Chapter 3: First Meal in Another World

Soon they returned outside the cave, Ba Ke Er placed the huge beast at the entrance, then brought Zhang Fan into the cave. Ba Ke Er first used a firestarter to light a fire inside the cave, letting Zhang Fan sit and rest, while he himself went outside to process the game.

He first tore open the beast's hide with his bare hands, then used a bone knife he had just taken from the cave to chop off its teeth and horns, and with the same bone knife he gutted the beast, removing the entrails, which he then buried underground. Finally he cut the meat into several large chunks with the bone knife and skewered them on clean branches before bringing them into the cave.

Zhang Fan saw Ba te er enter and voluntarily helped him skewer the meat over the fire. Seeing Zhang Fan eagerly helping, Ba Ke Er felt pleased and sprinkled salt on the roasting meat. After a while the meat was done. Ba te er then cut off the tenderest, most delicious pieces with his bone knife and handed them to Zhang Fan.

Zhang Fan had also been hungry for a long time; the recent events had been so thrilling that he temporarily forgot his hunger, but now that he was safe and food was right before him, he quickly felt hungry again. So hungry he felt faint, he swiftly stretched out both hands to receive the meat, but upon touching it, the scalding heat made him instinctively pull his hands back.

Suddenly he remembered the items he had brought from Earth when he transmigrated, so he began rummaging through his shopping bag. (Fortunately his shopping bag was made of zippered non-woven fabric; otherwise, during the giant beast's attack just now, everything would have been ruined!)

Soon he found a fruit knife and two stainless steel bowls in the bag, and also took out some seasonings: Lao Gan Ma chili sauce, Sichuan pepper powder, fresh ginger, garlic, scallions, and a large bottle of sesame oil.

After finishing, Zhang Fan took out two pairs of chopsticks from the bag, handed one pair to Ba Ke Er along with a bowl of the roasted meat.

"Ba Ke Er, try it and see if it tastes good."

"I, can I really eat it?"

"Of course! Since you saved me, you are my lifesaver, you are my benefactor—eating is no problem. Besides, this giant beast was killed by you, it's your game; you don't mind me eating your food for free, so how could I still treat you as an outsider? Um, by the way, have you never seen these things before?"

Seeing this, Ba Ke Er was practically ecstatic! Because everyone on the Beastmen Planet knows that if a female willingly feeds her own food to a male beastman, it shows she has strong affection for him, even that she is willing to become his mate!

After his excitement, Ba Ke Er opened his mouth wide and ate the piece of meat filled with 'affection.' His first feeling was 'so happy,' second 'so delicious,' third 'Fan Fan is so gentle.' If we could go on like this for a lifetime, how wonderful that would be!

After finishing, Ba Ke Er broke into a radiant smile, adding a touch of sunshine, a hint of roguishness, and seven parts handsomeness to his already very handsome face!

This smile left Zhang Fan staring; as a gay man, his heart pounded nonstop, his heartbeat quickening while his face flushed like the evening clouds, making his already delicate, fair complexion even more captivating.

The beautiful scene before him made Ba Ke Er smile even more brightly, and the slow-witted Zhang Fan also felt a bit embarrassed; he hurriedly shoved the nearby seasonings into Ba Ke Er's hands so he could do the grilling himself, then turned around, picked up his own bowl, walked to a corner, and began eating silently.

Soon, Zhang Fan's first meal on the Beastmen Planet passed amidst his flushed face and Ba Ke Er's smile.
