Chapter 726

Noble Consort Dong was the Empress Dowager Dong of the future.

Under Zhang Rang's careful soothing, Liu Hong's emotions gradually calmed down from the nightmare.

Seeing Liu Hong had improved a lot.

Zhang Rang, in order to make Liu Hong happy, said with a smile:

"Your Highness, this old servant went out today and heard that His Majesty summoned many important court officials such as Lord Huangfu, Lord Duan, and Lord Yang into the palace to discuss matters."

"Given His Majesty's usual temperament, he would never do this."

"And this old servant heard from little Kunzi in the imperial kitchen yesterday that His Majesty often hopes to obtain an elixir of immortality recently."

"Perhaps... Your Highness, your opportunity is coming soon!"

If Zhang Rang had said these words to someone else, it might have caused their resentment.

But sorry.

For Liu Hong, his disgust for his father was from the bottom of his heart.

After listening to what Zhang Rang said.

Liu Hong's mind instantly became active.

The only imperial son who could succeed to the throne was him.

Even if his father Liu Zhi was unwilling no matter what.

Once he kicked the bucket, this imperial throne would still have to be handed over to him.

Therefore.

Liu Zhi being seriously ill was definitely good news for Liu Hong!
