However, the most fundamental rule of this universe is aggregation and division; even the Primordial Creator, this creator of the universe, cannot escape this limitation.

Once awakened, attracting the aggregation of various source substances and extraordinary characteristics, the Primordial Creator will once again split and fall back into slumber.

Awakening means splitting, splitting means slumber, followed by another awakening, splitting, and slumber.

Everything seems like a cycle.

Because the Primordial Creator slumbers upon the Earth, the Earth itself lies within a cycle of civilizational destruction and rebirth.

Meanwhile, outside the Earth in the universe at that time, many outsider gods still existed.

Some of them are personalities once split off by the Primordial Creator, some are his directly born children, and some are beings born from the union of the Primordial Creator and the Fallen Mother Goddess; collectively they are called the Old Ones.

Thereafter, the Primordial Creator awakened; modern civilization on Earth was destroyed, and a large amount of source substances and extraordinary characteristics in the universe, due to the law of aggregation, were drawn to Earth, accumulating on Earth into the Nine Great Source Substances and the Twenty-Two Divine Paths.

But soon after, because of the law that aggregation necessitates division, the Primordial Creator again split into various source substances and extraordinary characteristics, falling into slumber.

Also, due to the law of extraordinary aggregation, those Old One outsider gods in the universe were also drawn to the vicinity of Earth.

Some of them possess their own source substances and extraordinary characteristics that were torn apart by the Primordial Creator's awakening; they were drawn to Earth, seeking to retrieve them in order to become whole again.

Others covet the source substances and extraordinary characteristics present on Earth that are similar to their own.

However, because a barrier formed from the Primordial Creator's residual power lies beyond Earth, they cannot enter; they can only hover over the many planets outside Earth.

After the Primordial Creator fell asleep, the two personalities split from his consciousness became two pillar-level Old Ones, namely the Heavenly Venerable and God.

Thereafter, due to their merging instinct, they fought each other, and ultimately both perished.

This era can be called the First Era, the Chaos Era.

Afterward, Earth experienced the Second Era, the Dark Era, when the ancient gods ruled the earth; the primordial sun god awoke, defeated many ancient gods, and ruled the earth in the Third Era, the Cataclysm Era; and the Fourth Era, the Gods' Era, when numerous true gods contended.

And now, at the point in time when Feng Yi crossed over, we are in the Fifth Era.

This is the Potion System, or the Sequence System.
