Chapter 753

The grand finale of this year's Spring Festival Gala was a skit, and the program's conclusion sublimated into the theme of "a prosperous country and a peaceful people."

Accompanied by the midnight countdown bell and the sound of fireworks and firecrackers from all over, the new year arrived.

"It's the second year."

"Mm, we're already twenty; we're getting old so fast."

"I wonder how things are over on Earth."

Imperial Capital.

The twins stood side by side on the balcony, holding hands, looking at the beautiful midnight night view of the Imperial Capital, and spoke to themselves.

Their birthday is in January, and they had just celebrated their twentieth birthday a while ago.

A lonely stranger in a strange land, every festive season, one misses their family all the more.

They were feeling a bit homesick.

The young girls did not know that beneath the calm, undercurrents were surging.

……

According to the customs of the Blue Star Huaxia Kingdom, there are no premiere screenings during the Spring Festival season.

After all, the whole country has the tradition of "staying up for the New Year"; what kind of ghost would run to the cinema in the middle of the night on this day to watch a movie?

However, the cinemas opened quite early the next day; most cinemas opened at 8:30 in the morning, and the first movie of the Spring Festival season would begin screening at 9:00.

At this moment.

12:30 AM.

Lin Zhi, the General Manager of Tian Guang Entertainment, could not sleep at all!

At the mere thought that Xu Mingyou and Xu Youyue's new movie would start selling like crazy again tomorrow, he felt physically uncomfortable all over.

It wasn't that Tian Guang Entertainment had any grudge against the Xu Mingyou Studio; the reason he felt uncomfortable and couldn't stand it was purely out of jealousy.

In fact.

Among the capital in the industry today, there are not a few people who are jealous of those twins.

It is simply because their ability to rake in money is too heaven-defying.

Let's not even talk about the year before last; let's just talk about last year.

In the span of last year, Xu Mingyou and Xu Youyue produced a total of three blockbuster TV dramas—"Chinese Paladin 1," "Chinese Paladin 3," and "The Legend of Jiang Yuyan."

This is a result that is very difficult for a large film and television entertainment company to achieve in a year, and even top-tier entertainment and film companies would need to work hard to reach it.

Blockbuster TV dramas are not that easy to produce.

And this was only the achievement Xu Mingyou and Xu Youyue attained in terms of TV dramas.

Besides that.

The movie they filmed—"The Corpse of the Mountain Village," also became a blockbuster, and with a small investment, it reaped over a billion in box office, which can be called terrifying!
