Chapter 691: The Quintessons (Extra update for Alliance Leader

"Explorer 203, report to me the reason for this ship's crash!"

"Received, please wait... the flight log is being generated..."

Following its voice, Sun Cheng immediately felt a stream of data being transmitted to him.

His Core operated slightly, and he instantly digested the flight log transmitted by Explorer 203.

Sun Cheng's expression changed abruptly, "The New World Explorer encountered a Quintesson raiding fleet and was hit, which caused it to crash?"

The Quintessons—this is likely a synonym that the Cybertronian civilization can absolutely never move past.

Like Cybertron, Quintessa is also a metal planet.

It is said that Quintessa is located in a habitable star system less than one light-year away from the planet Cybertron, and on that planet, which is also a metal planet, a sentient race similar to Cybertronians was born—the Quintessons.

The Quintessons are an extremely bellicose, greedy, yet evil and cruel race, and their rulers are known as the 'Quintessons'.

Under the rule of the Quintessons, who love research and are almost all super Scientists, the Quintessons only took a few hundred years after their birth to evolve their civilization to the space age.

This cruel race did not hesitate to extract every available resource from their home planet—Quintessa—using the resources to rapidly build a powerful colonial fleet, and placed all the planets in the nearby star systems under their own control.

Even the cruel and bellicose Decepticons, after winning the civil war against the Autobots, tried every possible way to save their dying home planet—Cybertron.

The moment Megatron captured the Autobot capital Iacon, he announced the dispatch of Pathfinders and ordered Shockwave to build a fleet, preparing to reconquer those colonial planets that had submitted to the Cybertronian civilization during the era of the Council of Ancients, in order to resupply the home planet with extraterrestrial resources.

But as for the Quintessons and the Quintessons, they mercilessly drained the last bit of energy from their home planet—Quintessa.

Then they cruelly abandoned it; the Quintessons led their expeditionary fleets to continuously conquer other civilizations, renamed their home planets to Quintessa, and then repeated everything they had done on their own home planet.

This bandit-like colonial race has plagued countless civilizations and planets since their birth, and their technology and military strength have become increasingly powerful as they have destroyed more and more civilizations and planets.

Finally, one day, the Quintessons and the Quintessons discovered Cybertron, a metal planet just like their home planet—Quintessa.

The size and beauty of Cybertron immediately captivated all the Quintessons; their expeditionary fleets were overwhelming, almost covering the sky over half of the planet Cybertron.

Then they occupied Cybertron and cruelly used the Cybertronians, who had just been born at the time and were very fragile in both consciousness and body, as slaves and miners.

The research-loving Quintessons also discovered the special nature of the Cybertronians; they descended onto the planet Cybertron themselves and dispatched troops to capture a large number of Cybertronians for various experiments and research.

To this day, on the planet Cybertron, there are races like the Predacons and others that are different from the Decepticons and Autobots.

There are also some ancient legends that believe they were monsters created by the Quintessons during their colonization of Cybertron by fusing monsters captured from outer space with Cybertronians.

Of course, these are just rumors that are widely circulated in private, and their credibility is unknown.

However, some rumors have been confirmed: the birth of the Decepticons is indeed related to the Quintessons, and the technology for the Triple Changers, Gestalts, etc., of both the Autobots and Decepticons also originated from research during the early period of Quintesson rule.

Regarding how the Cybertronians drove away the powerful Quintessons back then, opinions still vary to this day.

On the planet Cybertron, the two most widely circulated theories are that one or several of the Thirteen Primes appeared in the world, defeated the rulers of the Quintessons—the Quintessons—and forced this colonial race to get out of Cybertron.

The other theory is that the Prime Dynasty of that time raised the banner of rebellion, gathered all the races on the entire planet Cybertron who were dissatisfied with the Quintesson rule, and they defeated the Quintesson armies many times on the battlefield.

But when the Quintessons decided to cruelly suppress the Cybertronian resistance, the first Cosmic Rust struck.

The Quintessons and the Quintessons, like the Cybertronians, were all Mechanical Life.

Although they were brave and fierce on the battlefield, fearing neither life nor death, they were as fragile as newborn infants in the face of the Cosmic Rust.

Once infected with the Cosmic Rust, even the most powerful Warrior, wise Leader, and Scientist would rust and decay throughout their entire body in a very short time, and their lives would come to an end.

This Cosmic Rust, the first recorded in the history of the Cybertronian civilization, dealt a heavy blow to the Quintessons.

Many of their Warriors died because of the Cosmic Rust, and those civilizations cruelly ruled by the Quintessons would not miss this opportunity and rose up in rebellion one after another.

The Cosmic Rust, coupled with the colonial rebellions, eventually led the Quintessons to have to lead the Quintessons in a panicked retreat from Cybertron, fleeing to some unknown corner of the universe.

This second theory is more widely spread on the planet Cybertron, and has more believers.

Sun Cheng was influenced by Jetfire, and compared to the first theory that the Thirteen Primes stepped in to drive away the Quintessons, he clearly believed the second one more.

He had peeked into Jetfire's memories more than once, and in Jetfire's memories, until the end of the Council of Ancients, the colonial fleets and Pathfinders dispatched by Cybertron all shouldered the same Task.

That is to find the Quintessons, who were hiding somewhere unknown, and then report it to dispatch a fleet to eliminate them.

Seeing the leopard through the tube, the hatred between the Cybertronians and the Quintessons is evident.

With countless thoughts turning in his mind in an instant, Sun Cheng felt the beating of the Spark in his chest begin to intensify.

The New World Explorer was attacked by a Quintesson raiding fleet and eventually crashed on Earth, whether it was thousands of years ago or even longer.

This intelligence seems inconspicuous, but it implies a huge crisis.

The Quintesson raiding fleet once appeared near the Solar System; does this mean that there is a new home planet or a colonial planet of the Quintessons in the star region near the Solar System?

If that is the case, then Earth, hidden in the Solar System, might not be as safe as Sun Cheng imagined.

PS:

Less than one-tenth of the content in this chapter comes from official settings; most of it is made up by myself.

So if there are book friends who know the Transformers animation and comic series relatively well, there is no need to take it too seriously.

This book focuses on the movie plot line, which is more acceptable to domestic readers; the settings refer to the official ones in a small amount, and most of them are made up by the author himself. I believe old readers should have noticed this.
