Chapter 641: A Complete Break (End) Please Subscribe

"What on earth are those idiots in the Navy thinking? Do they really think they can deal with the Autobots by relying on the few of us here?"

Major William's face turned black with anger; he never would have imagined that he had specifically arranged for his adjutant to inform the naval command ship, located over a hundred kilometers away on the Red Sea, about the complex situation here.

Yet, they had turned around and stabbed him in the back.

They actually continued to order the transport helicopters to carry away two Autobot corpses right in front of the Autobot Leader.

What kind of behavior is this?

Calling it a provocation would not be an exaggeration at all!

Ironhide, who had just loosened one hand and was preparing to let go of that Cobra Attack Helicopter, saw this scene and immediately grabbed the Cobra Attack Helicopter again, which was preparing to ascend.

Optimus Prime was also angered, but the Leader's good upbringing and composure allowed him to hold back, "Ironhide, let go of that helicopter!"

He then looked at Major William again, "Major, I hope you can resolve this matter!"

Major William nodded with a stiff scalp, then hurriedly pressed the command communicator he was wearing to contact the two Navy helicopters in the sky.

"I am Tombstone Commander—William, immediately stop transporting the Autobot corpses... repeat, immediately stop transporting the Autobot corpses..."

"Sorry, sir... our orders are to immediately transport the alien corpses to the USS San Antonio!"

The USS San Antonio mentioned by that Navy transport helicopter pilot referred to the first launched vessel of the United States' San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock.

It was also one of the participating warships in this Navy operation to steal Autobot corpses; otherwise, how could they transport Autobot corpses weighing anywhere from several tons to dozens of tons?

The Navy transport aircraft refused to obey Major William's command, which made him both furious and fearful.

He had been dealing with the Autobots for over a year and had some understanding of Optimus Prime and the others.

Especially the hot-tempered Ironhide; don't look at how he was now reluctantly letting go of that Cobra Attack Helicopter at Optimus Prime's request.

But this compromise had a prerequisite, which was that the Autobots still believed Major William could control the situation.

Once the situation spiraled out of control and the Navy continued to court death regardless, I am afraid a battle would be inevitable today.

Major William still wanted to try to negotiate, but the Navy, as the "First-Class People," truly displayed their overbearing style from the past half-century to the fullest.

Clearly, the bombing operation in Jordan not long ago made the Americans feel they were capable again.

Just look, while Major William was still trying to negotiate, the two helicopters over there, amidst the roar of their engines, had already each slung an Autobot corpse and flown from a dozen meters off the ground to an altitude of twenty or thirty meters, looking as if they were about to leave.

"It seems it is useless for you to speak, Major..."

Optimus Prime looked at Major William and shook his head regretfully.

He was also thoroughly angered by the shamelessness and tyranny of the Americans at this moment, and he no longer stopped the already enraged Ironhide.

"Ironhide, shoot them down!"

Optimus Prime knew very well what this order of his meant: a complete break with the United States, with whom they had once cooperated.

But as the Leader of the Autobots, he must first protect the Autobots, and only then Earth and the people of Earth.

On this point, Optimus Prime could still distinguish clearly.

Ironhide had been waiting for these words; hearing them, his spirit stirred, his arms lifted and shifted, immediately transforming into two grenade launchers.

Major William saw this scene and hurriedly waved his hands, shouting loudly, "Optimus Prime, Ironhide, calm down."

"If you have the time to talk nonsense here, why don't you go and properly negotiate with your superiors, human?"

Ironhide looked at him coldly, then the grenade launchers held in both hands fired simultaneously.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh..."

Twelve grenades were fired in sequence, not only accurately hitting the two CH-53 transport helicopters that were about to transport the Autobot corpses and preparing to carry them away.

The remaining ten grenades struck the other eight U. S. military helicopters hovering in the air, shooting them down in mid-air and turning them into several fireballs.

At the same time, two more flew straight toward the color-steel fence, quickly blasting out two huge gaps.

"It's over!"

Major William closed his eyes in pain; he knew that the Autobots and the United States had completely broken off, and there was no longer any possibility of cooperation.

Ironhide's self-assertion only made Optimus Prime frown slightly.

But he did not reprimand Ironhide, because the actions of the Americans made even him, who was always good-tempered, feel angry.

"Major, have your men lay down their resistance! We have cooperated very happily in the past; the Autobots will not make things difficult for friends."

Optimus Prime waved his hand, and the group of Autobot Warriors behind him immediately took out their weapons. Except for two who stayed behind to protect Optimus Prime and incidentally guard Major William and his men, the rest of the Autobots, led by Ironhide and Arcee, rushed behind the color-steel fence to stop the U. S. military from continuing to steal the Autobot corpses.

