Chapter 1140: Extreme Collapse

Because the armor they wore was completely different from the armor of his personal guard, and at their waists, they also wore the waist tokens of Gu Yi's personal guard.

Gu Yi's personal guard were all elites he had brought out from Youzhou; these people were the die-hard loyalists he had cultivated in Youzhou.

Their military pay was all distributed according to Gu Yi's standards.

Therefore, Gu Yi's personal guard was absolutely the elite within his army.

Yet, now, these people were actually Gu Yi's personal guard!

Deep in his heart, extreme anger surged.

"General, what do we do now?"

"Pass the order, retreat immediately!"

"Retreat? General, we have already attacked to the foot of the city wall; wouldn't retreating now mean all our efforts go to waste?"

"If we don't retreat, do you want to stay here?"

"General..."

"Pass the order, retreat immediately!"

"Yes."

Just as Yuan Shao's personal guard prepared to retreat, Gu Yi's personal guard finally seized the opportunity and completely defeated Yuan Shao's personal guard!

"Gu Yi, I will tear you into ten thousand pieces!"

Looking at the dilapidated city before him and watching his personal guard die continuously, a thick look of resentment flashed across Yuan Shao's face.

"General, what do we do now?"

"Immediately mobilize a large number of reinforcements and kill your way outside the city. I don't believe that with our army, we can't deal with Gu Yi's personal guard!"

"Yes!"

Immediately, Yuan Shao's personal guard fled rapidly toward the north. ===== CHAPTER 1141 =====
