Chapter 1007: An Eye for an Eye (Part 2)

Amidst the chaos over at the military camp, four squads of Chameleon Mercenaries quickly arrived in the vicinity of the camp.

"Remember, leave no one alive!"

Following the order from a Chameleon Mercenaries Commander over the communication channel.

All the mercenaries who had arrived near the camp raised the weapons in their hands in unison.

The weapons in their hands were noticeably heavier than the standard-issue rifles used by various nations on Earth.

And in fact, that was indeed the case; after all, this rifle weighed as much as 31 kilograms, far heavier than the squad machine guns of many countries on Earth.

If not for the fact that all the Chameleon Mercenaries were wearing those Exoskeleton Combat Suits, it is doubtful that many could have fought while holding this weapon for long.

"Snipers, take out the guards on the camp's high towers!"

This all-purpose individual weapon system named 'Electromagnetic Multi-functional Combat Rifle' was truly worthy of its name.

It was an all-purpose individual weapon system designed and manufactured by Decepticon Engineers, utilizing technology more advanced than that of any nation on Earth, based on the conceptual designs for future individual weapon systems held by various countries on Earth.

This weapon system was a type of electromagnetic weapon, yet it could switch between 'Normal', 'Sniper', and 'Demolition' modes as needed.

The bullets used and fired in Normal Mode were all energy bullets, which could not only destroy communication equipment containing electronic components but could also artificially disrupt the human body's bio-field, causing sudden death.

Sniper Mode naturally goes without saying; in this mode, the weapon would extend its barrel and change the scope to a high-magnification lens, capable of using electromagnetic propulsion to fire a small amount of needle-shaped ammunition configured in a special magazine to kill targets at a range of up to 1,600 meters, causing the target to die rapidly once a vital part was struck.

Demolition Mode could be considered an enhanced version of Normal Mode; the energy bullets fired in this mode had power comparable to a grenade, capable of not only causing area-of-effect damage to a region but also damaging tanks, armored personnel carriers, and other protected weapons by destroying their internal electronic components.

However, although this 'Electromagnetic Multi-functional Combat Rifle' was advanced, every single one was a major energy consumer, and the ammunition required was mostly energy, which needed to be replenished via special Energy Magazines.

A single one of these magazines weighed nearly 14 kilograms, reaching almost half the total weight of the entire weapon system.

Therefore, it could perform well in assault operations, but its effectiveness was undoubtedly greatly reduced when facing large-scale total war.

However, it was enough!

A sudden slaughter descended, and dense gunfire and screams soon rang out within this not-so-large military camp.

Explosions followed, and the increasingly close screams made Major Huo Si and his men realize that things were going wrong.

Experienced as he was, he already understood that the explosions that had just rung out in the camp were likely caused by an attack from electromagnetic-type weapons.

But soon, he had no time to think about these things.

The speed at which those soldiers in black Exoskeleton Combat Suits were slaughtering was far beyond their imagination.

The military camp was suspected to have suffered an electromagnetic attack; all heavy weaponry, equipment, and communication systems of this Bahai military camp were destroyed.

After suffering the sudden attack, the Brazilian Navy soldiers throughout the entire military camp fell into chaos.

And they were clearly unable to face this abruptly attacking unknown army, with screams ringing out from time to time.
