Chapter 61: Encountering Bumblebee

"I was just talking about him, how did this guy arrive so quickly!"

Carrying a docile Decepticon Worker, he sent a reply to Blackout as soon as he left the base of Brawl.

Returning to his own base, Sun Cheng changed his demeanor from when he was in front of Brawl; the wariness he had previously shown was gone from his face.

That guy Blackout, if he was truly as he appeared in the memories of Frenzy that he had acquired, would be at least easier to deal with than the likes of Soundwave or Starscream.

As Megatron's right-hand man, Blackout had always been a standout among Decepticon Warriors.

What made it even harder was that this guy's loyalty to Megatron was unwavering, which was especially precious among the Decepticons, who never lacked selfish people and conspirators.

This guy was not hard to get along with, or rather, apart from a few people like Megatron and Shockwave, Blackout simply couldn't be bothered to pay attention to anyone.

Judging from the memories of Frenzy that Sun Cheng had received, Blackout was an action-oriented person who trusted his own abilities more; even without that business with Soundwave, he reckoned that after arriving on Earth, he would still have acted independently as before.

However, the only thing he couldn't quite grasp was whether this guy had sent him a communication summoning him over just to ask about the progress of finding Megatron and the AllSpark.

After sending a communication back, Sun Cheng did not receive a reply from Blackout, but he was not in a hurry to set off.

He spent a little time roughly inspecting the Worker he had brought back from Brawl; this kind of low-level Decepticon grunt specialized in production was actually quite useful, as its Core stored a considerable amount of various production technologies from the planet Cybertron, which was an unexpected gain from his trip to see Brawl.

After confirming that no hidden tricks had been left by Brawl, Sun Cheng then gave it orders again; with it helping him manage the base, he wouldn't have to rack his brains over the most trivial daily maintenance.

After finishing his work, Sun Cheng left the base and set off, preparing to meet Blackout.

The location where Blackout landed was inconvenient; after receiving the geographic coordinates, Sun Cheng knew the place—it was in Mauritania, Africa, an ocean away from the United States. That place was far away, and at his speed, he had plenty of flying to do.

The United States was currently relaxed on the outside but tense on the inside, so he didn't dare to fly high or fast, and thus it took him thirteen hours to fly into the territory of Houston, Texas.

Because he had his early warning function on the whole time, just after passing Dallas, seeing that he would be able to reach New Orleans in a while, Sun Cheng was suddenly alerted.

His Core captured a set of strange frequencies that were somewhat similar to the Decepticons but also a bit different; this discovery made him pause for a moment, but he quickly reacted.

"Autobot?"

Unnamed emotions suddenly surfaced on his face; Sun Cheng was a bit curious. He had seen many images of Autobots in Frenzy's memories, but just like how Asians completely couldn't tell the difference between British, French, and German people, he really couldn't distinguish the differences between the two from their appearance.

Unable to help but lock onto the other party's frequency, Sun Cheng decided to take a detour. Although he wouldn't be like other Decepticons who would rush up to shout and kill upon seeing an Autobot, it would never be wrong to go and test the other party's bottom line first.

On the highway heading south to Houston, a very old yellow Chevrolet Camaro sports car was speeding along the road at a speed completely inconsistent with its appearance.

He was Bumblebee. As a brave warrior of the Autobot faction from the planet Cybertron, before the civil war was about to end and the Autobots were about to be defeated, he was sent away from Cybertron by the Leader Optimus Prime to track down Megatron, who had disappeared into the long galaxy.

Not long after, he lost the other party's trail and could only helplessly search everywhere along the footprints the other party might have left, until he captured a set of Decepticon probes in an asteroid belt outside a star system in a remote corner of the Milky Way.

This discovery immediately made Bumblebee, who had been searching aimlessly for decades, excited. Afterward, he decisively entered the Solar System, and soon he discovered the peculiarity of this star system located in a remote corner of the Milky Way.

It had actually nurtured a life-bearing planet!

It was truly incredible!

In order to track Megatron and incidentally search for the holy relic of the planet Cybertron—the AllSpark—Bumblebee had searched everywhere in the Milky Way for over a hundred years. He had crossed countless star systems more magnificent than the Solar System, and during that time, he had only encountered two or three star systems that managed to nurture life-bearing planets, and all of them were still before the birth of civilization.

A planet like Earth, which not only nurtured life and gave birth to civilization but also had a civilization developed to a certain level, was rare even when looking at the entire Milky Way.

Out of curiosity, and also worried that this place would be invaded by Decepticons, he quietly landed on Earth.

As a result, Bumblebee soon felt that he had come to the right place.

He was being watched. The one who discovered him was not the humans on this planet, but a pair of old rivals he was no stranger to, Reflector and the other one from the Decepticon Legion of the planet Cybertron.

He landed in Antarctica, and just as he was hiding in a Latin American country carefully observing human civilization, he accidentally encountered Reflector and the other one who had clearly followed him.

Although the other party couldn't beat him, once they started fighting, they would dive into crowded places. To avoid causing collateral damage, he could only watch them escape and then stick to him again shortly after.

As a result, they fought all the way north until they reached the United States, where he finally found an opportunity to severely injure Reflector and the other one. But just as Bumblebee was about to completely eliminate those two disgusting Decepticons, the other party actually summoned Reflector to block him for a moment, and then very decisively sold out their teammates and ran away!

Unexpectedly, after that, while he was hunting down Reflector, he almost encountered a team of Decepticons.

Sensing that there was an Elite Warrior in that team of Decepticons whose combat power was even higher than his own, Bumblebee decisively chose to retreat, but it was precisely that encounter that made him sense a bad omen!

With so many Decepticons, why did they come to a planet in such a remote corner of the Milky Way?

In order to figure this out, after he lost the tracking of the Camera Trio, he conversely took the initiative to search for the traces of the Decepticons.

Driving fast on the endless highway, Bumblebee's search function was also constantly activated.

Suddenly, a line of dialogue from a movie popped out of his sound system, which had not yet been repaired.

"... found the Germans..."

Capturing a set of fluctuations from the Decepticons in the sky, Bumblebee calmly locked onto the other party's position, scanned the vicinity carefully, and quietly turned into a side road, moving away from the high-traffic highway.

Seeing that the other party was still following him, he couldn't help but sneer. Just after the other party flew a little lower, he suddenly transformed back into his human form, raised his Laser Cannon, and fired a shot at the sky.
