Chapter 1346

"Anomaly? What anomaly?" Zhang Liao asked.

"A large number of soldiers have broken into the city!"

Hearing these words, Zhang Liao's eyes widened suddenly.

"What? There is actually such a thing?"

"We haven't even entered Qingzhou territory, and we've already been intercepted?"

"Someone come!"

Zhang Liao shouted loudly.

Soon, several soldiers walked over.

"General, do you have any orders?" the soldier asked.

"You go to the City Lord's Mansion immediately and ask the City Lord to come see me quickly!" Zhang Liao said loudly.

"Yes!"

Inside the City Lord's Mansion, City Lord Guo Jia and Seeing Xun You were discussing the battle plan for tomorrow.

"Mr. Guo, I think we should follow the original plan for tomorrow. Our army only has five thousand men left in this Qinglong Commandery; even if we want to attack, it is inevitable that we will suffer heavy casualties. It is better not to act rashly for now," Seeing Xun You said.

"Mr. Xun, we have already lost so many men and horses; even if we want to retreat now, it is already too late. We should take advantage of the fact that we still have a chance and launch a counterattack!" Guo Jia said.

Seeing Xun You shook his head and said: "I don't think Mr. Guo's strategy is appropriate. I believe we should follow the original plan and wait for Cao Cao's army to arrive!"

Guo Jia frowned and said: "But if we wait for Cao Cao's army to arrive, wouldn't that delay the speed of our army's attack?"

"Nowadays, Cao Cao's army is pressing toward us; we simply cannot hold on for too long!" Seeing Xun You said.

Guo Jia pondered for a moment and said: "Since Mr. Xun is so insistent, then I will execute it according to Mr. Xun's words!"

"Since that is the case, then I will withdraw first!"

"Wait, please ask Mr. Xun to help me find a few physicians who understand medicine; I want to treat the soldiers' wounds!" Guo Jia said.

"Good, this matter is left to me, I will invite the physicians over!" Seeing Xun You said, cupping his hands.

The Qingzhou army finished resting and reorganizing, then launched a charge toward the Yanzhou army again.

"Big Brother, look, the enemy army over there has killed their way over again!"

"No need to panic, their numbers are not large, we can still hold them off!" Guo Jia said.

"But their fire arrows are so powerful!"

"We are prepared for this too, our archers will also shoot!"

"Big Brother, the archers over there seem to have a very long range; if we can't dodge in time, I'm afraid..."

"Rest assured, you don't need to worry about this, I have my own sense of proportion!" Guo Jia said.

The Qingzhou army's arrows flew continuously toward the Yanzhou army's camp, while the Yanzhou army's archers countered without fear, their arrows weaving through the Qingzhou army's ranks, shooting down Qingzhou army soldiers one by one.

This situation not only surprised the Qingzhou army, but also shocked the Yanzhou army quite a bit.

"Who sent these people? They are actually so powerful!"

"Where did these people pop out from?"

"This... not good, it's the main force of the Qingzhou army!"

"Quick, quick, quick, go notify the Lord!"

The Yanzhou army retreated steadily under the Qingzhou army's offensive; their soldiers suffered countless casualties, and they even forgot to counterattack.

"General, our arrows have all been shot!"

"What? All the arrows have been shot? How could that be?" Guo Jia said in astonishment.

"It's true, General, our arrows are all gone!" the soldier said.

Guo Jia was stunned and said: "How could they be shot out? Aren't the Qingzhou army's arrows very few? How could their arrows be shot out?"

"This subordinate does not know!"

Guo Jia frowned; he knew that he had now fallen into an extremely passive situation, and if things continued like this, their entire army would sooner or later be wiped out. ===== CHAPTER 1347 =====
