Chapter 6: Killing the King Kong Ape

"There is a Bamboo Mountain here!"

Ye Tian walked up and saw various thick bamboos.

Bamboo also belongs to one of the Wood Element materials, but these ordinary bamboos were certainly of no use to him.

He wanted to look for spirit bamboo; if he could find spirit bamboo, it would be nice to cut it down and take it back.

Like the Red Sun Tree, it was too large and the whole body was tough, so he had no way to take it away.

Soon, he arrived at the top of the Bamboo Mountain.

"That is..."

Ye Tian's gaze was fixed on a purple-gold bamboo; its whole body emitted a faint purple-gold light. The bamboo was not thick, with a diameter of less than ten centimeters, and had about a dozen segments.

If his guess was not wrong, it should be spirit bamboo—Purple Gold Bamboo!

Purple Gold Bamboo has the effect of gathering Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy; such spirit bamboo must have a guardian beast.

Suddenly, his expression became solemn and he grew nervous.

However, he observed the surroundings but did not find the guardian beast of the Purple Gold Bamboo, so he stopped waiting.

Crack!

Ye Tian kept applying force, and only after a few minutes did he manage to break the Purple Gold Bamboo, then he prepared to leave this place with this stalk of Purple Gold Bamboo.

But just as he was about to leave, he discovered a spring.

He touched the spring water with his hand and felt a surge of energy; this was not ordinary spring water.

And not long after.

【Water Power +1】

At this moment, he finally knew what this spring water was.

Spirit Spring Water!

His Water Talent Ability had already reached E-Grade, and to be able to absorb Wood Power so quickly at this time, it must be Spirit Spring Water!

"Staying here for an hour or two, I can definitely raise my Water Talent Ability to D-Grade, or even C-Grade!"

He wanted to stay here.

Thus, he soaked in the spirit spring, with one hand still clutching the Purple Gold Bamboo.

In this way, he could absorb both Water Power and Wood Power at the same time.

【Wood Power +1】

【Water Power +1】

He watched his Water Talent Ability and Wood Talent Ability improve bit by bit, and his mood was very good.

However, the Wood Talent Ability itself had already reached C-Grade, so it took a long time to gain a point of Wood Power; conversely, he gained quite a bit of Water Power very quickly.

After about an hour had passed, Ye Tian's Water Talent Ability finally improved to D-Grade.

At this time, his physical fitness finally improved a bit more.

"Continue soaking in the Spirit Spring Water!"

After soaking for about another ten minutes, suddenly a sound appeared.

Immediately, he came out of the spirit spring.

Abruptly.

A King Kong Ape with a massive body came rushing from afar, its body still covered in quite a few bloodstains.

"It's a Level 1 Monster Beast, King Kong Ape!"

Ye Tian's expression also changed.

His current cultivation was only that of an Intermediate Ability Apprentice, and there was a huge gap between him and a Level 1 Monster Beast, not to mention this kind of Level 1 Monster Beast!

A monster beast like this could slap him to death with one paw!

And at this moment, seeing that its spirit bamboo had been cut by Ye Tian and that he had occupied its spirit spring, the King Kong Ape immediately revealed murderous intent.

"Not good, this seems to be the King Kong Ape's lair; I've been targeted!!!"

Ye Tian wanted to flee, but looking at the King Kong Ape's speed, he had no speed-type Strange Art and definitely could not outrun it.

"This King Kong Ape is injured, and it seems the injury is not light; perhaps I can fight it!"

Ye Tian gritted his teeth and decided to act.

Although he had not yet reached the realm of an Ability User, his strength was definitely not weaker than an Ability User, and his physical body was strong, possessing five Innate Abilities, so he might not necessarily lose.

Twenty meters!

Fifteen meters!

Ten meters!

"Gold Needle Technique!"

Ye Tian waved his hand, and the Small Success realm Gold Needle Technique was unleashed; a golden needle attacked the King Kong Ape's eyes at extreme speed.

The King Kong Ape's physical defense was terrifying; the Small Success realm Gold Needle Technique definitely could not break its defense, so he had to attack its eyes.

The King Kong Ape reacted very quickly; it closed its eyes, and the golden needle hit its eyelid but did not injure its eyeball.

And the next moment, the King Kong Ape had already closed in and slapped toward Ye Tian with one paw.

