Chapter 245: Entering Lunar Orbit

At this point, Zhu Xinghan had already obtained permission.

And after contacting CCTV, they opened the live broadcast source for the entire process.

In that moment, media from any country could directly see the images on the big screen in the command room.

Wu Wei entered the command room.

Zhu Xinghan was staring blankly at the big screen.

"General Commander, is this big screen still the same as before, able to transmit the images from the rocket?"

Wu Wei asked.

"Yes."

Zhu Xinghan said.

"Moreover, this time we are doing a global live broadcast."

"Everyone in the world can see it."

Zhu Xinghan said with a smile: "Almost ready."

"Astronauts enter."

After hearing the call,

Gao Jia Mu and another immediately entered the rocket's landing capsule from the rest room.

Zhu Xinghan watched the various parameters.

He finally confirmed that there were no problems.

"Alright, enter the launch procedure."

With that order from Zhu Xinghan,

Everyone at the entire aviation base became busy.

They began checking a series of procedures.

After ten minutes passed,

Zhu Xinghan finally received the news.

"Everything is ready."

"Alright, the time has come."

"Now, ignite, launch!"

At that moment, the big screen displayed the footage from the external cameras.

Flames spewed from the rocket's base, and the cooling tower beside it also began operating.

The entire space base was instantly enveloped in smoke and mist.

The rocket rose slowly.

It shot straight toward the horizon.

In the command room, Zhu Xinghan stared intently at the various parameters on the instruments.

Afraid that even a slight mishap might occur.

Meanwhile, in the live broadcast room,

Dongda's netizens began various praises.

While Xiao Ri Zi and Cold Country's netizens hurled various curses.

"Why hasn't it exploded yet?"

"Hurry up and explode!"

"This rocket is so small; it definitely can't make it up—it won't fall apart midway, will it?"

Meanwhile, in Eagle Country's live broadcast room,

the scene was quite different.

"Just Dongda, still thinking about landing on the moon?"

"Isn't that overestimating oneself!"

"We already landed on the moon during the Apollo program of the last century."

"Landing again now is useless."

"Exactly, President Te Mei Pu even said Eagle Country wants to land on the moon again."

"I estimate that Dongda's moon landing this time will definitely fail."

"I dare bet this mission will absolutely fail; they haven't even mastered NASA's technology from the last century."

"Oh my God, look at your rocket debris; stop creating more space junk!"

"Eagle Country is invincible; if you want to land on the moon, you still have to look at President Te Mei Pu's plan."

Now, the return capsule has already flown outside the atmosphere.

It began accelerating around Earth using a gravity slingshot.

Zhu Xinghan is now noticeably much more relaxed.

Seeing this, Wu Wei immediately asked Zhu Xinghan: "General Commander, what are our astronauts doing now?"

Zhu Xinghan immediately replied to the camera: "Our astronauts are currently using the gravity slingshot method to accelerate."

"After all, if we don't accelerate, the time will be very long."

"After all, even the moon is still very far away from us."

"But there's no need to worry."

"We have now almost reached the halfway point of the journey."

"Look, they can already see the moon."

Zhu Xinghan pointed at the big screen and said.

"Taking advantage of this time, could you tell us the steps needed to land on the Moon?"

Wu Wei said.

"Okay."

"Actually, landing on the Moon is a very difficult thing."

"After all, from rocket launch, then to the space station, then to spacewalk."

"Dongda's space journey has also been step by step."

"In this process, we have also taken many detours."

"Having said that, the steps needed to land on the Moon are actually quite simple."

Zhu Xinghan laughed and said: "You just need to do it as usual."

"Send the astronauts out of Earth."

"It's basically the same as how we usually enter the space station."

"It's just that the Moon is farther away."

"Our astronauts are now on their way."

"Next, they will be attracted by the Moon's gravity."

"They will loiter in the Moon's orbit."

"When they reach our selected landing site."

"The return capsule will then descend, just like re-entering Earth."

"Except the Moon has no atmosphere."

"We need to control the speed more carefully."

Zhu Xinghan finished speaking.

The barrage in Dongda's live stream instantly exploded.

"Mmm, I've completely learned it."

"Where is the rocket now?"

"Ah, it seems I can do it too; let's go together."

"Don't think the commander's words are simple; actually each step is especially difficult."

"Back then, from manned spaceflight to spacewalk, we spent a full ten years."

"This road is not simple at all."

And while Dongda's netizens were having a heated discussion.

Zhang Wen Zheng constantly followed Dongda's return capsule.

Afraid that something unexpected might happen.

Zhang Wen even sprayed the Kunpeng pure black.

Just to be able to hide his own trail.

So it could blend with the black cosmic background.

The communication channel has also been continuously connected to the return capsule.

Zhang Wen thus followed the astronauts and arrived at the Moon's orbit.

In the command room of the space base.

Zhu Xinghan now also has no time to manage the livestream.

He closely monitored every change in the data.

Finally, after three minutes.

He let out a long breath.

"Alright, they have now entered the Moon's orbit."

"This step can be considered completed."

"Although we have already used the lunar rover, that is, Moon Rabbit One, Two, Three, many times."

"But it's still nerve-wracking."

"Then could you tell us where the danger lies?"

Wu Wei saw that Zhu Xinghan had free time.

He immediately asked.

"There are many dangerous points."

"After all, the Moon is also moving."

"Gravity in space is also constantly changing."

"What we can control is only the spacecraft's speed."

"This speed cannot be too fast, nor too slow."

"If it's too fast, there's a chance of directly crashing into the Moon."

"In that case, the landing pressure would be huge."

"The fuel on the spacecraft would be excessively consumed."

"After all, they are in outer space, with no condition to refuel at any time."

After Wu Wei heard Zhu Xinghan's explanation.

Only then did he suddenly understand.

"No wonder I see you so focused."

"And at this moment, inside the Eagle Country livestream."

"Then the pot exploded."

"What?"

"They've actually already entered Moon orbit?"

"Isn't the next step just a direct moon landing?"

"Why aren't there any meteorites in space?",

"Quickly just smash their astronauts to death."

"Even if they really could successfully land on the Moon."

"That would also be useless."

"The world will remember that, in history, the first country to land humans on the Moon is Eagle Country."

"The first person to land on the Moon is an Eagle Country person!"

"And at this moment."

"Wu Wei suddenly asked."

"So where is our destination this time?"
