Chapter 917: The hatred of wife-stealing Gao Yuanyuan, the surprise brought by Eunuch Cao!

As for the Wuxia TV drama "The World's Number One," as long as you are a fan of You Mingyue, you shouldn't be unfamiliar with it.

During this year's Spring Festival season, when "Resident Evil" was released, You Mingyue Studio had officially announced three film and television projects, namely "Kung Fu Jungle," "Reset," and "The World's Number One."

Among them, "Kung Fu Jungle" was withdrawn from theaters at the end of August, ultimately achieving a box office of 2.3 billion!

Although its box office performance was much lower than movies like "Resident Evil" and "Nezha," considering it was a Wuxia theme and the investment cost was not high, only about 30 million, this movie was still very profitable.

Another movie that won big with a small investment!

Moreover, the box office this movie received is already the highest box office among Wuxia movies!

Everyone knows that You Mingyue filming Wuxia is a specialty!

Besides "Kung Fu Jungle," everyone's attention to "The World's Number One" was equally high, even much higher than the attention to "Kung Fu Jungle"!

First of all, this is a TV drama, and its biggest characteristic is that it's long and satisfying! Unlike movies that are short and punchy! A Wuxia TV drama has at least 20 episodes or more.

Secondly, this is You Mingyue's second Wuxia TV drama after "The Legend of Jiang Yuyan." With the reputation of the previous work, the popularity of this drama was destined not to be low from the moment it was officially established.

Just like after "Chinese Paladin 1" became a hit, "Chinese Paladin 3" was popular before it even aired.

The twins have already won the audience's confidence with "The Legend of Jiang Yuyan," and everyone believes their second Wuxia drama won't be bad either.

Finally, there's the title of the drama. Unlike "Kung Fu Jungle" and "Reset," where the names left people confused, the name "The World's Number One" sounds very exciting the moment you hear it!

Isn't what Wuxia people fight for the title of "The World's Number One"?

It might just be a story about a greenhorn who encounters a miraculous opportunity and eventually becomes the world's number one.

Countless netizens had long guessed that this should be a satisfying drama!

After all, You Mingyue is also very good at filming satisfying dramas.

Uh...

As long as they don't film horror movies, it will basically be very satisfying!

And now.

You Mingyue's new Wuxia TV drama is finally about to air.

At this moment, when the news from You Mingyue's Weibo and You Mingyue Studio's Weibo was released, it exploded after only being calm for a few days!

"Holy crap! 'The World's Number One' is here!"

"Finally waited for you, good thing I didn't give up!"

"Don't be so sentimental, okay? But, it really is good news, finally there's another TV drama to chase!"

"Call for the Gu King young ladies!"

"Modern Wuxia films still have to depend on You Mingyue! Other Wuxia dramas don't even have martial arts directors anymore. Only the young ladies are still insisting on filming like this. Only in their Wuxia dramas can you see wonderful fight scenes. Other dramas are all special effects and slow motion, it gives me a headache just looking at them!"

"I would like to call them the last hope of Wuxia!"

"Eleven more days, I don't want to live through these eleven days at all! Can we fast-forward?"

"I wonder how many people will die this time, and if the protagonist will die."

"Hahahaha, you understand You Mingyue; they are old knife-wielders. If they don't stab us, they aren't comfortable."

"..."

The young lady looked at the comments and laughed instantly.

Can only say, these netizens have a very accurate eye for people!

This drama can be said not to have many stabs, but it definitely has them!

In the final ending, Shangguan Haitang dies, Yagyu Piaoxu commits suicide, and even Zhu Wushi's lifelong love, Suxin, commits suicide, and she even had her head cut off to let Princess Yunluo hand it to the Divine Marquis, making him completely collapse...

This ending should still be able to torture people a bit.

Speaking of torture, it has to be "Wind and Cloud."

Nie Feng loves one and one dies; although Bu Jingyun is a bit better, he wears a green hat, and the God of Death who doesn't cry almost cried.

The young lady thought to herself.

The filming of "Wind and Cloud" has already been put on their agenda and will start soon.

Yet at this time.

You Mingyue Studio's Weibo started releasing character posters.

This is the second wave of promotional work.

More than ten posters were released together, showing the stills of the drama's leads:

Duan Tianya!

Guihai Yidao!

Shangguan Haitang!

Cheng Shifei!

Zhu Wushi!

Suxin!

Yagyu Piaoxu!

Yagyu Xueji!

Princess Yunluo!

Among them, Shangguan Haitang and Yagyu Piaoxu were personally contacted and invited by the young lady. Their actors are Ye Xuan and Gao Yuanyuan of the Blue Star timeline.

For Director Yue's invitation, the two women were overjoyed and agreed without much hesitation.

This is a good opportunity to get on good terms with You Mingyue, and besides, this is You Mingyue's Wuxia drama; the probability of failure is almost equal to zero.

When they saw the script, they liked it even more.

Speaking of which, Gao Yuanyuan is truly beautiful. When the young lady saw her in person, she couldn't help but lose her focus for a moment, while secretly cursing, "The hatred of Zhao Youting stealing my wife is irreconcilable!"

However, the Gao Yuanyuan of this world is not yet married, so this hatred of wife-stealing cannot be spoken of for the time being.

Of course, Ye Xuan herself is also very beautiful.

As for the actor for Suxin, they chose a female actor who, like the original version, could be seen as very gentle, virtuous, and beautiful at a glance.

Yagyu Xueji is played by Chen Yao. Although she is full of girlishness, when she doesn't smile, she is actually the cold type.

The role of Princess Yunluo was given to "Little Aunt" Deng Jiajia. Little Aunt doesn't look old, and this role has high requirements for acting skills, so letting her play it is just right.

As for the young lady herself... she actually acted in this one too, but not as a protagonist.

They originally wanted to play Shangguan Haitang, but because they later magically modified the script into a sequel to "The Legend of Jiang Yuyan," in this TV drama, they still played the Yan Emperor Jiang Yuyan, with few scenes, just making a cameo in the drama!

Naturally, they weren't in the announced posters, just treating it as a surprise for the audience.

In reality.

At this moment, the netizens, seeing the poster images, were already pleasantly surprised. ===== CHAPTER 918 =====
