Chapter 722

Having said that.

Jiang Yuyan used her light-body technique and flew away from the Flower-Plucking Palace.

She had to hurry back to the palace; there was another major matter to attend to.

Namely, killing Tie Xinlan.

This woman had been constantly making a fuss about wanting her child, saying that the stillborn son was not born to her.

She could no longer be kept alive.

Moreover, only by killing her could Hua Wuque possibly accept her.

And in front of the screens.

At this moment!

Xiao Dan was stunned!

Lin Yan was stunned!

Zhu Xudan was stunned!

The audience was all stunned!

From the moment Jiang Yuyan appeared, the audience had long been deeply attracted to this character.

Who wouldn't like a stunningly beautiful girl who was charming yet obedient? Even after she turned evil and focused on her career, her popularity did not decrease; instead, it climbed steadily, making her a well-deserved great female lead!

However, the death of the second palace master of the Flower-Plucking Palace, Lian Xing, left everyone feeling unsettled.

In the show, although she had always been one of the villains, she had never done a single bad thing.

Instead, she constantly helped Hua Wuque and Tie Xinlan escape the poisonous hands of the love-starved palace master Yao Yue.

Furthermore, she had always stayed quietly by Yao Yue's side.

Even though Yao Yue had a perverse personality and would occasionally strike her, she had no complaints.

It could be said that this was a female character that everyone liked very much.

Yet, such a person was not only sucked of all her martial arts by Jiang Yuyan but also killed by her with a single slash.

This made it difficult for everyone to accept, to the point where everyone's minds went blank for a moment!

"Lian Xing is dead?"

"Why kill her! My second palace master!"

"She clearly didn't fight for anything, yet she died so miserably!"

"You Mingyue! Give me back my Lian Xing!"

"Yao Yue certainly deserves to die, but Lian Xing is innocent!"

"Damn it!"

"Because she loves him deeply, she left Hua Wuque's master with an intact corpse???"

"Hua Wuque: Thanks, I really appreciate it!"

"F*ck! Is this your turning over a new leaf? In the first and third installments of the Chinese Paladin, the villains were the ones doing the killing, but now it's better, the protagonist has directly become the villain doing the killing!"

"My mentality has collapsed."

"You Mingyue has a real thirst for blood!"

"Jiang Yuyan has gone crazy with killing!"

"I have a feeling that if things continue like this, Xiaoyu'er, Tie Xinlan, and the others are also in danger. This woman has gone completely insane!"

"I wanted to marry Sister Yan just a moment ago? Am I f*cking crazy!"

After the collective shock, some audience members cursed loudly, while others shook their heads and smiled bitterly.

Of course, there were also audience members who were excitedly reaching a climax; after all, after putting themselves in Jiang Yuyan's shoes, watching her kill people was truly satisfying. Rarely did a TV show dare to be filmed so darkly.

Yes.

This was no longer limited to Wuxia dramas; even across the entire range of TV shows, Jiang Yuyan remained an invincible, ruthless, great demon existence.

However, this segment of the plot did not affect everyone's liking for Jiang Yuyan; the blame was definitely placed on You Mingyue.

Everything was the fault of the screenwriter and director; it had nothing to do with Jiang Yuyan. Coincidentally, the director and screenwriter of this show were both You Mingyue.

Previously, in the third installment of Chinese Paladin, this pair of twins only wrote the deaths of Maomao and Biping, creating a plot that was infinitely close to a perfect ending. Everyone thought they had tortured the audience enough and wanted to turn over a new leaf.

Now it seems, turning over a new leaf my foot; this pair of twins has incarnated as Jiang Yuyan and gone completely crazy with killing.

Penguin Video.

The marketing department responsible for purchasing the show and the operations department responsible for scheduling were already going crazy with joy.

As Jiang Yuyan became stronger and killed more people, the online viewership of this show had become terrifying, reaching over 20 billion, not at all inferior to the highlight moments of the third installment of Chinese Paladin.

It could be said that this TV show had completely exploded.

At the beginning of the New Year, Penguin Video had produced a blockbuster masterpiece Wuxia drama!

Without a doubt, this was a great start! Everyone's year-end bonus for next year was secured!

"You Mingyue is awesome!"

"I'm kneeling!"

"Who said their Wuxia drama would flop? That's a slap in the face, isn't it!"

"Although Jiang Yuyan has gone crazy with killing! It's truly satisfying to watch! Invincible!"

"The more miserable the beginning, the stronger the later part!"

"The whole internet is discussing it; with only three episodes left, the online viewership of this show can go even higher."

"..."

At the same time.

Inside Zhejiang Satellite TV, every staff member was also full of energy, their faces beaming with joy.

"The Legend of Jiang Yuyan" not only had terrifying online viewership, but its ratings were also heaven-defying; the current ratings had already broken eight and were charging toward breaking nine.

Presumably, by the time of the finale, it might even break ten!

You have to know, this was an original Wuxia drama that had long since fallen into decline.

It can only be said that that pair of twins was too god-like, too monstrous.

Within the industry, there was also inexplicable shock, and they fell into intense discussion.

Everyone was frightened by the terrifying ratings data of "The Legend of Jiang Yuyan."

They couldn't even understand it.

They couldn't figure out why the ratings and viewership of this show were so popular.

"Could it be that the audience's taste is so heavy now?"

"Next time, I'll film it like this too."

"Don't learn from it; whoever learns from it will die. This show, just in terms of supporting characters like Xiaoyu'er, Hua Wuque, and Tie Xinlan, is just an old-fashioned Wuxia story. The focus is on Jiang Yuyan. This pair of twins applied the web novel 'cool' template to Jiang Yuyan and performed it with their top-tier looks and acting skills. And it's a very novel, dark, great female lead. Without Jiang Yuyan, this show wouldn't be very stunning."

"Indeed, they are too monstrous."

"To be honest, I'm watching this show now, and I have nightmares every night."

"Nightmare plus one, Jiang Yuyan is f*cking scary! Too ruthless!"

PS: A preview, tomorrow the original protagonist will be killed, and then the plot of The Legend of Jiang Yuyan will end.
