Chapter 365: First-day views exceed 100 million

*Divine Sword Immortal Fate* actually also had updates tonight.

Only, at this time, with the airing of *Chinese Paladin*, its popularity had been suppressed, basically equal to nothing.

The whole internet is discussing *Chinese Paladin*.

*Divine Sword Immortal Fate* director Cheng Xiaoshu, at this moment, felt as uncomfortable as if he had been bitten by two dogs, about to explode with anger.

"Excessive! Excessive!"

He muttered angrily.

His anger is not only because of the popularity of *Chinese Paladin*, but also the subsequent netizens praising one and stepping on the other.

For example:

"Compared to the plot of *Chinese Paladin*, *Divine Sword* is simply insulting my intelligence."

"Also female lead, also pure and innocent young girl persona, why is there such a big difference between *Divine Sword* and *Chinese Paladin*? Zhao Linger wife is the best!"

"Watched *Chinese Paladin*, can't watch *Divine Sword* anymore."

"Without comparison, there is no harm, *Chinese Paladin*'s protagonists and supporting roles, costumes, plot, and special effects formed an all-around crushing of *Divine Sword*."

"*Divine Sword* investment over 100 million, *Chinese Paladin* only 40 million... damn, I think *Chinese Paladin* looks like a drama with an investment of over 100 million, *Divine Sword*'s investment probably all went to those actors as salaries."

"Tell a joke, *Chinese Paladin* flies if it can, *Divine Sword* is still using spirit energy to turn into horses."

"Laugh to death, people who write Xianxia novels, actually have *Divine Sword* supporters saying they don't understand Xianxia?"

"..."

Various netizens' discussions made Cheng Xiaoshu and the main creators of *Divine Sword* angry, almost spitting out a mouthful of old blood.

All blame You Mingyue!

Why couldn't you just roll in your music scene, why come to roll in the film and television circle?

"If you didn't have a golden body to protect you, I really want to black you to death!!!" Cheng Xiaoshu's evil grew from his courage, in the past when encountering such situations, the circle would inevitably use dirty operations, such as blacking the TV drama plot, blacking the director, blacking the screenwriter, blacking the main creators, etc.

Using this means to reduce the popularity of this TV drama.

But encountering You Mingyue.

This means is really not easy to use.

They now have a golden body to protect them, they are positive energy artists recognized by the whole internet and the official, once you start blacking them or their drama, netizens will help them first.

By then, stealing the chicken won't succeed, but will lose the rice.

It is possible, and it might even stir up the popularity of Chinese Paladin to an even higher level.

"Wait a bit longer, *Divine Sword* has a big climax later, I don't believe that the big climax can't beat you?" Cheng Xiaoshu thought to himself.

He didn't know.

The real climax belonging to *Chinese Paladin 1* hasn't arrived yet.

At the same time.

Penguin Video Platform Department.

This department is mainly responsible for Penguin Video content operations, and the previous talk with Jiaxing Entertainment about online streaming rights was handled by this department.

At this time.

The department group was terrifyingly quiet.

Even, some employees' hearts were trembling.

Based on everyone's understanding of the department boss, at this time, he must be angry.

In fact.

Department head Cui Hao was indeed angry, smoking one cigarette after another, sulking.

In the world, a more miserable thing than chasing a goddess and not catching her is chasing a goddess and finding out you can't get it up.

Cui Hao felt this way at this time.

Clearly, he had already talked to Jiaxing Entertainment about the streaming rights of *Chinese Paladin 1*, talking up to 1.8 million.

As a result, because he considered that he had already obtained the rights to *Divine Sword Immortal Fate*, and still had insufficient confidence in You Mingyue.

He gave up on *Chinese Paladin*.

Otherwise, how would it be Bilibili and Youku's turn...

"Looking at this popularity and audience reaction, three *Divine Swords* can't compare to one *Chinese Paladin*!"

"Pigs, all damn pigs!"

Cui Hao scolded.

Really regret to the point of turning blue!

Some are happy and some are sad.

While Penguin is sad, as the big winners, the relevant departments of Bilibili and Youku had already opened champagne to celebrate in advance.

Although the first-day views of *Chinese Paladin* haven't come out yet, the current views have already exceeded the first-day views of *Divine Sword*.

The so-called first-day views refer to the number of times the same video is played by an account on the first day of the drama's broadcast, like clicking the next episode or automatically playing the next episode, which also counts as one time. ===== CHAPTER 366 =====
