Chapter 433

After the first episode of "Masked Singer 3," everyone had been looking forward to the second episode due to the spectacular performances of many masked singers.

Because there were too many highlights to look forward to in the second episode.

First, there was the PK between the Ruthless Empress and the Queen of Hearts.

Although in the previous episode, at the very beginning, the proud and confident Queen of Hearts hadn't taken the Ruthless Empress to heart, once the Ruthless Empress finished her song and the voting results came out...

The intense desire for victory in the Queen of Hearts' eyes could not be concealed.

In other words, the Ruthless Empress had already been targeted by the Queen of Hearts.

Both of them were singers with powerful vocal skills.

One could imagine that this would be a spectacular drama tonight.

Secondly, another masked singer would be eliminated in this episode.

If the challenger singer was impressive enough and received more votes than the singer who was held over from the previous episode, it was even possible for another one to be eliminated.

In other words, tonight, we might see two masked singers reveal their faces and leave.

This was very exciting.

Many netizens launched "betting pools" online, betting on who would be eliminated tonight.

Among them, the singer held over from the end of the previous episode—【Rusty Robot】—appeared with the highest frequency.

This was normal; in the eyes of the public, if it weren't for an amateur singer coming in last in the previous episode, the one eliminated would definitely have been the Robot. Many people also predicted that the one eliminated tonight would be the new challenger.

Of course, many people were also looking forward to 【Ruthless Empress】 bringing a new song.

"Da La Beng Ba" had been incredibly popular over the past week.

Not only was it a hit across the entire internet, drawing many music critics and streamers to challenge singing this song, but it also broke into the March music charts, becoming the number one song on the March new music chart!

And second... was You Mingyue's "Always Very Quiet."

That was You Mingyue!

You have to know, ever since this pair of twins, You Mingyue, burst onto the scene, they had been invincible, walking an undefeated path in the music scene; they slew gods if gods blocked them, and slew Buddhas if Buddhas blocked them, with few people being their match.

Since their debut, they had already become music royalty, and the big cake of the music market had been bitten into again and again by them, with a momentum that threatened to occupy half of the music scene.

More badass than Wang Bancheng, they were seemingly becoming Xu Half-the-Sky!

But who would have thought that 【Ruthless Empress】 would actually break into the music scene to wrestle with them—fierce as hell!

It wasn't that everyone didn't like You Mingyue anymore, but rather that from the Ruthless Empress, they saw the rise of another musical genius, which could make the development of the music scene healthier.

After all, there are only breakthroughs where there is competition.

In novels, those top experts who want to break through bottlenecks always find experts of the same level to have a fight.

You can't let You Mingyue be too invincible.

Of course, the speculation that You Mingyue was the Ruthless Empress had never disappeared, and everyone hoped to find some clues in this episode.

The broadcast method for the second episode of "Masked Singer 3" had changed compared to the first.

The production team changed it this time to be launched simultaneously on television and major video platforms.

That was exactly how "I Am a Singer" did it.

Xu Xiang Dong was determined this time to go head-to-head with "I Am a Singer."

He was very confident; even if online video users would have some impact on the ratings, the impact would not be significant.

"No way, I also want to be low-key, but my strength doesn't allow it."

"With a trump card in hand, if I don't blow things up, my whole body feels uncomfortable."

In Jin Ling, inside the production team's dormitory, Xu Xiang Dong was all smiles, happily taking a sip of strong tea.

In his mind, he recalled the scene from a week ago at the recording site where You Mingyue's singing blew the roof off; it was still fresh in his memory, as if it had just happened, and the shock from that time had not yet dissipated from his heart.

And in front of him.

The television was on, playing Masked Singer.

The mobile phone and tablet were also on, still playing Masked Singer.

As the general director of the show, it's very reasonable to increase the ratings and view count for one's own show, right?

On the other side.

Hengdian.

Inside the hotel booked by the Xian Three crew.

"Tap tap..." Zhu Xudan clicked on Penguin Video and then selected the variety show "Masked Singer 3."

You Mingyue hadn't told her that she was participating in Masked Singer and was the 【Ruthless Empress】 on the show, but Zhu Xudan had already vaguely guessed it.

The week before last, she saw Mingyue and Xia Yan leave the crew, and a week later, the Ruthless Empress appeared on the masked stage, with a song "Da La Beng Ba" that shocked the entire internet.

Then, last week, Youyue and Xia Yan also left the crew together...

What did they go to do? It goes without saying.

It couldn't possibly be that they went to get a hotel room, right?

Zhu Xudan could almost be certain that the Ruthless Empress on the masked stage was one of the You Mingyue twins.
