Chapter 157: Prepare to Fight
Emerging from the raided base, Sun Cheng wandered aimlessly through the Daxia for a long time, yet he still could not find his way out of the canyon.
Raid is going to sleep!
Although this guy had likely never looked at him squarely, and had even left behind some hidden tricks in the Worker and Spider he traded to him.
But now, upon hearing that he was using sleep as an excuse to leave, even though Raid had left his base to Sun Cheng before departing, he still felt not a shred of joy; instead, he felt a chill pour down from the top of his head, leaving his entire body cold.
"Is the water very deep?"
Chewing over these words from Raid repeatedly, he could hear that this was a warning from the other party.
Especially that line, "How could a student trained by a Prime die so easily," scared him into a cold sweat.
Heaven knows, during the Battle of Las Vegas, Sun Cheng had held the same idea of fishing in troubled waters as Raid, and his performance was far inferior to Blackout.
At the time, he hadn't felt much, but after returning to the base post-battle and recalling his previous performance, Sun Cheng was scared into a cold sweat by his own overly blatant behavior.
He had even felt fortunate that the American boy Sam had forcibly replaced Megatron; otherwise, if that tyrant had truly survived the post-war period, his own life would certainly not have lasted any longer than an Autobot's.
Since Raid had mentioned that Megatron could not die easily, Sun Cheng inexplicably found himself believing it more.
For no other reason than that the other party was Megatron, the leader of the Decepticon Legion, a ruthless man who had once commanded the Decepticons to win two civil wars and had nearly wiped out the Autobots.
From his inexplicable disappearance for nearly a hundred years, to his bizarre appearance in Sector 7, and finally his sudden death.
Now, savoring it again, he truly felt a sense of strangeness permeating it all.
The stupor lasted for more than half an hour before Sun Cheng finally let out a long breath, emerging from the shock brought on by Raid's words.
He looked up at the sky, his gaze passing through the night sky to stare fixedly at the bright Moon hanging in the southeast, only shaking his head and withdrawing his gaze after a good while.
"Whatever Prime from the Council of Ancients era, it's still too far away from me... For now, I'd better find a way to solve the immediate problem left behind by the cooperation between the Autobots and humans!"
After finally clearing his thoughts, Sun Cheng no longer had any intention of continuing to wander around the Daxia.
After re-identifying his direction, he leaped up, quickly flew into the high sky, and disappeared into the ten-thousand-meter horizon.
Time is like water, passing in a flash.
After the Starscream base, located in the suburbs of Tucson with an extremely hidden geographical position, was found and destroyed by the Autobots, Sun Cheng had completely determined that the United States was no longer safe.
Although he did not know how the Autobots had found Starscream's base, he knew that since the other party could find his base, the exposure of his Base No. 1 located in Colorado was likely only a matter of time.
For the sake of caution, in addition to maintaining the daily tasks of Base No. 1, he had stopped all modification tasks at Base No. 1 and began to send the numerous pieces of equipment within Base No. 1 to Brazil in batches.
"... Phew, four batches have already been sent, why are there still so many things..."
Returning from Brazil again and carefully entering Base No. 1, Sun Cheng couldn't help but frown as he looked at the numerous machines and equipment piled up in Laboratory One.
"Master, except for the power supply system and the machines and equipment in this laboratory that are still working, the equipment in the other laboratories has all been moved here according to your requirements..."
Worker No. 1, along with Worker No. 3 and No. 4 who were still guarding the base, moved a machine over from a laboratory and replied softly.
Sun Cheng glanced at the machine the Workers were moving and immediately recognized it as a 28nm Lithography Machine, which was also the most advanced lithography machine he could purchase on the market in the United States.
The Decepticons naturally had no use for this machine; the reason Sun Cheng had purchased it was originally intended to use the Decepticons' abilities to enhance and upgrade it to the 14/16nm standard, and then bring it back to the real world, where it would be absolutely more precious than pure gold.
Now, looking at them again, they were somewhat of an eyesore.
Sun Cheng nodded but did not speak; Atlas and the other Workers and Spiders had already been sent away by him, and now only these three remained in Base No. 1.
The Spherical Space within his body was not small; although the Hunter's spaceship had been stored in the space by him, there was still plenty of room available to store other things. If he used it for transport, one or two trips would be enough for him to move everything in Base No. 1 away.
However, considering that every time he stored or retrieved items from the Spherical Space, it consumed energy, he resisted doing so.
Waving his hand to dismiss the Workers, and with no outsiders left in the laboratory, Sun Cheng walked over to a pile of equipment to inspect it carefully.
Since discovering this abandoned Nuclear Missile Silo four months ago and occupying it, he had been continuously using the convenience of the Decepticon intrusion network to order various equipment online. To date, the equipment he had purchased amounted to no less than one billion US dollars.
Among these, only a small portion of the equipment was something he and the Workers could use; more were purchased for his own self in reality. Although there were various scattered pieces of equipment, they all shared one characteristic: they were all high-precision equipment that was difficult to buy in China in reality.
Some of this equipment, if not for his Decepticon identity allowing him to forge various documents, would have been difficult for Sun Cheng to buy even while in the United States.
Now, although his heart still ached for the energy consumption, he made up his mind to store these hard-to-get pieces of equipment into the Spherical Space first, to avoid having to abandon them in a hurry if the Autobots suddenly attacked.
After carefully picking through the pile of cluttered machinery and equipment for a while, Sun Cheng quickly packed all the equipment prepared for his return to reality into it.
Just as he was busy, suddenly, the screen in front of a Server he had placed in a corner of the laboratory lit up.
Sun Cheng, still busy among the pile of machines, paused. Being very sensitive to electromagnetic signals, he immediately walked over to the Server and took a look, and sure enough, he found that a precision email had appeared in the Server.
"From Nuoweisi?"
He muttered to himself, extended his finger, inserted it into the Server's port, and prepared to read the received file.
Before Las Vegas, Sun Cheng had made many arrangements to prevent sudden attacks.
Infiltrating the Nuoweisi Ground Radar Monitoring Station in the United States was one of them. He had also left a backdoor program in all the working computers at the Nuoweisi ground station. Whenever Nuoweisi received new data on meteors falling within the United States, it would automatically send a backup file to him through the backdoor program.
With his finger transformed and inserted into the Server, Sun Cheng's powerful Core scanned the Server, and he quickly finished reading the information in the newly received email.
A few seconds later, Sun Cheng's face darkened. His gaze stared fixedly at the images that had suddenly popped up on the screen in front of him, which were clearly different from ordinary meteors, and cold light flickered in his eyes.
"New Autobots?"
As he saw, the images captured several bizarre meteors surrounded by fire, within which the metallic luster could still be vaguely seen.
Immediately recognizing this as the most common interstellar travel method for the mechanical lifeforms of Cybertron, his heart was left with nothing but heaviness.
In an instant, a voice seemed to ring out in Sun Cheng's mind!
Prepare to fight!

I uploaded a chapter yesterday without finishing it, and modified it half an hour later. I didn't expect the subscriptions for that chapter to soar by nearly 60% compared to other chapters. Is it true that a small, unpopular author gets no subscriptions without anti-theft measures?
To the readers whose reading experience was affected by the high subscription count, Battleship I can only say sorry here.
