City within three days," Xu You said.

Yuan Shao nodded upon hearing this and let out a long breath.
