Chapter 288

"My lord!"

Seeing Yuan Shao fall,

Tian Feng, Guo Tu, Feng Ji, Xin Ping, and the others were all startled by this sudden scene.

At this moment, all factional interests were cast to the back of their minds.

After all,

if something were to happen to Yuan Shao, none of them would have an easy life.

Fortunately, Yuan Shao himself was a man of martial training.

He did not suffer any major injury from the fall.

Yet even so, Yuan Shao remained slumped on the ground, muttering to himself:

"How... how is this possible?"

One cannot blame Yuan Shao for his lack of composure; the news was simply too explosive!

Although Yuan Shao did not possess elite forces like the Xiliang Iron Cavalry or the Bingzhou Wolf Cavalry,

as a man of great wealth and power, he had the largest number of cavalry in the entire coalition.

When training these cavalry, Yuan Shao provided the funds whenever funds were needed, and the grounds whenever grounds were needed.
