Chapter 742

This song was so sorrowful it was depressing.

Coupled with the unscrupulous empathy talent, many people sat there blankly after listening, as if the world only had themselves left, as if they had also sunk into the deep sea with the singing, unable to recover for a long time.

It wasn't until five minutes later that comments began to appear in the song review section.

"Listened and cried."

"Cried like a dog in the middle of the day."

"This song is too desperate."

"It suffocated me directly."

"You told me this was a heartwarming song??? This is clearly a girl's desperate suicide! It's more like a depressing masterpiece!"

"No! This is clearly a eulogy!"

"The husbands are too bad! You made me depressed."

"Plus one upstairs, I think I've also got depression."

"Want to cry but feel powerless."

"Abused by Jiang Yuyan, now abused to tears by 'Deep Sea', I'm totally emo."

"Cherish life, stay away from Youmingyue. They can't play nicely anymore."

"This song should have been written for depression patients, but after listening to it, won't they feel even worse?"

These days, depression is a high-incidence disease.

Some have fake depression, some have real depression.

Those with fake depression are mostly pretending for sympathy, begging for pity.

And real depression is very serious; some are caused by too much pressure, some because they were bullied or picked on, some because of heartbreak...

Ordinary people don't understand them, thinking they are pretentious; only those who have experienced it personally can understand.

At this moment.

Chen Xue wiped away her tears and typed quickly in the comment section: "Thank you."

She revealed a beautiful smile.

Having once suffered from depression, she knew deeply that what depression patients want is not sympathy, but understanding.

This song by Youmingyue started exactly from understanding, singing into her heart, making her resonate strongly.

At the same time.

More and more depression patients left messages in the comment section.

Many said that after listening to this song, they not only didn't feel sad but felt very calm.

Saying this song could sing out their state of mind, sing out their situation, giving them a feeling of a soulmate who "feels what I feel."

No one expected that a sorrowful song that made people feel desperate and suffocated would become popular across the entire internet in a very short time.

Not only were many people sharing it on Weibo, forums, and Moments, but even on Douyin, this song became a hit.

Everyone has times of sadness, despair, helplessness, and being misunderstood; "Deep Sea" sang out the emotions that everyone usually hides deep in their hearts, suppressed.

Of course, there were those who didn't like it.

Saying this song was too desperate and made people depressed.

Regarding this, the girl was not surprised.

They were not gods; they couldn't make every song likable.

In the following days.

Musicians in the industry witnessed a miracle again.

It only took three short days for "Deep Sea" to officially top the January music new song chart, completing a sweep of the charts.

Regarding this.

Musicians could only smile bitterly.

There was no helping it.

Every time Youmingyue released a new song, it was just this perverted.

Their song quality was high, and their fans were super supportive.

This was something that made people envious, jealous, and hateful.

The smell of sourness was everywhere in the music scene.

Regarding this, netizens were not surprised at all.

It would be a strange thing if Youmingyue's new song didn't get number one.

These twins were simply immortals.

The great demon kings of the music scene were well-deserved.

Days passed one by one.

On the internet, the promotional work for "Resident Evil" was still proceeding in an orderly manner, not slacking for a moment.

Even with the "Youmingyue" gold-lettered signboard endorsing it, naturally bringing traffic, the Youmingyue Studio still kept conducting film promotion work.

The pressure was great.

As everyone knows, the Spring Festival slot is also a period crowded with blockbusters, and the intensity of its competition is no less than the National Day slot.

After all, this is the Spring Festival that every Chinese person values, exactly when everyone has money and leisure.

Everyone's consumption desire is at a climax!

When a family visits relatives and friends, making an appointment to visit attractions together and watch a movie is a very normal thing.

One could see that in this slot, besides "Resident Evil", there were dozens of other movies released, among which there was no lack of blockbuster levels.

As early as three or four months ago, everyone had already started rolling.

Capital from all sides entered the field, everyone wanting to make a fortune in the Spring Festival slot.

It is worth mentioning that this year also saw a very interesting scene.
