Chapter 251

This made Yan Xiang very helpless!

Lin Ziyuan of Xuzhou started with weak troops and developed rapidly, now having over one hundred thousand troops!

Even if someone took away fifty thousand troops to Qingzhou!

The remaining one hundred thousand troops were not something that could be captured in a single day!

Attacking Xuzhou was a complete waste of time!

It would be better to capture Yangzhou first, then attack Xuzhou!

"No need to say more; this Lin Ziyuan does not deserve to own Xuzhou!"

With a wave of his hand, Yuan Gonglu did not believe he would lose!

He was the legitimate son of the Yuan family!

The descendant of a family that held the highest offices for four generations!

This Xuzhou should be for him to rule!

The person Yuan Benchu couldn't beat, he, Yuan Gonglu, would beat!

Once he conquered Xuzhou!

And sat on the two provinces of Yuzhou and Xuzhou!

He could enter Qingzhou and compete with Yuan Benchu!

He would prove to the world!

That he, Yuan Gonglu, was the true legitimate son of the Yuan family!

"My lord, alas!"

Hearing Yuan Gonglu say this, Yan Xiang, below, was quite helpless!

What strategists fear most!

Is that their lord will not listen to them!

In Yangzhou now, they had only captured Jiujiang Commandery!

Sun Jian, Sun Wentai, had led his army and already captured Yuzhang Commandery!

Now he was advancing toward Lujiang Commandery!

Once the other party captured Lujiang Commandery, Jiujiang Commandery would be within Sun Jian's range of attack!

And!

Most importantly, once the war in Xuzhou was dragged out, Yangzhou would inevitably be captured by Sun Jian!

Given the hatred between Yuan Gonglu and Sun Jian!

Sun Jian would definitely dispatch troops to attack!

Attacking Xuzhou, offending Lin Ziyuan for no reason, and letting Sun Wentai develop!

It was truly irrational!

"No, this matter needs to be persuaded to the lord again!"

Yan Xiang pondered in his heart and decided to let Yang Hong also come to persuade Yuan Shu!

Otherwise!

Once the army marched to Xuzhou, the consequences would be unimaginable!

Xuzhou, Donghai Commandery, Xuzhou City

"Zhongde, this Yuan Gonglu's army is stationed at the border; is he trying to plot for Xuzhou while the lord is away?"

News of Yuan Gonglu's army's movements arrived, and Gu Yong, looking at Yuan Gonglu's actions, could not help but feel a trace of doubt!

Was this Yuan Gonglu crazy?

Why not just attack Yangzhou properly!

Why insist on coming to attack Xuzhou!

What was going on?

"The lord has already sent a letter; I reckon it must be Cao Mengde who exchanged the two commanderies of Qingzhou for the other's dispatch of troops!"

Handing the letter received today to the other party, Cheng Yu's eyes were extremely calm!

Lin Yang had long guessed this scene and specially left Zhao Yun, Zang Ba, and others behind!

Now Zhao Yun, Zang Ba, and the others were in Xia Qiu!

General Dian Wei's twenty thousand troops were stationed in Peng Cheng!

If Yuan Gonglu came, he would only meet a dead end!

Just as the war in Xuzhou was tense, Lin Yang, on the other side, was already leading five thousand troops, quickly returning to reinforce Xuzhou City!

Under the night sky, Langya Commandery, Yiqiu County Government Office

"The army can reach Xuzhou City tomorrow!"

Looking at the night, Lin Yang also breathed a sigh of relief!

"Ding, detected that the current Reputation Marketplace can be upgraded!"

"Upgrade?" ===== CHAPTER 252 =====
