Chapter 98: Jurassic Park

"To: Ruige China Investment Company. We are honored to extend an invitation to your company. International Genetic Technologies will hold its third investor meeting on April 23rd on Nublar Island, a private island within Costa Rica. Please be sure to attend; Doctor Hammond will have a surprise in store!"

"Note: Nublar Island is a private island; there are no international flights or other transportation that can reach it directly. Please keep this invitation safe. We have arranged reception staff at the Larvis Hotel in San Jose, and you will need it then!"

"John Hammond looks forward to your arrival!"

That was all the information on the gold invitation, and it was printed entirely in English. Although the paper of the invitation was clearly not the mass-produced variety found everywhere on the market, he was still skeptical about the whole thing.

"An invitation sent to Ruige China Investment Company by an enterprise called 'International Genetic Technologies'? How did this thing end up with me? And it was actually shoved under the door crack by someone..."

With his fingertips tapping lightly on the invitation, Sun Cheng held this gold invitation that clearly didn't look like a fake, his eyes full of confusion.

After thinking left and right for a while without any leads, he quickly picked up the second gold invitation and found that the information on it was exactly the same as the first, with not a single extra or useful thing to be found.

Shaking the envelope again and finding nothing else inside, Sun Cheng stuffed both invitations back into the envelope and threw it onto the table once more.

After pondering for a moment, he ultimately couldn't overcome his curiosity and shouted to Hanyi: "Hanyi, search the internet for information regarding Ruige China Investment Company, International Genetic Technologies, Nublar Island, and John Hammond!"

Hanyi's screen lit up, and a cold electronic voice immediately replied: "As you wish, Master!"

Countless streams of light flickered on the screen, and rows of binary matrices consisting of 0s and 1s jumped constantly, appearing and disappearing at an extremely high frequency.

After watching for a few moments, Sun Cheng couldn't help but feel his eyes grow sore, so he had to turn his head away.

Hanyi's search only lasted for two or three minutes. It soon stopped and subconsciously transformed back into its insect form to report to him.

"Ruige China Investment Company, founded in 2002 AD, is currently the most famous venture and angel investment company in China. Its most famous investment case was in 2003, when it invested 40 million to acquire a 17.5% stake in Panda Technology, becoming world-famous for bringing in a super-high return of up to 2000 times. The chairman is Li Zhengping, whose great-grandfather was Li Yuanhong, the first and second Vice President during the Republic of China era!"

"International Genetic Technologies, founding date cannot be verified. The boss is John Hammond, belonging to the United States. Main business: biotechnology, genetics, etc. Currently, it is embroiled in lawsuits due to the accidental deaths of several company employees..."

"Nublar Island, a private island 190 kilometers off the west coast of Costa Rica. The holder is Doctor John Hammond. It is currently suspected of being used for the development of a commercial project named 【Jurassic Park】. According to local Costa Rican media reports, fleets and procurement teams frequently head to Nublar!"

"John Hammond, American entrepreneur, Chairman of International Genetic Technologies, Doctor of Paleontology from Columbia University. Family background: wife is deceased, has only one daughter, currently busy with divorce proceedings, and also has one grandson and one granddaughter. Other investigations: intelligence shows that John Hammond is very obsessed with archaeology, especially prehistoric biological archaeology, and has funded dozens of archaeological teams to conduct excavations in the United States, Mexico, and South America over the past decade or so..."

"Jurassic Park?!"

Sun Cheng was stunned, and then his eyes lit up.

The last time he returned to reality from another world, he had witnessed a massive change with his own eyes inside that mysterious Spherical Space.

A parallel world, suspected to be called 【Jurassic Park】 by the Spherical Space, was merged into another world under the influence of an unpredictable, great power.

Sun Cheng had never doubted everything he saw!

Although he still hadn't figured out the mystery of the Spherical Space even now, it was precisely under the influence of the Spherical Space that he had already experienced several trans-dimensional travels from the real world to another world and back again, and he had even obtained a body of an alien Mechanical Life form distinct from humans in the other world, and had also brought two small Decepticons back to the real world.

Therefore, whenever he thought back to witnessing the fusion of two worlds inside the Spherical Space, he had been suspecting that the Spherical Space had very likely captured a new parallel world formed by the fusion of two worlds somewhere he didn't know, just like the other world where the Decepticons and Autobots were.

He had even suspected that in the near future, he would very likely enter that fused world under the influence of the Spherical Space, just as he had traveled to the other world where the Decepticons and Autobots were.

However, Sun Cheng really hadn't thought about the existence of another possibility.

"Could the real world I am in be that fused world?!"

Forcibly suppressing the unease and excitement in his heart, Sun Cheng felt his heart rate jump much faster than usual in an instant.

This discovery was truly too shocking. Coming from a science and engineering background, he was not completely ignorant of knowledge regarding the celestial universe and understood a little bit.

But it was precisely because he only knew a little that Sun Cheng felt even more that the fusion between two parallel universes was too inconceivable, so from the beginning, he had never linked the fusion of worlds to reality.

Now, two mysterious invitations, which he didn't know who had shoved into his dormitory, actually involved a commercial project also named 'Jurassic Park'. In an instant, Sun Cheng felt both happy and shocked. He sat dazed in his chair thinking for a good while before letting out a long breath.

"Hanyi, continue to investigate all intelligence and news regarding 【Jurassic Park】 on the internet. In addition, hack into the Nandu University of Technology's campus surveillance system and pull up the video data of everyone who has entered or exited this dormitory building I am in over the past few hours for me..."

The mysterious invitation was actually related to 'Jurassic Park'. Sun Cheng couldn't help but become interested in the mysterious person who had shoved it to him, and he ordered Hanyi to investigate.