Major William opened his mouth, watched Optimus Prime quietly for a while, and then sighed.

"All Tombstone personnel, do not resist; I will bear all consequences!"

After issuing the order to all the soldiers of Tombstone through the communicator, Major William took off the device.

He knew that after this Task ended, he would have to report to the military police.

As for when he would be able to retire and go home to accompany his wife and daughter, I am afraid only the heavens know.

Facing dozens of fully armed Autobots, even though the hundreds of Tombwind Squad members behind the color-steel fence were also armed to the teeth, and even had over a dozen armored personnel carriers and armed Humvees provided by the Navy, it was still useless.

Therefore, as soon as Major William gave the order not to resist, after the dozens of Autobots rushed in, all the Tombstone soldiers placed their weapons on the ground and raised their hands in surrender.

"Major, thank you for your cooperation!"

Optimus Prime did not make things difficult for Major William. Seeing that those U. S. soldiers did not resist, he only had a few Autobots escort them outside the color-steel fence. Anyway, all weapons were left inside the fence, so he was not afraid of them escaping or causing trouble.

Ironhide took a few Autobots and went to retrieve the two Autobot corpses that the two helicopters had been preparing to carry away.

The armor used on the bodies of the fallen Autobots was far harder than that of the helicopters on Earth, so even after the explosion and falling from a height of over ten meters, there was no damage.

The Autobots dug up all the corpses that Ironhide and the others had previously buried in the sand pit. Ironhide counted them and was immediately so angry that he picked up his weapon and walked toward Major William.

"Leader, six of our companions' corpses are missing; they must have been stolen by these damn robbers!"

After saying this, he aimed his muzzle at Major William.

"Hey, hey..."

Major William raised his hands, waving them while defending himself: "Before you arrived, we did indeed transport six corpses, but I am just a Normal Mode soldier; that was required by those above."

Optimus Prime stopped Ironhide and waved at the inconspicuous Soundwave nearby. He immediately nodded and entered a modified M4 command and control vehicle parked in a corner of the fence.

Very quickly, accompanied by a series of explosive sounds, Blaster strode down from the command vehicle, grabbed William, and threw him high into the air.

"Damn it, you damn bastards..."

Blaster cursed angrily and was about to give Major William a few more kicks, but was stopped by Optimus Prime reaching out a hand.

Seeing Optimus Prime looking at him, he waited for the reason why he did so.

Blaster did not hide it either, pointing angrily at Major William and cursing: "I just hacked into their command system; the remains of six of our companions were sent over a hundred kilometers away to a U. S. Navy warship anchored in the Red Sea... According to the communications I decrypted, the Navy has already assembled naval aviation strike units, preparing to launch a devastating strike against us..."

This was not the only reason he was angry; Blaster had a very good relationship with Bumblebee, and the two shared the same hobbies.

"... These damn humans, just a few days ago in Jordan, they stole all the remains of Bumblebee and Ratchet, and they have already been transported to the United States, where they are preparing to dissect them to research weapons on how to kill us Autobots."

As soon as these words were spoken, all the Autobots were enraged.

Whether it was Bumblebee or Ratchet, they were both lieutenants to Optimus Prime and had more influence than ordinary Autobots.

Optimus Prime's chest heaved, and his eyes, looking at Major William, were already filled with disappointment.

He sighed and said to Arcee: "Take them aside, don't give them a hard time!"

This was the last thing Optimus Prime could do for this former friend among the Autobots, but it also meant that he was truly completely disappointed in humans, or rather, the United States.

"Blaster..."

Optimus Prime looked at this Mini-Autobot again, "I need you to collect more detailed intelligence regarding everything about Ratchet and the others!"

Seeing that Ironhide was still full of rage, he comforted his old comrade again, "Ironhide, take a few Autobots and move our kin's remains out. We must hurry to perform the Awakening, and then, before the Americans can dissect them, retrieve the remains of our other kin, as well as Ratchet and Bumblebee!"

"Yes, Leader!"

Upon hearing that they were going to perform the Awakening on their kin, Ironhide finally broke free from his anger.

He had great prestige among the Autobots; after casually pointing out a dozen or so Autobots, he led them away to move the remains of those Autobots.

As for Optimus Prime, he slowly pulled the 【Matrix of Leadership】 from his chest.

Only he himself knew that every time an Autobot was awakened or healed, a portion of the energy stored within the 【Matrix of Leadership】 would be permanently lost.

And the energy remaining in the 【Matrix of Leadership】 was already not very much.

They are repairing the road next to my house, a municipal project, it's so noisy.

For these two days, I can only adjust my schedule; I will still update on time, the time should remain the same, but I have changed my writing to update at night, while wearing earplugs and keeping the doors and windows closed to rest during the day.

So if there are any typos, I won't be able to correct them immediately.
