Chapter 692

Soon.

After watching the two episodes of the TV drama, the fans of Xu Mingyue, who had been itching for a long time, were so crazy that they didn't even let go of the previews.

They were mainly looking for the figure of Jiang Yuyan, played by Xu Mingyue, but were very disappointed; Jiang Yuyan still did not appear in the previews for the third and fourth episodes.

At the same time.

On the internet, there was endless heated discussion.

"'The Legend of Jiang Yuyan' is very good; Xiao Yu'er is funny, Hua Wuque is handsome beyond friends, Tie Xinlan is beautifully crying... but where is my protagonist? Where is my Jiang Yuyan with such a big chest, such a thin waist, and such long legs?"

"You tell me this is a big female lead drama? It's been two episodes, and the female lead hasn't even appeared yet!"

"This is not scientific."

"Watched the preview; Jiang Yuyan still didn't appear in the third and fourth episodes."

"Came specifically for Xu Mingyue, and this is what I get to watch?"

"Might as well change it to 'The Proud Twins'; I know Xu Mingyue wants to promote the newcomers in the studio, but this way of eating is too ugly; it's purely hanging a sheep's head to sell dog meat."

"This is just like thinking it's an erotic film, but after clicking in, it's really just a Wuxia action film; to be honest, a little disappointed."

"'Jiang Yuyan is on her way riding a horse'; could it be like Long Kui in 'Chinese Paladin 3', only appearing in the ninth episode?"

"Very likely."

"I just want to say, if you don't care about Jiang Yuyan, isn't it also very good just watching Xiao Yu'er, Hua Wuque, and the plot?"

"Plus one to the floor above; I think so too."

"..."

The next day.

The premiere results for "Jiang Yuyan" were released.

Zhejiang Satellite TV ratings: 2.7.

Penguin Video views: 410 million.

Star Sky Net rating: 8.1.

If it were any other TV drama, this would definitely be an explosive start, with the potential to become a hit.

But in the eyes of the industry, this result is low.

Because its director, screenwriter, and lead actress are Xu Mingyue!

Especially the Star Sky Net rating; before this, whether it was a TV drama or a movie, Xu Mingyue had never received such a low score.

Every one of their film and television works was above 9, and only this "The Legend of Jiang Yuyan" is an exception.

The industry was in an uproar.

"Started high and ended low."

"No wonder someone said before that Xu Mingyue's drama was going to have a big crash... looking at it now, it's really possible."

"Original Wuxia dramas are indeed a big pit; even Xu Mingyue can't do it."

"Next, it depends on whether the protagonist Jiang Yuyan, played by them, can pull up the word-of-mouth, ratings, and scores."

"I actually want to see them fail once and break their myth of invincibility."

"Plus one to the floor above; want to see them cry. Such a cute and beautiful young lady should look super good when crying."

"..."

"You guys are really bad."

"To be fair, the actors, costumes, and props of this drama are still very good, better than the beggar style of other Wuxia dramas; this aspect is worth us learning."

"..."

Two days later.

"The Legend of Jiang Yuyan" Star Sky Net rating, ratings, and online views continued to decline.

On the internet.

It was already being disparaged everywhere.

Talk of a "rotten drama" was endless.

It was completely different from the praise across the entire internet before the drama aired.

Many people in the industry were gloating, mostly with a mentality of watching them build a high building and then watching the building collapse.

At the same time.

Countless Xu Mingyue fans began to worry about the twins.

Some also held hope, looking forward to Jiang Yuyan's appearance to save this drama.

Instead, inside the Penguin Video operations department, they were not panicked at all.

"I'm actually afraid now that the audience will scold us to death!" an employee said.

After the words fell.

Other colleagues in the office nodded.
