Chapter 6: Hiruzen Sarutobi Surrenders, a Deal!
“Useless!”
“Izanagi is an Uchiha ninjutsu—how could I have no defense at all?”
Uchiha Jin’s expression was calm.
A crimson six-pointed star rotated in his eyes, his dynamic vision enhanced countlessfold—Tobirama’s speed still seemed sluggish to him.
Next.
Tobirama revived again, then died again.
Only when the Sharingan on his arm was completely drained did he dash aside and hide behind Hiruzen Sarutobi.
“Sarutobi, help me!”
And yet, for this,
Hiruzen Sarutobi and the other three had long since gone numb.
Especially Tobirama!
This guy kept dying and coming back—it was just too terrifying.
Yet facing Tobirama’s plea, Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed, then stepped directly in front of him to shield him.
“Uchiha Jin, that’s enough!”
Hiruzen Sarutobi shouted loudly, then spoke with grave seriousness: “I can withdraw the Root and Anbu surrounding the Uchiha compound—how about that?”
“Sarutobi, Itachi can’t do that!” Tobirama exclaimed in shock, immediately objecting.
Are Itachi kidding?
He had used countless schemes, exploiting the Nine-Tails attack, to barely corner the Uchiha.
Now, with a single word from Hiruzen Sarutobi, he was to abandon years of effort?
But, for this,
Hiruzen Sarutobi refused to elaborate: “Shut up. I’m the Hokage!”
“Sarutobi, Itachi’ll regret this!” Tobirama gritted his teeth.
Uchiha Jin’s eyes narrowed slightly, his entire body radiating killing intent.
He truly wanted to eliminate Tobirama on the spot—after all, Tobirama had struck first, and he didn’t believe Hiruzen Sarutobi would choose to completely break ties over a dead man.
Konoha is too weak now—it can’t withstand this upheaval!
But he hadn’t expected it.
Tobirama was too much of a coward—he immediately fled at the first sign of trouble, with zero dignity of a true warrior!
Still, Hiruzen Sarutobi’s proposal was acceptable. Konoha wasn’t ready, and neither was he—this wasn’t yet the time to fully break the peace.
“Fine. Done.”
Uchiha Jin gave a slight nod.
After speaking,
he ignored the Konoha F4 before him entirely and turned away, walking straight out of the Hokage’s office.
Hiruzen Sarutobi’s face was grim.
He watched Uchiha Jin leave with dull eyes, his gaze thick with murderous intent—yet he still picked up his pipe and began puffing smoke, his eyes flickering as he silently pondered a way out.
Tobirama spoke coldly: “Sarutobi, Itachi’re too weak!”
Even the insignificant Transmigration Shōnun now spoke angrily: “Uchiha Jin is too arrogant—we should eliminate him at all costs! How can we withdraw the Anbu and Root surrounding the Uchiha?”
“I disagree too!” Mizumon En declared.
Hearing this, Hiruzen Sarutobi’s headache worsened.
Itachi fools!
Just moments ago, when facing Uchiha Jin, Tobirama cowered behind me, and Mizumon En and Transmigration Shōnun turned invisible—now that he’s gone, Itachi’re all acting bold?
He truly wanted to punch these idiots dead, but knowing he couldn’t fully control Konoha with just the Sarutobi clan alone, he still needed these three’s support.
So he took a deep breath and began to explain.
“Itachi three idiots, haven’t Itachi noticed?”
“Uchiha Jin is completely different from other Uchiha—he’s truly willing to die fighting us!”
“Especially since he controls the Uchiha’s most elite radicals. Not to mention whether my current prestige can rally all of Konoha—even if Konoha agreed to fight the Uchiha, destroying them would leave Konoha crippled.”
“How would a weakened Konoha handle the other four ninja villages?”
“And don’t forget!”
“The radicals are camped right outside the Sarutobi compound—do Itachi really want me to get my own clan wiped out?”
Hiruzen Sarutobi’s tone turned icy.
He could tell Uchiha Jin was serious—the man had prepared to die, and intended to drag the Sarutobi clan down with him.
Eliminate Uchiha Jin? Are Itachi kidding?
Are Itachi sure Itachi’re not trying to wipe out the Sarutobi clan?
Tobirama: “...”
Transmigration Shōnun: “...”
Mizumon En: “...”
The three fell completely silent, unsure what to say.
Uchiha Jin is too radical!
Ordinary radicals only shout threats—but this man actually kills, and with the resolve to die, ready to take someone down with him.
Watching the silent trio, Hiruzen Sarutobi sighed: “Tobirama, speak.”
“What’s with that arm full of Sharingan? And this ‘die and revive’ business—what’s going on?”
“And regarding Uchiha Jin’s Mangekyo Sharingan—what did Itachi learn from fighting him?”
Tobirama looked helpless but dared not hide anything.
He admitted the arm was Orochimaru’s creation, though its effects were still highly unstable.
Sharingan?
Of course—they were secretly seized from the Uchiha!
Even before the clan massacre, Root had no shortage of Sharingan eyes.
The resurrection effect came from ‘Izanagi’!
When speaking of Uchiha Jin's dōjutsu, his eyes filled with utter terror.
"Uchiha Jin's dōjutsu is terrifying—so much so that it's unstoppable!"
"Any ninjutsu that touches it dissolves completely. Once locked onto by his dōjutsu, no defense, no barrier technique, has the slightest effect."
"During our fight, Uchiha Jin rarely used his dōjutsu—clearly, it consumes enormous chakra."
"In future battles against Uchiha Jin, I recommend overwhelming him with numbers—once his dōjutsu power is exhausted, he's useless!"
Tobirama spoke earnestly; Hiruzen Sarutobi frowned in response.
He had originally thought the Wood Release experiment had succeeded—only to find it was merely an experimental failure, leaving him deeply disappointed.
As for Izanagi, he felt no desire for it.
Not everyone could mutilate their body like Tobirama did!
“Wait—something’s wrong!”
“Tobirama, your arm of Sharingan was clearly seen by Uchiha Jin—why didn’t he question it? Why didn’t he even demand it?”
“That doesn’t make sense.”
Transmigration Shōnun suddenly spoke up.
And for this,
Hiruzen Sarutobi took a slow drag from his pipe, then spoke softly: “It proves just how dangerous Uchiha Jin is. A man who ignores the theft of his own clan’s kekkei genkai—imagine how patient he is, how extreme his goals.”
“Wait, Sarutobi,” Tobirama suddenly said: “I have an idea!”
“There’s something I haven’t told Itachi—Uchiha Jin’s ability to awaken his Mangekyo Sharingan likely has something to do with me.”
“Uchiha Jin’s parents are in Root’s custody!”
“The very next day after Root captured his parents, news spread that Uchiha Jin had awakened his Mangekyo—and immediately joined the radicals!”
