Chapter 698: Establishing the Promotion System (Part II)

The Decepticon Legion and the Autobots' hierarchical systems each have their pros and cons.

The former's rigid hierarchy, along with the cruel exploitation of subordinates by superiors, limits the upward mobility of low-ranking Decepticons.

That is why Decepticons crave war, for only through war can lower-ranking Decepticons earn enough military merit to break into higher echelons.

While the Autobots appear peaceful, the true situation is not necessarily much better than that of the Decepticons.

Technical Officers are technical personnel who master various machinery manufacturing, smelting, mining, and scientific research, equivalent to the current Engineers.

In the future, all scientific research in the base, and even mines and factories, will have technical personnel in charge, and they can be promoted again to Engineers after meeting certain conditions.

Above Engineers are Senior Engineers and Scientists; they do not need to participate directly in combat, and their status is half a level lower than combat personnel of the same rank.

The Decepticon Legion has always had a tradition of force being supreme; although this setting of Sun Cheng's looks very unequal from a human perspective, he believes that as long as he announces it and demonstrates sufficient strength, there will be countless Decepticon Workers who would wish to kill their masters to join his command.