"Water Shield Technique!!!"

The Entry Level Water Shield Technique formed a Water Element shield to protect him.

But under the King Kong Ape's attack, the Water Shield Technique was of no use at all.

Crack!

The Water Shield Technique was shattered in one blow, and the ape's paw continued to descend.

At this time, Ye Tian concentrated his Earth Element Ability, Metal Element Ability, Fire Element Ability, and Wood Element Ability onto the skin of his body, attempting to increase his defensive power to withstand the King Kong Ape's slap.

In the absence of other defensive Strange Arts, he could only use this crude method to increase his defense.

Bang!

Ye Tian was sent flying by a single strike, and the four types of ability powers on his skin were all scattered.

Fortunately, his physical constitution was relatively strong, so he withstood it head-on; his Qi and blood were merely churning, and there was nothing seriously wrong.

"As expected, this King Kong Ape is severely injured; otherwise, even with my excellent physical constitution, I definitely wouldn't have been able to withstand a single strike!"

Just as this King Kong Ape continued its attack, Ye Tian cast the Water Sprinkling Technique.

Whoosh!

A mass of clear water landed on the head of the King Kong Ape, and under the impact of the water flow, it subconsciously closed its eyes.

Meanwhile, Ye Tian cast the Gold Needle Technique, waiting for the very moment the King Kong Ape opened its eyes.

Sure enough, once the King Kong Ape felt the water was gone, it opened its eyes.

"Now is the time!"

Pfft!

The gold needle condensed from the Gold Needle Technique directly pierced through the eye of the King Kong Ape.

Immediately, the King Kong Ape began to shriek, and a large amount of blood flowed out from its eye.

"There are no trash Strange Arts, it just depends on whether you know how to use them!"

No one would have thought that a mere Water Sprinkling Technique combined with the Gold Needle Technique could actually injure the King Kong Ape.

However, after its eye was blinded, the King Kong Ape became even more violent.

"Water Shield Technique!"

Ye Tian used the Water Shield Technique to protect himself again, but the Water Shield Technique was shattered once more, and his body was also sent flying over ten meters by the King Kong Ape.

Water Shield Technique!

Water Shield Technique!

Water Shield Technique!

Ye Tian cast it time and time again, and finally, his Water Shield Technique broke through its shackles and entered the Small Success Realm.

The defensive effect of the Water Shield Technique at the Small Success Realm was doubled.

This time, when the King Kong Ape attacked Ye Tian again, it only just barely managed to break the Water Shield Technique, but lacked the strength to injure Ye Tian further.

Of course.

Ye Tian's Water Element ability power was already nearly exhausted.

But the condition of the King Kong Ape was also getting worse and worse; he used the Water Sprinkling Technique combined with the Gold Needle Technique again, and it succeeded once more, blinding the other eye of the King Kong Ape.

Having lost both eyes, the King Kong Ape could no longer see anything, and naturally, it could not hit Ye Tian.

Consequently.

Ye Tian would occasionally use the Gold Needle Technique to attack the weak points on the King Kong Ape's body.

Ten minutes later.

The King Kong Ape could no longer hold on, collapsed, and turned into a corpse.

"Phew, finally took it down!"

Ye Tian sat down on the ground and let out a sigh of relief.

At this moment, not only was his Water Element ability power exhausted, but his Metal Element ability power was also depleted, and his other three types of ability powers were more than half gone.

"A King Kong Ape possessing an A-Grade bloodline must be worth quite a few points; I'll take a photo and upload it first!"

Ye Tian quickly took a photo and uploaded it.

Very soon, the points were credited.

"It actually added 500 points; this time I might be able to enter the Top Ten!"

Ye Tian smiled.

Moreover, a King Kong Ape corpse was even more valuable than the corpses of some Level Two Beasts; it could probably be sold for a lot of money.

Afterwards, he soaked in the spiritual spring water, recovering his physical strength and ability power while absorbing the Water Power.

Not long after, Lin Qingya and the other six people arrived here.

"This King Kong Ape ran to its own lair; it probably wanted to use the things here to heal its wounds. Kill it quickly!"

But when they arrived on Bamboo Mountain, they saw the corpse of the King Kong Ape and Ye Tian, who was soaking in the spiritual spring water.
