Chapter 205

The next day, outside Xuzhoucheng

"Boom... boom... boom..."

The great army surged, and thousands of soldiers, led by Taishi Ci, came outside the gates of Xuzhoucheng!

"Tao Gongzu, you harmed my lord for no reason, and now you are guarding the city like a turtle, do you dare to fight!"

Taishi Ci stood under the city wall and cursed, and for a time, everyone on the walls of Xuzhoucheng had a strange look!

Looking at Tao Qian in the middle of the crowd, he saw that the latter's face had already turned red!

"Who will go down and behead this person!"

Clenching his iron fist and supporting his sick body, Tao Qian's eyes were red, and he wished he could swallow Taishi Ci alive!

"Tao Gong, my third brother is brave and can behead this person!"

Seeing that it was not Zhao Yun or Dian Wei, Liu Bei immediately bowed and recommended his third brother, Zhang Fei!

"Good, this battle depends on Xuande's brother!"

Tao Qian said excitedly to Liu Bei on the side, and Liu Bei also looked at Zhang Fei behind him and nodded at the latter!

"Big brother, just watch, I will definitely poke a few holes in him!"

Speaking carelessly, Zhang Fei turned and left!

A moment later, the gates of Xuzhoucheng

"Boom!"

As the city gates opened a corner, Zhang Fei led over a thousand soldiers and rushed out from the city gates!

"You thief, don't run, Zhang Fei of Yan is here!"

Holding the Eight-Foot Serpent Spear, Zhang Fei rode his horse over, waving the long spear in his hand, and stabbed fiercely at Taishi Ci!

With the fierce force, Taishi Ci raised his spear and just struck once, feeling the force within!

"Clang!"

As the two spears collided, Taishi Ci hurriedly held the reins and stabilized his figure!

Holding the long spear in his right hand, feeling the force, a flame of fighting spirit ignited in his eyes!

"Well fought!"

Zhang Fei's strength made Taishi Ci's fighting spirit burn at this moment, and raising his spear, he quickly entangled with Zhang Fei again!

"Thump... thump... thump..."

The Eight-Foot Serpent Spear and the long spear collided, and the two fought on horseback, and before they knew it, they had exchanged fifty rounds without a winner!

Such a scene made everyone on the walls of Xuzhoucheng furrow their brows!

Especially Tao Qian, whose face was extremely ugly!

Wasn't it said that his third brother Zhang Fei was brave and peerless, and was a match for ten thousand men?

How was he fighting back and forth with Taishi Ci!

"Big brother, this person's martial arts are not bad; I fear third brother won't be able to take him down within a hundred rounds!"

Guan Yu, standing behind Liu Bei, whispered!

Liu Bei in front nodded bitterly, his expression exceptionally complex!

Before him was but a mere Taishi Ci!

Who could exchange a hundred rounds with his third brother!

Then what if Zhao Yun and Dian Wei attacked together?

"Where did Lin Ziyuan find so many fierce generals!"

Muttering to himself, Liu Bei was envious, jealous, and hateful!

And at the same time, before the great army on the other side

"Didn't expect Tao Qian to have such a martial general!"

Cheng Yu and Guo Jia knew Taishi Ci's martial arts very well!

During the Battle of Huaiyin before!

Cao Bao's lieutenant was picked off by the other party in just one round!

Even when facing a top martial general like Zhao Yun, he didn't fall behind in a hundred rounds!

Taishi Ci with this kind of strength!

Was actually blocked by a Zhang Fei!

Because they were overshadowed by Dian Wei and Zhao Yun before Hulao Pass!

The names of Zhang Fei and Guan Yu were not prominent!

It was reasonable that Cheng Yu and Guo Jia didn't know them!

"This person is Zhang Fei, Zhang Yide, the third brother of Liu Bei, the County Magistrate of Pingyuan!" Lin Yang spoke, explaining to Cheng Yu and Guo Jia beside him, "This person and Liu Bei's second brother, Guan Yu, Guan Yunchang, both have the courage of Zhao Yun and cannot be underestimated!"

In this point, Lin Yang was not wrong!

In the entire Three Kingdoms, except for Lu Bu who was ranked first and whose martial strength was excessively strong!

The strength of all the others who remained was actually about the same!

Within a hundred rounds, no one could do anything to anyone!

"Indeed, one cannot underestimate the heroes of the world!"

Hearing that a random County Magistrate's subordinate had a fierce general like Zhao Yun, Cheng Yu, Guo Jia, and the others all sighed!

The troubled times had arrived, and the warlords were rising!

One truly could not underestimate anyone!

"Thump... thump... thump..."

On Lin Yang's side, everyone was amazed at Zhang Fei's strength, while on the battlefield, Taishi Ci and Zhang Fei were already fighting inextricably!

"You thief, your strength is not weak, take my spear!"

"Humph, I'm not afraid of you!"

As they fought, their long spears collided, bursting out bursts of collision sounds!

The soldiers on both sides also shouted, cheering and encouraging their respective commanders!

Before they knew it, the two fought for over a hundred rounds without a winner!

"Clang clang clang..."

Just as Zhang Fei was fighting more and more bravely, wanting to take down Taishi Ci, the sound of retreating troops rang out from the city walls, and Zhang Fei retreated unwillingly!

"Taishi brat, we will fight again next time!"

Cursing, Zhang Fei led a group of soldiers, crossed the moat again, and headed toward the city!

Taishi Ci, who had fought Zhang Fei for a hundred rounds, was not convinced at all and also rode his horse and led a group of soldiers back!

Half an hour later, before the great army

"My lord, this subordinate failed to behead that Yan man, please punish me!"

Riding quickly to Lin Yang's side, Taishi Ci lowered his head at this moment and bowed to plead guilty!

This battle!

Originally, he wanted to behead a general before the formation to dampen the other party's morale!

As a result!

He fought the other party to a draw!

"Haha, Ziyi is brave, what crime is there!"

Helping Taishi Ci up, Taishi Ci being able to fight Zhang Fei for a hundred rounds without falling behind made Lin Yang surprised!

As expected of the number one fierce general of Jiangdong!

"Next, Ziyi, you and Zilong, E'lai, fight more with this Zhang Fei and Guan Yu!"

Now that they had a catapult to break the city, they only had to wait for the catapult to be built, and the great army could attack Xuzhoucheng!

Before that!

Letting Taishi Ci, Zhao Yun, Dian Wei, and the others hone their martial arts with Zhang Fei and the others was also a good choice!

Comforting Taishi Ci, the latter also led his troops back to the army!

Lin Yang looked at Xuzhoucheng in the distance and waited silently!

Under the night curtain, in the military camp

"The construction of the catapult will take some time, I hope Sun Jian and Cao Mengde can be a bit slower!"

A fierce battle during the day also made Lin Yang understand the situation in Xuzhoucheng!
