Chapter 1064

"Understood!"

Zhang He nodded and then led five thousand soldiers to retreat rapidly.

However, just at this moment, two teams suddenly rushed over from the distance. The attire of these two teams was completely different from that of the Jizhou soldiers; their armor was very thick, and the weapons they held in their hands were much shorter than the long spears of the Jizhou soldiers.

Yuan Shao and the other generals were shocked upon seeing these two enemy forces. They had never encountered such a situation before; who exactly were these enemy forces?

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

Suddenly, several more teams of enemy forces ran toward this side at high speed.

"Who is the enemy?"

"Don't know! However, it must be Yuan Shao's reinforcements."

"Yuan Shao's reinforcements?"

"That's right, these two armies are precisely the Qingzhou Iron Cavalry of Jizhou!"

"Jizhou's Qingzhou Iron Cavalry, what is going on? Weren't they routed by our army?"

"Who can tell me what is going on?"

Yuan Shao's generals were all confused. They did not understand why the Qingzhou Iron Cavalry would suddenly appear in their field of vision.

"We don't know either!"

"No matter what, their strength is far too much stronger than ours; we must immediately send reinforcements to rescue them."

Yuan Shao's generals immediately made a decision and immediately mobilized five thousand cavalry to kill their way toward the direction of the Qingzhou Iron Cavalry.

However, they did not know that their movements had already been exposed.

Qingzhou, in the main camp.

After Zhao Yun heard the news brought back by the scouts, he could not help but furrow his brows, his face gloomy and terrifying.

"General, what should we do?" Guo Tu asked upon seeing Zhao Yun's appearance.

"We cannot sit and wait for death!"

After Zhao Yun finished speaking, he led the soldiers and rushed toward the city gate.

Not long after they left, Zhang He's troops also arrived at the city gate.

"Report!"

"Speak!"

"Reporting to my lord, five hundred miles ahead, Yuan Shao's reinforcements have been discovered!" The scout reported.

"What?"

Upon hearing this, Zhang He could not help but widen his eyes and said in disbelief: "How could Yuan Shao's reinforcements suddenly appear here? This is not scientific!" ===== CHAPTER 1065 =====
