Chapter 279

"Wait for us to come back!"

This sentence from the Rabbit almost ignited her on the spot, bringing her to a climax, but it also brought a deep touch to her soul, leaving her in tears.

She knew that the historical ending was that few of the first batch of Rabbits who went to the battlefield came back alive; most of them sacrificed themselves on foreign battlefields.

In the end, it was...

A wait that would never be fulfilled!

When Gu Qingyao finished listening to "Chasing Dreams with a Pure Heart" and finished looking at the old photos.

Having already used up a roll of tissues, she clicked on the first episode again.

Like countless viewers, she left her own "footprints" and wrote a bullet comment:

"Congratulations on discovering a treasure!"

"Treasure of the site!"

"The place where dreams begin!"

Afterwards, she reached the very end of the second episode and posted a bullet comment:

"Dear ones, waiting for you to come back!"

At the same time.

On the internet.

Wang Feng had finally found a time when the competition for trending topics wasn't intense to post on Weibo about his upcoming new album, and it made it to the trending list.

As a result, the trending topic hadn't even been up for a few hours.

Before it was kicked off the trending list by someone else.

Because "Year Hare Affair" had made it to the trending list!

One hour after airing, it exploded in popularity across the entire internet!

And it wasn't just one!

Among the top ten trending topics, five were about "Year Hare Affair."

Not only that, "Year Hare Affair" triggered a wave of nostalgia.

Many topics were discussing China's history and that war.

Although only two episodes had aired, countless viewers had already fallen in love with this anime.

Knowing what kind of god-tier anime this was, countless people began to spontaneously promote, forward, and share it!

Even many official Weibo accounts began to promote "Year Hare Affair," creating momentum and publicity for this anime.

There were even top-tier official media outlets commenting on this anime!

In their words, this was an anime with very positive energy.

Of course, people and works achieve each other.

The explosive popularity and high word-of-mouth of "Year Hare Affair" made the popularity and heat of the twin sisters You Mingyue even more explosive!

In those official promotional Weibo posts, they became the objects of praise.

The golden body that Lin Yan had once imagined seemed to have been forged just like this!

And under the Weibo post where You Mingyue promoted "Year Hare Affair," at this very moment, it was a complete nuclear explosion:

"God-tier anime!"

"Worship the Sect Leader!"

"Holy crap! These two young ladies are really too strong this time! Although it's an anime, it gave me the same shock as 'Blue and White Porcelain'!"

"To the person above, next time you praise my Gu King wives, please remove the 'Holy crap,' otherwise, I'll always think you're flirting with my wives."

"..."

"I didn't expect it to be an anime of this genre!"

"Tell a joke: 'Children's Animation.' It would be strange if children could understand this anime!"

"'Year Hare Affair' is amazing! This is a true god-tier work! You Mingyue's scripts never disappoint!"

"Making people fired up, yet also making people tear up, this is the magic of 'Year Hare Affair'!"

"It's ridiculous that before it aired, many people said You Mingyue's vision was small, not playing in the music scene properly and going to cross over to make anime? I laughed, who exactly had the small vision?"

"Those people don't know anything! It's really a slap in the face. If the Sect Leader doesn't take action, give the national anime industry ten or twenty years, could those people make an anime like this?"

"Tell a piece of trivia: according to Baidu information, the boss of the North Star Animation Studio is actually Xu Youyue and Xu Mingyue. They acquired the 51 Studio, which means... for this anime, the twin sisters not only provided the script, but even the production company is theirs!"

"Holy crap! This is truly a huge vision!"

"I'm kneeling!"

"To make an anime, they directly established a company. I admire this operation!"

"This is the kind of celebrity I should follow! They deserve to be popular!"

"It's a pity that the anime is too short. @You Mingyue, wives, can you make it longer..."

"Longer +1"

"Longer +2"

"Longer +10086..."

"Holy crap, you guys are not right!"

"..."

And in other places, including Tieba, forums, Zhihu, Douyin... it was also incredibly lively and explosive!

Especially in the music scene.

Because of jealousy and envy, when You Mingyue previously posted the promotional Weibo for "Year Hare Affair," there were no shortage of people in the music scene being sarcastic and gloating.

Among them, some even prepared to hire internet trolls to fiercely smear You Mingyue when the anime "Year Hare Affair" flopped.

Originally, they thought they were like Qin Shi Huang eating Sichuan peppercorns—winning completely, but the result was like a small knife cutting the buttocks—an eye-opener!

They never expected that when You Mingyue's "Year Hare Affair" aired, it would start with a king bomb, playing a perfect hand and exploding across the internet.

It didn't give them any chance to smear it at all.

It didn't follow the script at all!

No one expected that when these twin sisters crossed over to make anime, they could actually cause such a huge stir!

"This pair of sisters is truly heaven-defying!" someone commented in a large music industry group.

"Yeah, when I finished watching the anime, I was stunned! They actually wrote a script like this!"

"Awesome!"

"The king of rollers, everywhere they go, they are the king of rollers!"

"While paying attention to the anime, I also listened to that song called 'Chasing Dreams with a Pure Heart.' This is also a classic-level song, and it's an inspirational song. If nothing goes wrong, as the anime becomes popular, this song is very likely to kill its way into the top ten of the monthly chart!"

"These twin sisters are truly terrifying!"

"Hiss..."

"Forget it, anyway, after watching the anime and listening to the song, I've already given up!" Qu Daddy Shen Xiao replied.

Why did the bitter taste in his mouth feel even stronger? He hadn't even eaten bitter melon.

After listening to "Chasing Dreams with a Pure Heart," he was completely convinced by these twin sisters.

To be able to come up with such a top-tier song even for the ending theme of an anime...

It's truly awesome!

And at this moment, feeling the same bitter smile as him were the industry insiders in China's anime scene.

Originally, they thought of themselves as industry insiders and didn't think highly of You Mingyue's "Year Hare Affair," thinking she was an outsider messing around, but the result...

They didn't expect "Year Hare Affair" to be this kind of anime. While being amazed and shocked, they were also hit hard!

For such an action, let alone producing it, they hadn't even thought of the related subject matter.

"After 51 died, You Mingyue came! The anime industry is rolling!"

This was the inner voice of all anime workers.

At this moment, they felt the same feeling as those musicians in the music scene: the feeling of a Great Demon King descending, the King of Rollers arriving, a chill down their spines, and a cold light pricking them!

"Making a fuss, this is just the beginning, everything has only just started!" Watching the sensation caused by "Year Hare Affair" on the internet, North Star Animation Studio's Zhou Wenyi smiled and whispered, a sharp light flickering in his eyes.

The first and second episodes of "Year Hare Affair" were just appetizers; the subsequent third and fourth episodes were the real tear-jerking nuclear bombs, and the episodes after that were also wonderful one after another!
