Chapter 215

However.

His going back and forth.

Resulted in the army under Gao Shun's command having already arrived entirely outside Zhuyang Pass.

"Shoot arrows!"

Gao Shun commanded the new army under his command to launch a volley at the city tower.

The weapons equipped by the new army were God-Arm Bows with extremely long range.

Although Zhuyang Pass was sturdy, its city walls were not high.

The range of the God-Arm Bows could completely reach the city tower.

In an instant.

A large number of garrison troops on the city tower fell.

Under Gao Shun's command.

The armored soldiers of the Camp-Breaking Battalion and the Mo-Dao team, under the cover of the God-Arm Bow guard, launched a charge toward the city wall.

Before long.

There were no garrison troops left on the city tower of Zhuyang Pass.

And that garrison general of Zhuyang Pass had also been slapped unconscious by Gao Shun and captured alive.

The great flag of the Dong Zhuo army was planted on the city tower of Zhuyang Pass!

Soon, the main force of the Dong Zhuo army would be led by Gu Yi and rush toward this side through the Xiegu Road.

By then.

Relying solely on Zhang Lu and the Hanzhong garrison troops under his command, it would be entirely impossible to be a match for the Dong Zhuo army.

And Gao Shun did not choose to hide the news of taking Zhuyang Pass.

This was an order Gu Yi had instructed him in advance before he set out to attack Zhuyang.

Once Zhuyang Pass was conquered, there was no need to hide any news from Zhang Lu and the Hanzhong garrison troops.

What was needed was to let them know that Zhuyang Pass had fallen!

In this way.

Yang Song, this confidant of Zhang Lu who had already been turned by Jia Xu, could better play his next role.
