Chapter 357

"My lord, everything has been arranged!"

Guo Jia nodded, although he felt very confused about what Lin Yang had asked him to do!

But since Lin Yang had ordered it, he naturally did his best!

"Good, order the army to leave the city tomorrow and fight a decisive battle with the enemy!"

Now the three armies had finished preparing, and the catapults in the Wengcheng had been built!

Everything was ready, just waiting for Yuan Gonglu's army to move first!

"Xuangao, tomorrow will depend on you!"

Looking at Zang Ba outside the city, Lin Yang also sent someone to notify him!

Half a day later.

"My lord is going to attack tomorrow?"

Sun Guan looked at Lin Yang's decision, his head full of confusion!

Yuan Gonglu's one hundred thousand troops have arrived, a full two hundred thousand troops are here, and instead of defending the city, they are going to fight a decisive battle to the death with the enemy?

"Alright, order the soldiers to prepare for battle!"

Zang Ba knew more about the situation than Sun Guan!

Lin Yang dared to do this, so he must have made preparations!

For a moment, with Yuan Gonglu's arrival, the entire Battle of Xia Qiu was completely ignited!

Inside the Yuan army camp, Yuan Gonglu, after listening to the advice of his strategist Yang Hong, also prepared to take Lin Yang's camp outside the city first!

The first day, early in the morning.

"Woo woo woo..."

With the sound of the horn, in the military camp outside Xia Qiu City, Lu Bu took the lead, led more than twenty thousand troops, charged out of the camp, and headed straight for Zang Ba's station!

At the same time, in the Yuan army camp on the other side, thirty thousand troops charged out, flanking Lu Bu from the side, and simultaneously attacked Zang Ba's camp!

"My lord, this Yuan Gonglu wants to swallow these thirty thousand troops!"

Looking at the more than fifty thousand troops charging straight at Zang Ba, Guo Jia couldn't help but shake his head. It was a pity, Yuan Gonglu was thinking too naively!

"Order the army to move out!"

Seeing that Yuan Gonglu and Lu Bu's armies had moved, Lin Yang did not hide it at all and directly engaged them head-on!

"Dong dong dong dong..."

Accompanied by the sound of drums on the city wall, the next moment, the gates of Xia Qiu City opened, and then more than thirty thousand troops charged out of the city, heading straight for Yuan Gonglu's flank!

"Kill... kill... kill..."

As Lin Yang's drum sounds were transmitted, Zang Ba, who was stationed outside the city, also had a solemn expression!

"Sun Guan, you lead twenty thousand troops to immediately flank the Yuan army's side from the side with the troops from the city!"

Saying this to the deputy general beside him, Zang Ba directly led ten thousand troops and headed in the direction of Lu Bu!

On the battlefield, with Lin Yang's initiative to attack, the Yuan army's plan was instantly broken!

The Yuan army, which had originally wanted to swallow Zang Ba's thirty thousand troops, had just touched Zang Ba's camp when they were cut off from the rear by the thirty thousand troops charging out from the city!

"Kill!"

Accompanied by a fierce sound of fighting, the next moment, the two armies collided!

"Clang... clang... clang..."

As the two armies collided, after just one strike, the thirty thousand Yuan troops instantly realized that something was wrong!

"Not good, these people are the Armored Threaded-Steel Army!"

Looking at the Armored Threaded-Steel Army charging out from the army, the momentum of the Yuan army's thirty thousand troops was instantly scared away!

This heavy-armored infantry under Lin Yang's command had long been famous!

At this moment, the threaded steel in their hands danced, like sharp divine weapons, mercilessly harvesting the lives of the soldiers on the field!

The four thousand Threaded-Steel Army made a charge, carrying more than twenty thousand soldiers, and pierced straight through the Yuan army!

With the army formation in chaos, before the thirty thousand Yuan troops could react, Sun Guan led twenty thousand troops and surrounded them again!

"Kill, brothers, the time to build merit and establish a career has come!"

Sun Guan shouted, and the five thousand troops under his direct command followed him straight into the routed soldiers!

After just one round of charging, the thirty thousand troops were attacked from the front and back, and could only be continuously forced back, waiting for reinforcements to arrive!

In front of the Yuan army formation.

"My lord, this Lin Ziyuan has already used his full strength, we can send troops!"

It had only just begun, and Lin Yang had already thrown in sixty thousand troops, with only five thousand left in the city!

If they took the opportunity to swallow these sixty thousand people, then the Battle of Xuzhou could be decided in one battle!

"Zhang Xun, you lead thirty thousand troops to flank from the right and cut off this army's retreat!"

"Understood!"

Upon receiving the order, Zhang Xun immediately led thirty thousand troops to surround Zang Ba and the others from the left!

"Ji Ling, you lead fifty thousand troops to attack from the front, join forces with Lu Bu's army, and break the enemy in front as soon as possible!"

Ji Ling, who received the order, also left again, leading fifty thousand troops straight to the front of Xia Qiu City!

At the same time, he split off twenty thousand troops to join forces with Lu Bu and jointly attack Zang Ba, who was guarding the camp!

For a moment, Yuan Gonglu's army moved out, and Zang Ba and the others, who had originally occupied the advantage outside the city, instantly fell into a disadvantage!

On the city wall, Lin Yang, Guo Jia, Zhao Yun, Lu Su, and others looked at this scene with solemn expressions!

"My lord, the timing is about right!"

Guo Jia took a look at the direction of the army and reminded Lin Yang!

"Good, order the army to retreat to the outside of the Wengcheng!"

Following Lin Yang's order, the generals and soldiers who were resisting below retreated slowly to the rear!

In front of the Yuan army formation, seeing Lin Yang retreat so quickly, Yuan Gonglu couldn't help but laugh!

"Hehe, Xuzhou's Lin Ziyuan is nothing more than this, I..."

"Boom!"

Before he could finish his words, a loud noise exploded!
