"Could this be considered saving Optimus Prime's life?"
Fiddling with the silver-gray Long Spear in his hands, Sun Cheng stood at the peak of the Nameless Pyramid, gazing into the southern night sky.
What he held in his grip was none other than the Requiem Blaster, the weapon of Megatronus, one of the legendary thirteen Primes of Cybertron.
This was a silver-gray Long Spear over eight meters long, weighing 5.27 tons, crafted from an unknown metal, with the shaft covered in various intricate patterns.
This weapon, which had its countermeasures activated after Megatronus fell to become The Fallen, had now transformed into a spear that consumed its master.
When Sun Cheng picked it up, this divine artifact automatically awakened from its slumber and began to frantically drain the energy from his body.
"What a spear that consumes its master!"
In the two times he had held it for a total of less than five minutes, more than one-third of the energy in Sun Cheng's body had been drained away.
Now he could be absolutely certain that this spear he had found in the Stellar Extraction Tower was indeed the legendary divine artifact—the Requiem Blaster.
"No wonder The Fallen eventually abandoned you..."
A weapon with greatly reduced power that would also constantly devour its master's internal energy was no different from trash to a Warrior like The Fallen.
Using it as the Core of the Stellar Extraction Tower could be considered its final use.
Having obtained the data he wanted, Sun Cheng moved his mind, and the Requiem Blaster was stored away into his Spherical Space.
The Requiem Blaster seemed to possess a faint self-awareness; when he picked up the weapon, he felt an emotion called anger and resentment emanating from it.
It was as if the Requiem Blaster was angry at being abandoned and resentful of its former master.
However, its intelligence was not high; Sun Cheng had just tested it, and as long as it was not brought into direct contact with an energy source or a Mechanical Life, or switched to an unactivated robot, it would not absorb energy from within.
It was for this reason that he could safely place this spear that consumes its master into the Spherical Space.
"Master, when are we evacuating?"
Leiting gazed into the distant sky; after four or five hours of chaos, the Cairo authorities had finally managed to sort out the area of the previous Missile attack from the numerous reports and early warning messages.
Consequently, a helicopter belonging to the military was dispatched, taking off from a military Base somewhere northeast of Cairo and flying toward the Nameless Pyramid to scout the situation in the attacked area.
Sun Cheng also noticed the helicopter getting closer, but he merely glanced at it calmly before looking away.
"Evacuate? We can't leave anymore!"
They truly could not leave, because a powerful Mechanical Life was already less than dozens of kilometers away from the Pyramid.
Earlier, just as Sun Cheng destroyed the Stellar Extraction Tower and took the Requiem Blaster from its Core, he felt a connection form in the dark between himself and the original owner of this divine artifact—The Fallen.
Sun Cheng sensed his anger; it seemed that The Fallen was furious, never having expected that anyone on Earth would dare to challenge his majesty.
He was already rushing here, and with The Fallen's flight speed, which absolutely exceeded Mach 10, a few dozen kilometers would be nothing more than the blink of an eye.
Ignoring the helicopter that was getting closer to them, Sun Cheng looked at the southern sky, his mood incomparably calm at this moment.
"... Scavenger, have you experienced the Cybertronian Civil War?"
He suddenly spoke, asking Scavenger, who was standing not far behind him with red light flickering in his eyes, wondering what he was thinking.
Scavenger paused at these words and did not speak.
Sun Cheng did not blame him or continue to press him, but instead looked up at the somewhat hazy night sky.
At an altitude of ten thousand meters, six drones that looked exactly like Global Hawks were circling at their flight limit of nearly twenty thousand meters.
Data was constantly being aggregated to Sun Cheng; his fingers tapped a few times imperceptibly on the sand below the Pyramid, and time passed bit by bit.
"Master..."
Leiting soon captured a shocking energy reaction and, with his expression changing drastically, came to Sun Cheng's side, "A powerful Decepticon is coming!"
He could not distinguish between the energy reactions of a Decepticon and The Fallen; in fact, neither could Sun Cheng.
Because their electromagnetic fluctuations were equally violent and chaotic; if one had to say there was a difference, it was probably that the latter's were even more violent and chaotic.
"You all evacuate!"
Sun Cheng looked calmly at a strange aircraft in the distant sky and issued the order to evacuate to Leiting and Scavenger.
Scavenger was stunned, and Leiting's reaction was even more intense.
"Master, we should evacuate together!"
"The Fallen will not let me leave..." Sun Cheng's tone became increasingly indifferent, "Leave quickly, there won't be a chance if you don't go now!"
As soon as Scavenger heard it was The Fallen, he leaped from the top of the Pyramid and ran to the bottom of the Pyramid in a few steps.
Only then did he notice that on the sandy ground below the Pyramid, more than a dozen containers of various sizes had appeared at some unknown time.
"Master..."
Leiting wanted to persuade him further, but was interrupted by Sun Cheng waving his hand, "Immediately, go and rendezvous with Pioneer and the others!"
His voice was a bit more solemn than before, and a bit more impatient.
Leiting was silent for a moment, then leaped into mid-air, transformed back into his fighter jet form, and flew toward the Mediterranean Sea.
At the Pyramid, only Sun Cheng remained, along with an Egyptian helicopter hovering at an altitude of four or five hundred meters, constantly shining its searchlight on the top of the Pyramid, daring neither to approach nor to call out.
Above the sky, with a sensation like the distortion of space and time, The Fallen had already arrived at the Giza Plateau, at the Nameless Pyramid.
He looked at Sun Cheng, who was standing on top of the Pyramid with a calm expression, his face full of ferocity: "Traitor, how dare you take my things..."
"What powerful and chaotic electromagnetic fluctuations..."
Sun Cheng watched The Fallen, who was furious and exasperated, with interest, until he saw him reveal a mouth full of ferocious fangs, and he had become very impatient.
Only then did he speak slowly, "You know, The Fallen..."
"For a long time, I have been thinking about a question: Megatron wants my life, the Autobots could turn on me at any time... there is no one in the Decepticon Legion I can trust, and even my own subordinates might turn against me during a battle... so how should I protect myself on this planet?"
The clinking sound of metal could not be completely hidden within Sun Cheng's voice.
But The Fallen only glanced at where the sound came from; it was below the Pyramid, at the dozen or so containers of various sizes.
"I kept thinking... and thinking... and finally, I found a way..."
"That way is... whoever wants my life, I will drag them to hell with me!"
"So, The Fallen... are you ready?"
Sun Cheng looked at The Fallen calmly, then suddenly bared his teeth in a smile at him, "Do you want to accompany me to see what hell looks like?"
