Chapter 108

The lamps had all been shattered, leaving only moonlight streaming through the window, casting a faint glow in the dim hall—but failing to illuminate the two figures in the shadows.

"... Ha."

After stepping back two paces, Lin Yu stabilized his stance and let out a light laugh.

Seems so.

Haven't felt this in a long time.

Since his combat index surpassed 15,000 points, he had never retreated a single step—not even when Lei Kesi, combined with Ares' Demon, unleashed their full force, he had only barely shifted back a fraction.

Though he hadn't unleashed his full power just now, the mysterious figure before him had forced him back two steps—enough to prove the man's combat strength.

His eyes.

Gazing forward.

Ahead.

In the shadows.

A mysterious figure clad in a black robe, only his eyes exposed, stared at Lin Yu—but even those eyes now held surprise.

"..."

Seems astonished.

The Lin Yu before him...

Combat index.

Is this strong?!

Just now.

He had...

Stepped back three full paces!

"Kid..."

"He's mine."

"You'd better step aside."

Though he sensed Lin Yu's tenacity, the mysterious man still snarled, his voice vicious and laced with faint echoes—as if deliberately done.

"..."

Lin Yu's eyes calmly regarded the mysterious figure before him.

Then—

Hum!

His figure!

Vanished in an instant!

"..."

The mysterious man froze slightly, utterly unprepared—this man was so ruthless and brutal, silent as a tomb, and launched an attack without warning!

"Then..."

"Come."

A flicker of ferocity surfaced in his eyes, as if stung by the sense of being disdained.

Hum!

Hum!

Hum!

His combat index surged wildly!

Ahead!

Afterimages surged, as if about to reach him in the blink of an eye!

Around him, faint orange light rapidly spread and filled the air—his combat power began to skyrocket!

'9999...'

'10000...'

'15000...'

'19999...'

'20000...'

In its violent surge, under the stunned gaze of the Heigou Gang's top enforcer lurking in the shadows, it shot straight to its peak: 20,000 points!

A terrifying aura!

Forming crushing pressure!

Pressing forward!

Hum!

And at that moment!

Lin Yu's figure had already arrived before him!

No technique, no move—he channeled all his strength into his fist, fingers clenched, delivering a devastating haymaker!

Malevolent energy!

Spread!

The power concentrated in this punch shattered the air with a deafening crack—even the surrounding space twisted under the mysterious man's horrified gaze!

And simultaneously!

Under the mysterious man's horrified stare, Lin Yu's heavy fist erupted with countless silver lights, surging through the warped space around his fist!

A combat power index!

Flashing and gone!

'10000……'

'20000!'

Heavy punch!

Directly slammed down!

"…｀ ．…"

"……"

"……"

Looking at the fist before him, seemingly brimming with explosive power, and further ahead, the young man who had already reached his side, yet whose body was thick with lethal aura.

In the mysterious figure's heart, a few ripples of agitation and fear surfaced.

Block…

Or…

Defense?

Dodging was already too late; at equal speed, the moment this figure moved, he would have to dodge—but he had surged his combat power precisely to overpower with force. Yet as he watched this heavy fist, radiating explosive power, crash down, his spirit faltered, and dread gripped him!

But then!

He channeled countless energies, condensing them instantly into his arms, crossing them in a defensive posture!

Boom—

Like a mountain peak collapsing in an instant!

This punch!

Solidly…

Struck the mysterious figure's arms!

The next second!

Boom!

The mysterious figure's body immediately began retreating backward, stumbling six or seven steps; when he finally stabilized his stance, he snapped his gaze upward, staring at Lin Yu in disbelief.

Shock.

Unbelievable.

Clearly…

Both were 20,000 combat power points!

Yet why was the force of this young man's punch explosive beyond twenty thousand points?!
