Chapter 1090

They were originally going to attack the Western Regions, but they did not expect that the Western Regions army would take the initiative to withdraw, which made the leaders of the various factions in the Western Regions feel very puzzled.

"General, what should we do next?" Li Dian came to Gu Yi's front and asked.

"Our reinforcements should be arriving very soon," Gu Yi said confidently.

"What? The General's reinforcements are coming so soon?" Upon hearing this, Li Dian asked in shock.

"Mm." Gu Yi nodded.

"That's great! Then we don't have to fear them!" Li Dian breathed a sigh of relief.

Gu Yi looked at Li Dian and asked, "I remember that you Western Regions have five cities; what is going on with this?"

"That is our western border, where fifteen thousand troops are stationed," Li Dian replied.

"So that's how it is." Gu Yi nodded and then asked, "Then what about the other cities?"

"Although the garrisons in the other cities are small, they are not weak. Therefore, we need to wipe out the garrison at the western border first before we can attack the other cities," Li Dian explained.

"This matter will be left to you." Gu Yi patted Li Dian on the shoulder and said.

"Yes, General!" Li Dian cupped his hands and said.

"Alright, let's continue training the soldiers." Gu Yi said with a smile.

"Yes, General!" Li Dian nodded and then went to arrange for these soldiers.

Gu Yi watched Li Dian's figure disappear and then returned to the commander's mansion.

At this time, Zhao Yun, Zhao Feng, Chen Gong, and others had already finished gathering.

Seeing Gu Yi return, they all surrounded him.

"General, our men have all finished gathering," Chen Gong cupped his hands and said.

"Good." Gu Yi nodded, then turned to look at everyone and said, "We will go to attack the western city tonight." ===== CHAPTER 1091 =====
