Chapter 996

The first episode of 'Reset' ended just like that.

Penguin Video updates one episode every day from Tuesday to Friday.

And noble members can see two episodes in advance.

At this time.

The novel subject matter, compact content, tense plot, one suspense after another, from the bus explosion to the loop ghost wall... made this show deeply attract the audience.

For non-member viewers, want to keep watching? Then become a member.

This is the reason why Tencent spent nearly 200 million to buy the online broadcast rights.

This wasn't because they had too much money to burn, nor were they crazy to spend 200 million on a web drama, but because they saw that Xu Mingyou's new show would definitely bring a large number of new member growth to Penguin Video.

In fact, it was exactly as Penguin thought.

On Earth, 'Reset' aired in January 2022, and during its broadcast, it trended countless times, with extremely high member acquisition ability!

I don't know how many viewers signed up for VIP for this short, concise, yet addictive and incredibly alluring short drama.

It fully proves that as long as the quality of the drama is high, people will not be stingy with their money, unlike the nonsense some directors say, claiming that people nowadays only like to watch bad dramas.

To binge their daughter's show, Zhao Ma and Zhao Ma had long since signed up for Penguin Video.

At this very moment, the TV series had already started playing the second episode automatically.

They were also completely attracted by this show.

At the same time.

On the internet.

With the broadcast of 'Reset', the internet also became lively; as soon as the first episode finished airing, the entire internet was full of discussions about 'Reset'.

The industry was shaken again!

'You're telling me this is the popularity of a web drama?'

It was just outrageous.

But more people were already used to it.

Twins' basic operation, don't be surprised!

Actually, themes like 【Loop】 had also appeared on Blue Star.

Some foreign sci-fi movies or TV series had used such creative ideas.

But in domestic film and television works, it was the first time seeing it.

This made a large number of viewers feel novel.

Watching 'Reset' for the first time, when the loop concept combined with the bus explosion, the brain-burning feeling, impact, and amazement it brought were incredibly strong.

The length of episodes like 'Reset' is just right; if it were longer, it would give people a feeling of dragging, even becoming a bad film due to padding the plot, and if it were shorter, it would make people feel like it ended hastily before entering the main drama.

'Reset' is just right; the compact, exciting, and tense plot brought wave after wave of climaxes, but without over-demanding, leaving a deep impression.

Hengdian.

Reba brought a cup of hot milk tea; of course, to cover up her purpose of currying favor with the director, she bought a portion for others too, but only for the milk tea she gave to Youyue would she deliver it personally.

Tonight, for the 'Wind and Cloud' crew, it was destined to be a busy night.

Tonight was a night shoot.

Other crews had already started to wrap up, but the 'Wind and Cloud' crew was still filming.

"Cut, let's rest for a while."

"You two come over, I'll give you some acting tips! It shouldn't be performed like you just did!" Youyue said to the actors playing Nie Feng and Bu Jingyun.

After speaking, she rubbed her temples, feeling her trigeminal nerve aching.

Not every actor was as worry-free and easy to train as Zhao Jingmai, Kanai, Yang Mi, Zhu Xudan, Dais, and Reba.

"Sister, drink some milk tea."

At this time, Reba walked over, swaying her graceful figure, showing a sweet smile.

This woman was truly full of charm, full of style, and soul-stirring.

On the side, many staff members and actors were stunned.

At the same time, they immediately felt that the milk tea they had just received in their hands wasn't fragrant anymore.

Can what they got from the delivery rider be the same as what Reba delivered personally?

Xu Mingyou was too enviable and jealous-inducing.

One by one, they cast envious gazes toward Youyue.

"Thank you." Youyue performed a real-life version of Sichuan opera face-changing; she, who was a tyrant just a moment ago, suddenly shed her cold face and revealed a sweet smile.

It made people feel very unreal.

"So sweet," Youyue's eyes curved into crescents, staring at Reba's beautiful eyes and praising: "Sister's milk tea is really delicious."

She swore that she wouldn't say this to every beauty who bought her milk tea.

Moreover, one has to say, Reba's milk tea was indeed fragrant.

To change the subject.

Zhao Jingmai's parents, like the audience in thousands of households in Huaxia, started watching the second episode of 'Reset'.

The beginning didn't connect to the content at the end of the previous episode, but instead, from Xiao Heyun's perspective, retold the process of the bus explosion.

On the bus, he was framed by Li Shiqing, who said he was a pervert, and then he was pulled off the bus by Li Shiqing on the grounds of going to the police station.

After getting off the bus, Li Shiqing inexplicably didn't go to the police station anymore.

Xiao Heyun had a very important meeting today, he had to go, so after separating from Li Shiqing, he immediately hailed a taxi.

The taxi's speed was much faster than the bus; soon, when the bus was waiting for a red light, the taxi caught up with the bus.

Then... the bus exploded!

Seeing the red light turn green, the bus started, and then, the bus and an oil tanker had a violent collision; when the deafening explosion sounded, Xiao Heyun himself was also swallowed by the fire.

The special effects of Xu Mingyou's film and television works have always been praised.

Known as the two women in the entire entertainment industry most willing to spend money on special effects.

In fact, the special effects production department within the Polaris company now has a special effects production level that is one of the best in Huaxia, even comparable to top foreign special effects production companies.

All of this was smashed out by Xu Mingyou's money.

At this moment, 'Reset' showed movie-level explosion special effects, with flames soaring into the sky, as if they could sweep away everything.

Here, besides spending money on special effects, to be closer to reality, the twins actually bought a real bus to blow up!

The picture presented to people was very shocking!

Can you smell it?

The smell of money!

Immediately after, behind the explosion flames, three words appeared: Episode Two.

And in the...

At this time, some sensitive viewers already understood the meaning of this symbol.

"It's not the number 8, it's infinity, representing a loop."

"This is a story of an infinite loop."

"The main line for the two protagonists next should be to investigate the cause of the bus explosion, or stop the bus explosion; only in this way can they escape the loop."
