Chapter 268

The former Yangzhou Inspector Chen Wen died of illness!

Now Emperor Xian is held hostage by the two thieves Li Jue and Guo Si and went to Chang'an!

It is impossible to ask the court to appoint a Yangzhou Inspector!

Yuan Gonglu and Yuan Benchou both have designs on Yangzhou!

It is a pity!

One is in Jizhou, and the person sent to Yangzhou died halfway!

And Yuan Gonglu sent someone to Kuaiji Commandery!

It is a pity!

Because of the Qingzhou matter, Yuan Gonglu's original Yangzhou strategy plan came to an abrupt end!

Of the six commanderies of Yangzhou, Yuan Gonglu only fought for Jiujiang Commandery!

This allowed Sun Wentai to take advantage and take down Yuzhang Commandery and capture most of Lujiang Commandery!

"My lord, what Yuantan said is correct, such an ownerless land is a rare opportunity!"

Guo Jia on the side also said!

No one expected!

Yangzhou Inspector Chen Wen would die of illness last year!

As for whether it was really death from illness, Guo Jia didn't want to care!

Anyway, Yangzhou is now ownerless, and Lin Yang's army can attack at will!

"Hmm, Yuantan, continue!"

Regarding the understanding of Yangzhou, Gu Yong is undoubtedly the clearest!

At this moment, seeing Lin Yang nod, he also stated the plan he had long thought of one by one!

"My lord, now that we have come from Guangling Commandery, we can directly enter Dantu, Wu Jun!"

"The Dantu County Magistrate is a member of my Gu family, and the army can stop here first!"

Pointing to the Dantu land of Wu Jun in Yangzhou, this is the port city to enter Wu Jun!

Gu Yong had already arranged everything!

"Then the lord can march from Dantu, go south along Qu'e, and head straight for Wu Jun, the seat of Wu Jun!"

Gu Yong said, and he knew the pattern of Yangzhou better than anyone!

As the head of the Gu family in Jiangdong, the people standing behind him are not just one person!

"In Wu Jun, there is only Yan Baihu, who has about ten thousand troops, all of whom are bandits; the lord can lead the army to defeat them and recruit the army under his command!"

The land of Wu Jun possesses four major aristocratic families!

They are the Gu, Zhu, Lu, and Zhang families!

The four major aristocratic families had already chosen to defect to Lin Yang under Gu Yong's letter!

The disciples of the four major aristocratic families also occupy the various county cities under Wu Jun!

As long as Lin Yang's army arrives, within Wu Jun, except for the place occupied by Yan Baihu, all other counties will surrender!

As for Yan Baihu?

In Gu Yong's view, the ten thousand troops of the other party are all bandits!

Taishi Ci under Lin Yang only needs to behead Yan Baihu, then the remaining ten thousand troops can all be used to expand the army!

"In addition, the ten thousand troops in Wu Jun will also be presented together as soon as the lord arrives in Wu Jun!"

Gu Yong said, and Taishi Ci and Dian Wei, who were sitting on the side, were directly stunned!

What the hell?

People haven't arrived yet!

The people of this commandery in Yangzhou directly surrendered?

And!

Not only surrendered, but also presented the ten thousand troops guarding Wu Jun!

Good guy!

This kind of battle, they saw it for the first time!

It was Guo Jia on the side who was not surprised at all!

"Alas, the lord's policy of treating the aristocratic families before is probably used here!"

Guo Jia looked at Gu Yong, knowing Lin Yang's purpose, Guo Jia really felt sorry for the four major aristocratic families of Jiangdong!

They were sold by Lin Yang and were still helping Lin Yang count the money!

It seems you have gained short-term benefits!

But what you lose in the future is the privilege of the aristocratic families!

"However, the lord's policy of treating the aristocratic families like this is probably not something many aristocratic families can endure!"

All private fields are privatized, and no taxes are collected!

Even the Han court, which tacitly allowed the aristocratic families to annex land, cannot compare!

However!

Lin Yang's strategy is not without problems!

The problem is that all land has been registered, and reclaimed wasteland has been returned to the public!

And the aristocratic families are forbidden to annex land in the future!

Guo Jia was a bit uncertain for a while!

Is Lin Yang underestimating the greed of the aristocratic families!

Or is he....

Thinking of this, Guo Jia looked at Lin Yang, who had a smile on his face, and felt a little uneasy in his heart!

After getting along for a long time, Guo Jia felt that the second possibility was greater!

"Haha, Yuantan, you have worked hard this time!"

Looking at Gu Yong with a smile, the four major aristocratic families of Wu Jun were like this, and Gu Yong must have contributed a lot!

Otherwise!

The land of Wu Jun would not have fallen into his hands so easily!

Being able to obtain the support of the four major aristocratic families of Wu Jun at the same time!

This is something Sun Ce could not do!

And!

Lin Yang is not a reckless man like Sun Ce!

Fighting the aristocratic families in Yangzhou, showing his edge!

As a result, he killed himself!

Without absolute overwhelming strength, people still have to hide a bit!

Learn from Sima Yi, only then can you live long!

"Everything is for the lord's great cause!"

Gu Yong cupped his hands and said, in the end, he did not have the calmness of serving as the Prime Minister of Eastern Wu in later generations!

After all, he lacked decades of rolling and crawling, Gu Yong is now in his prime, and he is thinking of going further!

Once he helps Lin Yang master the entire Yangzhou!

Then relying on the rice seeds under the lord!

Then this Han world is very likely to be Lin Yang's!

"Hmm hmm, Yuantan, send a letter to the aristocratic families of Wu Jun, whoever defects to me, I will not treat them badly!"

He said to Gu Yong in front of him, Lin Yang knew deeply that if he wanted the prey to take the bait!

Then he must build a nest!

If you don't build a nest, how will the fish come to you!

Pigs also have to be fattened before they can be killed!

"Yes, my lord!"

Getting Lin Yang's personal promise, Gu Yong was relieved at this moment!

Although Lin Yang's policy towards the Xuzhou aristocratic families was like that!

But in Gu Yong's heart, there was no bottom line!
