Chapter 1023

There is a saying that "hemp rope always picks the thin place to break, and bad luck always finds the bitter person".

This sentence is very suitable for Old Jiao.

He is a migrant worker. The construction site where he originally worked had an accident, cutting off his source of work. He owed a lot of debt and couldn't repay it. His daughter was close to the high school entrance examination, so he had to find a way to earn tuition and living expenses, so he could only move between various construction sites and do the hardest and most tiring work.

Who would have thought that he would have dinner with his fellow workers, but he was left to pay the bill alone.

In the screen, Old Jiao returned to his rented house crying...

It's not very appropriate to say it's a rented house. It can be clearly seen that this room is a garage.

It is the place of refuge that Old Jiao finally found in this city.

No water, no electricity, leaking wind on all sides, but the rent is cheap.

In a prosperous city, not everyone is glamorous and has a bright future. Many bottom-level people live in the corners of the city and work hard for life.

Is it that they don't want to enjoy poetry and distance, or pursue their own ideals, and be better to themselves?

No.

For many people, just living has used up all their strength.

The audience saw this scene and sighed together. Whether they want to admit it or not, this is actually the real side of the public in this society.

But life is always like this, the more distressed you are, the easier it is for bad luck to find you.

Old Jiao just opened the door, ate some steamed buns, drank some water to fill his stomach, but the landlord came. He came to drive people away and didn't let Old Jiao live here anymore.

Because yesterday, the neighborhood committee issued a notice that all garages in the community are not allowed to be rented out, and today someone came to check all garages.

Old Jiao looked embarrassed, but the landlord forced him to leave.

Now, Old Jiao doesn't even have a garage to live in, and is completely homeless.

Fortunately, although this landlord looks like a rogue, his heart is actually very kind. He gave Old Jiao a tattered suitcase.
